Got one and absolutely LOVE it. Super comfortable and very low seat height. I am 5 ft and can flatfoot it better than I could my Burgman 400 that it replaced.
My nearly father in law has one of thees, he bort it 3 yrs ago. It is the only one of his bikes I can sit on wiv my feet reaching the floor. He has 7 bikes, the big one is a goldwing honda wich is huge. His DN bike also has side an top boxes, wich make it a lot bigger. One day i hope he wil let me ride it, insted of the C90 he let me use.
i trike my honda dn-o1 with a tow pac. diy trike kit, because i have knee arthr...and it made a huge difference and real easy to handle. on two wheel the bike was a bit heavy, im 6ft.5in with weak knees but after i trike it, i can move this bike with 1 toe
If Honda made one of these with a manual clutch and raked out like the Fury, Id be all over it. Sounds crazy...sport fairings on a chopper-esque bike...but then I never claimed to be normal
One of the most stupid comparisons I've ever seen, absolutely nothing like driving a car (I own both) and hence attracted hardly any car drivers, oh apart from the similar storage space to a car...!
A very cool, rare and unique bike that rides like a dream. I'm planning on putting in 6K slightly blueish HID high and low beams which will add 3 times the beam width and length and will make it look even cooler. If you get a chance to ride one these unusual bikes, give it a go and you'll be impressed. Awesome.
Yep. It's name became an acronym for Do Not-0rder 1 by Honda salesmen and dealers. Nobody was ready for an automatic transmission motorcycle with polarizing styling. I do feel it gave birth to the CTX700 and 1300 bikes. I own a '15 700 manual and love it for what it is. A 65 MPG commuter for me. Others tour with them.
@@johnhutchison9782 Yup, flopped because it wasn't worth the sticker at the time ($15-16K). Brought back today it would definitely be a hit and better option than current DCT models.

+Kristen Ward - this is a pretty heavy bike. Do you feel that even at your size (given 5 ft tall), that the bike doesn't feel overwhelming??? Thx
Not overwhelming at all, since it is a very low seat height. Not all tippy like if you were sitting up high.
I just found out this bike exists...I have a burgman 400 as well and now I'm looking for one of these.
Stay Safe✌🏾
I'm same high. I'm female.
I love this bike.
You still have it?
I wish there's a second version of the HONDA DN-01
They do have that stripped down version of the Goldwing that looks good....

I hope so too because it's a very cool bike!
Жаль что их больше не производят(((

if it had more hp it would of sold
comparing it to a car is asinine.
WHO the hell gave this the green light. Thing flopped SO HARD.
It flopped because it wasn't worth the sticker at the time ($15-16K). The concept now would be bigger hit than current DCT models.
