hey i work at a dodge dealership tilt the mirror glass in so you can put your fingers between the glass and the mirror body and pop it youll never break the glass

I have a Laramie that came with chrome, swapped out the bumpers, grill and mirror covers for paintable and then painted it all to match, to include the "RAM" letters in the grill. When they were swapping the the right side mirror cover, they broke the glass. The said it was quiteeasy to break, didn't take much.

If you use a 5 inch suction cup. The mirror will pop out

I wonder why my driver side mirror tilts up after I turn off my truck? I too changed the mirror caps like y’all but for some reason on the driver side I adjust my mirror to where I want it while turned on it stays in place but after any time I turn my truck off it tilts up all the way I have to adjust my driver side mirror all the time? Idk what I did wrong??
Does your truck have presets for different drivers?

is there a screw holding the back cover. I need to remove to try and repair the turn signal light. It has a crack and its getting condensation inside

RJ Phillips I did a quick search couldn’t find any myself. I see there are non painted ones selling $40 a set on EBay. I would grab those and have them painted!
I had a quick question are all 5th gen ram mirrors the same ? I have a 2019 ram 1500 sport new body style and I broke my driver side mirror and it needs to be replaced. I bought a driver side mirror off a 2020 ram 1500 sport it has the same features as my 2019 ram 1500 and the mirror comes with the 2 plugs so do you think it would fit my 2019 ram 1500
Is your 2019 a DS or DT body style

Why not use a suction cup on the glass?
Would definitely come in handy if you have a strong one laying around

Im having no luck right now with the screwdriver for the last hour. So get a big suction cup and pull it straight off?
Z06 Steve yup, I got a orange one from Autozone, maybe $10 and put it in the center and pull it straight off, I can post a video on my channel to show you if you like. Just let me know.

The mirror cover were from ebay (plastic portion) the passenger broken glass piece was ordered from the dealer
The only thing I cared about is removing the mirror.
