  • Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel for another video. Today I want to share my thoughts on the promo photos for the InArt Superman from BVS Dawn of Justice. Further more I want to propose the following question, is it fair to compare the InArt Superman to previous version of the Hot Toys Superman as people are doing in the community? Is the age gap between the figures enough to compare or is it unrealistic to do? We are going to go through the InArt photos, give you my thoughts and look at some photos from Hot Toys along with the movie stills.

Let me know in the comments below your thoughts overall and is it fair to compare? See you in the next video!

Angry sculpt looks like a roided out Agent Smith.

It is fair. Especially the black suit. Sometimes HOT TOYS can be lazy and just spit out the same head-sculpt. If anything INART will push HOT TOYS. However, I love the HOT TOYS BVS & JL Superman. I hope that this will push the level of quality. I am going to get INART Superman. However my excitement level is low and by the time INART gets this to me the new Superman will be on the screen.

    its completely fair to compare

Honestly it's fair, black suit superman just came out and they didn't bother to update the headsculpt. Same sculpt from years ago. There is collectors like myself that likes the zs line of figures and want accurate representation

Even though the Hot Toys one is a very nice figure with no doubts but im leaning towards the Inart version and may sell my Hot Toys one just because so i can have the money for the Inart. Just me personally

As long as you’re able to buy both of them on the market, you should compare them.

Ok I'd say the new inarts is taking advantage of time . Hot toys has dropped some awesome new head sculpts but have lacked in other departments. Doc Brown bttf1 and 2 just saying. As well as super girl what the Ham is going on . The Andrew Garfield as well but at least we got one . I'd love to grab a the Reeves Super man .

Not a big fan of BvS but I can now hardly wait for their WW figure.

The great thing about collecting is we as collectors want the best interpretation of characters we love…in order to be the best, you have to compare different companies that do high end characters ….I am excited to see how this turns out…we already were comparing The Batman line both InArt and HT have created😂

I think it’s a really good idea to compare tbh. I’d even go so far as to say it’s vital for collectors as you may find pros and cons for the new and older figures. I did a comparison recently with Bespin Luke - slightly different scenario I know as both releases are Hot Toys, but the time difference between releases was very significant (11-12 years) and manufacturing techniques and technology have undoubtedly changed over that length of time. I found there were many things to like and dislike about both releases so I definitely think comparisons have value👍🏻 Excellent video, keep up the great content mate 👌🏻😎

Hey man, great video and I appreciate the fair assessment. Each critique was met with a sound argument. I prefer hearing that versus something similar to "figure bad".

Awesome thoughts bro! Glad we have options. I have HT but we will see what happens when Inart finishes

Yall in the comments should keep the same energy when folks compare the HT joker proto with inart joker final. I dont wanna hear no double standard BS of proto vs final. Keep it straight and dont be flip floppy

I'm not big fan of the hot toys version. They should update it for sure. Inart looks better but still needs more work as well. I think movie impressions so much better so I would go by that

Great vid. IMHO it’s a fare comparison as HT recently reused the mold for the Justice League 2 pack.

when a high end Marvel Legends branch makes a DC character....😂.... Inart tries to nail the sculpt on their first try and delivers...how many times would collectors pay until ML-HT is done with their sculpting experiment of the same character...but....but at least now we have options...
