There aren't many concerts I haven't seen. I'd pay big $$ to see Wolf and his band. I love everything they've made...it's original and really great. I would know! love this
Same here. I had an old fart right beside me that put earplugs in. And he was about six foot five and about 65 or something. I was thinking dude if you can’t handle the first row then you need to get out of every one else’s way. It was an awesome concert! You could feel the music through your body and soul. I loved it so much!
@@gigitonsvajv That old geezer probably has been to hundreds, if not thousands of concerts in his lifetime, and those earplugs are probably the only reason he can still hear today. That's not just old man wisdom, that's science. It's not a matter of if you can handle it or not, because noise at those kinds of decibels is doing permanent damage to every unprotected eardrum within blast range of those speakers. I know the feeling of my ears ringing for the next two days after being in the pit, and it's added up over the years because my hearing sucks now. Also, I'm 6 foot 4 and I say fuck anyone who finds themselves standing behind me at a show, find a better spot if you don't like it! And if you can't move because it's an assigned seat, well then you should've bought better tickets. I'm not gonna sit in the back just because you're fucking short lol... us tall people already have to reach for everything for you haha
NOTHING here demonstrates ANY above-average skill when it comes to songwriting, musical virtuosity or stage presence. It's so incredibly AVERAGE and UNEXCITING. And if he had a different last name, we wouldn't be having this conversation. (And most of the time I share this opinion, people like to get really angry, claiming I "owe Wolfie some respect."😅)
You're not wrong. He's definitely riding the reputation of his father, and he's definitely good, but not phenominal at any of his instruments. I guess my question though is, who cares? It's fun music.
What's the difference among hundreds of current grunge rock bands and Mammoth WVH...absolutely nothing. Clearly, Wolfie learned nothing about music while being raised by and under his incredibly brilliant virtuoso guitarist and world-famous Eddie Van Halen!
AGREED!! I remember some Van Halen fan getting ANGRY with me because I said that Wolfgang's music is really GENERIC and BORING. He told me that he's a BIG fan of Wolfgang and I OWE the kid "respect." SO...I asked him: "Since you're such a big fan, can you name me FIVE songs by Wolfgang?" He named one song and then was silent.😅
Yeah...it's sad watching all these simps cream over this guy just because of who is dad was. Wolfgang's music is some of the most generic, uninteresting rock to get a major release in a long while. It's just not very good.
It's crazy how he plays every instrument on his albums but has musicians on tour. You could really add Gary Cherone to this as an added dueling singer and it would be good. Both Extreme's new album and Wolfgang's have a similar sound. That heavy poppy bass and guitar and drums.
Gary Cherone contributed further to the ruining of the Van Halen brand-name. I remember fans who were fed up with years of Hagar saying to me, "I thought Sammy was the worst thing that happened to Van Halen...and then Cherone came in and made the worst Van Halen album EVER!"... That said, Wolfgang's music isn't even a tenth as good as his dad's music, so I guess Cherone couldn't really make things any worse.
This music is really UNexciting, Wolfgang has NO stage presence, there is NOTHING UNIQUE about his generic songs, NOTHING about the music shows any real virtuosity... How on Earth is he demonstrating his dad's DNA through his music? Eddie Van Halen was a genius. If Wolfgang had a different last name and grew up in a different house, nobody would be bothering with him.

It’s gotta be difficult to play those runs and sing at the same time. Kudos to Wolfie!

anyone else love the name Wolfgang
Is that a DG 335?
saw them in San Jose and LA, they did a great job, my issue are the lame "rock fans" who show up late to the show and no they did not block me

Wolfgang Amadeus Van Halen
Great song, but minute 3:27 a lick!!!

Lame
How's it feel to always be the fly in the Vaseline... The cockroach in the dinner plate. Must suck to be the world's most hated an unqualified critic.

This is you keep up the good work.🎸🎛️👍
Really? How does this generic garbage carry on the Van Halen tradition in ANY WAY?
