Ever since I found rad bmx build’s channel this morning I been non stop watching all his videos it instantly transported me back to my childhood the nostalgia is awesome
What are his business hours?! LOL. Dude has a full on bike shop in his basement.. DAMN!! I'll be 53 in December, and I never get tired of this type of BMX content. It's definitely a throwback to the worry free days of my youth! Those pictures on the wall are crazy too! I had pages and posters from BMXPlus taped up all over one wall in my bedroom! This never gets old!
@@thebmxbasement6745 Nice! Still have my 86 Haro Sport WITH the original Perigrine wheel set. Built up two of the modern Lineage Sports a couple years ago.
CRAZY! I used to live in Portland when I was in 6th grade, my and some friends tried to bail with the Dyno's when they had them out front of that bike shop in south Portland!
I have my original Knighthawk frame (only) from my childhood bike that was giving to me for my 14th birthday in 1985 by my parents. That's the only original bike part I still have (pending a restoration). Its amazing to see guys that have kept their original bikes. Great video!
⚠👻30:22 - wheel under the table moves by itself. If you watch it in slow motion (0.25) you can see some magnetic wave or something similar in the video image at the exact same moment 👻
wow!! wow!! wow! how amazing. the memories are rushing back. I'm trying to mentally go through the motions to do a Miami hopper!!! no Trickstar???? sorry I'm a Baltimore boy and was lucky enough to pick up my candy red Trickstar at the factory. I am curious are all these outstanding bike been purchased at the current prices I see. I mean I see full bikes 3k and 3 pce gt cranks for 600.00. I just cant understand how they've become so expensive. I can see a thousand for a decent '87 haro master but the price for these parts is to me way more than I can afford but I think to outrageous. I glad somebody is badass enough to say hell with it and build these because you guys are the reason my dreams are still alive and I'm grateful for you. I prefer my acs z-rims over tuff wheels and composite wheels. utterly epic basement. I hope a see a hutch in the future here!! cheers
Great stuff! Lots of great memories with these bikes. Same experience for me - lots of bikes that my friends had that I always wanted. I'd prob have at least another 3 or 4 classics if I had the room for them. 😇
Currently building a 1984 haro well not sure about the year but was wondering what forks would go in mine the front of bike doesn't have top for the bearing to sit in properly I'm kinda new to doing bikes myself so still learning sorry guys haha you'll see the bike on my shorts
The last BMX I owned in 89 was a torker ll I built that had got stolen ;(/ I could still name every part that was on it. Its cook how some of the originals are re=popping the real deal. I finally managed to find " Shimano DX " pedals, well they are very close to OG Shimano DX with better quality because the pins come out, AND although there made by Haro and there actually called "Fusion" pedals if your like me and had to have some "real Shimano DX" and wont settle for some cheapo copies like Evo. Cheers.
Wicked good 😆 I'm not far. How did the order go from lowest to highest flatland Dyno models? Dyno Compe, Compe 1&2 Dyno Detour Dyno Zone Dyno AiR Dyno Slammer Dyno Pro Compe Dyno Pro Compe Team Which are the top three and colorways?
My childhood bike was stolen. A neon pink Kuwahara Bravo. Soon after, insurance covered foe another bike a green Dyno Compe, but it just wasnt the same. Man, I'd sell one of my sons to get back my bike.

I still have my original bike, and still ride it. Modern bikes are way stronger and less hassle to ride (stronger stem/fork interface, better brakes).
Awesome tour of the basement love all the retro bikes keeping BMX alive let's GO
Glad you enjoyed it. His bikes are OG old school bikes. Only retro was the 24” Haro
Shout out to Dizz Hicks and Ceppie Mays, Team CW!
I’m gonna have to go with that white Haro Master frame on the wall. Great collection!
Thank you. The white master is an 85 NOS frame. It’s never been built. Was thrown around a bike shop for about 30 years.
