The Skar having robot mode is because it based on Super-God Masterforce version of Doubledealer (where he was named Doubleclouder). In this series, Knok and Skar is actually a one person named Clouder who "wears" Knok suit when he disguised as autobot and Skars when he disguised as decepticon.
The place for the logo on his chest looks like an autobot symbol. In my opinion that’s the way to do it. And then you put decepticon symbols on the wings. This way you can hide the symbols in both botmode.
The skit at the end reminded me of a Clint Eastwood movie For A Fistfull Of Dollar More the men with no name thats Double Dealer playing both side against each other and Double Dealer right in the middle making money
On my list of things I expected to see when I got up this morning, there was absolutely no inclusion of "robot bird with massive wang". So... thanks for that!
Although I never came across Doubledealer in the show or the comics I remember my mum getting me the figure from a thrift store and for some reason it was always my favourite. For some reason it just felt like it was better quality and more impressive than a lot of the figures at the time

One of the best figures that I own! A fun quadchanger... quad... changer! Many a fig that are acechangers and highly unfun!!! FH... please do not make it any more of a habit to use stickers for details, though. Just saying. ;-)
While I do really like Doubledealer in general, I haven't picked up either version of this yet. I don't like the wings on either. I want one where the wings are the greenish color in vehicle mode which become the bottom of the wings in bird mode and have the purple color on the tops of the wings in bird mode which will be mostly hidden in vehicle mode. I don't think that would be difficult. Sure it will require at least one side of the wings to be painted but oh well. The only problem I could see other than the paint is still minor. It would make it so that the backpack of the Autobot robot mode is purple and the wings in the Decepticon robot mode green. The problem being that it should probably be the opposite way. But still, oh well. It's not like both G1 and ER Doubledealer don't already have purple backpacks due to the wings anyway. Regardless, the second robot mode is just extra anyway since the Decepticon robot mode is the bird. The missile truck is the neutral alt mode. It's the T30 figure that changes things. The robot mode is neutral. The tank is Autobot and the jet is Decepticon. This is changed again with the Earthrise figure having changeable allegiance sigil flaps on the shoulders. While the missile truck and the bird are both factionless. I just want them to make the wings "right". Then I'll purchase it.
