I love the way Beethoven ends pieces. Get soft, pause like there's going to be something more, then two quick blasts and its over. You never quite expect the ending, but you always know once it's happened!
I have heard from some sources that Beethoven wrote this allegretto in the same notebook as his fifth piano sonata and thus maybe thought of this as a minuet or scherzo movement for that sonata before ultimately having it published as a separate piece. I have also heard that the Bagatelle in C minor WoO 52 was also originally planned to be used as a scherzo for the sonata.
@@caterscarrots3407 really interesting, thank you! I wonder why Sonata No. 5 doesn't have any Menuet/Scherzo now. Maybe three movements are better for this work

Semplicemente fantastico
Little Einsteins brought me here.
From ‘the Christmas wish’ so much memories from that episode.
1:29 - 1:33 This is funny, I composed the exact same thing without knowing this piece
Wow
Sounds like a menuetto for Sonata No. 5
This piece has composed in 1796...
The "little Pathetique" has only 3 movements and there isn't menuetto
@@PEDRO_boaro Yes I know, but it reminded me of this Sonata, so I thought maybe he thought of a Menuetto for it
