Where is the part of no more pain?
Dr Drew! Ive got foot pain and you helped me (once again). Yes, once again, as we know each other, brother. It is Colin Bryce here, and I have two say, you are looking well. So pleased to find your channel. It's been a while since I last saw you my friend. Damn you are good. This man is the original guru, folks. If he says it - listen - it's the gospel. He gave me a hallelujah moment 10 years ago when I was working in California.Years of being a top level athlete left me with so many pains. Mans a genius. I was almost crippled with knee paIn. BOOM - fixed. The fix may not have lasted forever - but i left with understanding as well, so I can fix it myself. x
I have pain a long the 5th metatarsal but the doctor says he is 100% sure it isn't a fracture of any sort. He claims I have tendonitis along the 5th metatarsal but I cannot find any information online about this injury. Is there any other injury besides a fracture that could be making that area sore? Anything that pushes against it hurts and throbs. I am frustrated they haven't offered an MRI.
Same here .after cast removal i also feel the same pain and discomfort.
How are you now ?
I have severe pain down the side of my foot by my 5th metatarsal - there is a knot the size of a ping pong ball...the xray came back negative and my doctor is having me do plantar faciatis (sp?) exercises with no results

QUESTION How I prevent a stress fraction to happen when I am having already discomfort and tenderness? Thanks
I have a Jones fracture and I've been in pain since May currently in a cast until July 20th and I get to find out if i have to have surgery. The pain goes all the way up my leg in particular in my shin area and outside leg ... I'm a cashier but i walk all the time and my foot feel into a homely 🐕 dug
Did you ever need surgery?
How are you now? I'm a cashier and walk a lot as well so this injury really is taking a toll on everything in my life.
I started feeling the bone sticking out on the 5th Metatarsel. Its not painful, but some discomfort is there. I get it from rollerskating I think, that is my passion, are u saying I need to take a break? I wish I dont have to stop, thanks.

5th Metatarsal fracture k 1 year bad gant kyon pad jati hi and skin ka color v change ho jata hi.
I’ve played basketball my whole life. I had an opportunity to play at a small college and I was diagnosed with a jones fracture. I had a screw put into my foot to speed up the recovery process.
I have small sensations of pain 3 years later where the screw is. Is this scar tissue that I feel or could this be something more serious?

I got 5th metatersel frac and put on cast for 3 weeks after removel of cast i m still feeling little pain kindly suggest what to do

@@Sfxxfs mera k wire dala tha phir plaster hua tha 2 mahine ho gaye .main ab chalti bhi hun lekin chalne pr ya khade rahne pr swelling aa jati hai, jahan fracture hua tha wahan ka bone hard hai

@@Sfxxfs can you put that in English? I fractured my 5th met. Wore a boot for 2 months. Still having tenderness on the side of foot as explained in video. Thanks.
@@jasweb147 grab a rubber band, move your feet to the sides. That helped me in the 5th week. I can almost walk normally, plan to run a 1,5 army run in a week.
