    I'm more concerned with having fun than getting fast times, so even though Petrus might not be considered the fastest method, I may switch to it. It has intuitive block building, AND last layer algs, which are both things I love in cubing.

    Tips on EO, if the 1/2 LL edges are in the front slots misoriented and the other 2/3 LL edges are on the top and forms a line the you can do F sexy F’ then do a y/y’ to make them all oriented

    I use a variation of Petrus (disclaimer: I'm a newb), basically partial F2L (make a T and insert the 2 corresponding pairs), then something close to normal Petrus. I found it was faster for me than block building from 2x2x2 to 2x2x3, but could just be me.

    • @papasmurfcubes2616
      @papasmurfcubes2616 4 года назад +3

      Block building is better in the long run. It might seem easier to do it that way, but as you can 100% see 2x2x2 in inspection and sometimes 2x2x3 and it will almost always be more efficient and faster to do it the normal way.
