    You could almost call the era between Classical and Romantic the Beethoven era! He revolutionized music and changed it forever. Pure genius as this magnificent performance.

    What I love about this playing is that it has emotion, you not only connect to Beethoven but the pianist as well. A superb job and a pleasure to listen too, this is how I imagine Beethoven to have played it.

    How sad to see such a wonderful performer playing without an audience.

    The combination of Beethoven's genius and the pianist's delicate and successful interpretation leave me in suspense, Well done, infinitely good! Thank you.

    What a beautiful interpretation! You’re just playing this sonata so perfectly!

    Exquisite Beethoven-playing of this rarely performed sonata. Robert Neumann is both, a deeply intellectual artist, and a poet.

    Beethoven wrote this sonata when he was 13 years old. The first movement is pivoting to the later first movement from his famous Pathetique Piano Sonata.

    Excellente interprétation...Maturité certaine...Au service du génie de Beethoven qui n'avait que 13ans quand il a composé cette sonate... ( Excellent interpretation... Certain maturity... In the service of the genius of Beethoven who was only 13 years old when he composed this sonata...)

    This young pianist produced totally new Beethoven Sonata world. We never knew before. And that perfectly new Beethoven thanks to Robert Neumann' s musical originality and his own genius. I simply fall in love with his sound of soul and heart

    Where did the cadenza at 2:40 come from? It's not in any of the scores I've seen!

    • @marinsmesnoi4465
      @marinsmesnoi4465 4 года назад +4

      Then it must be a cadenza composed or improvised by RN, as Beethoven himself often did in concert.

    Mr Neumann certainly inserts some passion and drama into what is really quite a bland predicatable and tuneless piece of Beethoven juvenilia, overall I really enjoyed this very much, the amazing piano added much and he really brought out the dark and the light with some very beautiful moments. I might give the 7 sonatinas more attention rather than just treating them as sight reading exercises or using them as a precursor to the opus 49 sonatas for pupils.

    Beethoven liked Muzio Clementi, which this reminds me of.

    which sonata is this in opus numbers?

    • @kovacsmihaly
      @kovacsmihaly 3 года назад

      This piece has no opus number, i hear it for the first time. From opus numbers there are only 2 f minor sonatas, the first and the 23th (appassionata).

    • @kovacsmihaly
      @kovacsmihaly 3 года назад

      He composed it when he was 11-12 years old, maybe that's why it has no opus number
