Trivia time. The reason why the Japanese lines for Papyrus is vertical is because of the purpose of his font. To LOOK old. And vertical writing is an old way of writing in Japanese. I’m both mad and impressed by the detail that went into this game.
@@youchangeddachannel8826 Japanese is written vertically in more contexts for people than English is, so Japanese people are more likely to be used to that. English not so much. So vertical writing works for the JP version alone. I just don’t get why he’s mad at the detail. Impressed sure, but mad??

i love the work done switching the japanese text with the english one, but kinda makes me a bit sad to not see the japanese fonts used on the japanese adaptation of the game, love to see ange in undertale anyways
@Saijou Candari i mean like as the note when ange was reading papyrus dialogue, papyrus "speaks" in vertical, kinda rugged font, and sans also have a more roundy font akin to the comic sans he uses in english, thats why i mean
