    Kay l love your videos and think you're a lovely woman, but please add some flavouring to your food! Also, fry your mince off (after boiling even, if you really insist on boiling it) with garlic and onion then add a stock cube, some paprika, herbs and a dash of soya sauce! It will make all the difference. Keep cooking and smiling. 😃

    My wife and I used to fry our mince before we discovered you're supposed to boil it!

    Another brilliant post brexit meal, lots of love!

    6:14 I'm sorry, but did Lee say the pepper was a bit spicy? Bell peppers are rated 0 out of a possible 16 million on the Scoville scale. 16 million Scoville units is the absolute spiciest anything can be, and 0 means there is absolutely ZERO spiciness in it. I'm so confused now, because bell peppers aren't spicy _AT_ _ALL_! What was he tasting that he thought was a pepper?

  • @poketrainercurt6075

  • @danielgardecki1046

    I only cook simple things like beans on toast, noodles, pasta etc as my mum cooks the rest, but I've cooked a few curries before and you've just given me a tip.
    I've always chopped the pepper up long ways so takes ages fiddling about getting rid of all the seeds etc. and never once thought about chopping the top off to make it quicker and easier. I'm gonna be doing that from now on.

    Kay please read my comment: in all of your videos you have trouble with mince meat. This is because you keep cooking it before you use it (here, in your meatloaf, and tons of other recipes). You need to stop doing that! You should have stuffed it into your peppers raw and then baked until done. There's absolutely no reason to cook your meat beforehand other than making trouble for yourself. Just some advice.

    Lol. Bland..pepper is different then bell pepper..geezus...not the worst thing I've watched kay cook but do these folks know what herbs and spices are...boiled e c everything..Leelee the pepper was spicey? It's a friggin bell pepper bro! I'd hate to see him eat a jalapeño or serrano....

    Dear Kay, what a wonderful surprise. ya think its pepper but its actually meat. Can you stuff other things. i like bell end pappers. but i was wondering if i could stuff things like a big salty clam or split open gammon flaps. thanks so much. keep up the good work

  • @Maggieroselee
    @Maggieroselee 7 лет назад +5

    Why do you always boil your ground beef? Think we always brown it in a frying pan in the USA... Gives it more color and flavor is what I've been told. How does everyone else brown their 'mince'?

    • @Maggieroselee
      @Maggieroselee 7 лет назад +2

      I wondered if boiling all meat instead of browning was a UK cooking method...I can't think of ever boiling meat unless it's being used in the stock. so you keep all the liquid with all the flavors in it for the end product.

    • @johexxkitten
      @johexxkitten 7 лет назад +4

      Maggieroselee NO we definitely do NOT all boil meat. I have never eaten nor cooked "boiled" meat... with the exception of a ham which is then browned and glazed in the oven.

    • @Maggieroselee
      @Maggieroselee 7 лет назад +2

      Kay, you should split some recipes, make 1/2 with boiled meat and the other 1/2 with sauteed meat and see which your son prefers..

  • @deedeesnow3507

    Cooking something such as stuffed peppers, you don't need to cook the meat before, if you mix all the ingredients together in with your raw meat and THEN stuff the pepper , cook it low temp and slow it will come out tender and super moist every time!!!!!!

      Hi Kay! That's right, we watch your videos every day and we especially love watching you make desserts. My favourite cake is Battenberg cake because the slices look so nice with colourful squares and because of the jam and marzipan icing. I have never made one but I thought you could show us how to do this recipe - it says it is easy.

    Fantastic video and a great thumbnail to boot. I signed into youtube and for a moment thought you'd cooked me tea!
    Kay, I would love to see you make an edible 'Tracy Island' (like the one made famous by Blue Peter in the 90s). This could perhaps be made with mash (with green/brown food colouring) and a load of leftovers, i.e an old cariot would make an excellent Thunderbird 3.
    Thanks
