Never knitted the I-cord and never knitted cables but love a challenge and learning new techniques and I started this morning and I'm surprising myself ☺ Since I'm living near Amsterdam, one of my New Year's resolutions is to take the train (about 15 min to CS) and check out your store when that's possible again. Thanks for something different and happy holidays! 🎉🎆🎉

So excited. I bought the book with this pattern and I am finding your patterns a breeze to follow (knock on wood); I feel like an advanced beginner knitter, when really I would call myself "still mastering the basics"

I love that you’re changing up your knitting style to show us how the make one’s are made throughout the pattern.
This newbie knitter appreciates you 😘

Hey Stephen are you planning to do a tutorial for the Cable Trellis Hat? I am actually confused about the change position on the beginning of round bit and not sure how to do this whole part

Thank you for this gift and these explanations but I did not understand how to go from 20 stitches on row 4 to 24 stitches on row 8; Can you write me the explanations because my English is very bad and I would like to make this pretty shawl and learn new techniques.

Will there be help where the cable divides please? C4B and C4F it’s confusing me right now. Thanks, OK, no longer confused, even for a brand new cable knitter it was very clear after I read the excellent description in the ‘abbreviations’ section, I just panicked. Alors, pas de panique! Xxx

I’m confused, so after row 5 section 2 , do you repeat row 6 from the 1st section?

beginner knitter here (a lot of crochet experience, though). I am always in for a challenge - what better way to learn. Everything is very clear, but I am struggling a bit with the spiralling cables (I am on row 13 now, slow but steady 😁), I think I am knitting a bit too tight. Anyone got tips for me? 😊
