I got the opportunity to come see Eric @I_Do_Cars and we did a motor teardown. Also got to crush a car. Then hang around and see his day to day operation.
When I was 15 my Dad worked in a stone quarry. They needed trees removed so they could get to more ledge. My Dad and I cleared the trees on the weekends. The first Saturday I was at the quarry I noticed a tent with a 67 0r 68 Camaro parked next to it. My Dad said the guy worked at the quarry and had been thrown out of wherever he was living so the owner let him pitch a tent in the quarry. The next week the tent was gone but the Camaro was still sitting there. The guy got fired. On the third Saturday the Camaro was flat as a pancake. Someone spray painted "OUCH" on the remnants. The guy was told he had a week to get the car out of the quarry. He never returned for it. The owner of the quarry played monster truck and drove over the Camaro with the pay loader. 🤣🤣
