Nice little video once again .Lovely to see how green it is over there and such a peaceful little spot to chill out in👍. The hawk was the icing on the cake. ATVB from a very warm and sunny Malaysia🇲🇾🤠
Morning Rob how you doing..great video as always.. I got some of those fire lighter things the other day as well when it cools down I,LL give them ago . Thanks for sharing ATB Sam 👍
Well, they looked like they did the job! Im spoiled, though. For the same price, i can get 2 12oz bottles of methylated spirits, so its hard for me to justify using another cooking method. Plus i like the fact i can cook indoors as well as outdoors 😂
What about if you stuck just one of those in the center of the vertical stack of twigs in the Tomshoo gassifier stove and used it as a starter for a top-lit burn? Would it be an adequate starter?
Another great video . Thankyou . I truly enjoy these videos John
Thanks John. Great to know you really like the channel. Cheers mate. ATB.

Interesting, thanks for sharing, nice lunch also
Thank you for watching the video. Can’t beat a spam sandwich.
Hi, Rob, great video mate, I will be given those firelighters a go
Cheers mate. They worked well with the spam. Almost too well.
Worked like a treat, what a great idea. Love a spam butty 👍
Thought I'd have spam because if it didn't work I could've had it cold.

Thanks Sam. And for £2 for 24 its cheap as chips. I'll be getting more next time I'm at asda. Always good to have things like this on hand.
Yes there alright works perfectly with that stove.
I might not have needed so many either to begin with.
I thought that.@@robtherover
Thanks for the heads up I will be giving them a try seems to be a good substitute for hexy etc
Yeah give em a go. Works pretty good I think.
I like experimenting with different methods of cooking, I'll definitely give this a go
@@LezleysAdventures yeah try it. I’ll definitely be using it again. They work well with my cheap mini wood stove. They’re just the right size.
@@robtherover well I do have a mini twig stove in my collection 😂😂😂 they would probably work in an esbit 🤔
@robtherover and just looked my tesco doesn't have them 😠
@@LezleysAdventures these ones were from Asda if you have one near you. In the BBQ section.
@@LezleysAdventures I might try them in my BCB stove. Might be interesting to try.

@@chado_outdoors yeh you wouldn’t want to cook indoors with these that’s for sure.

Good idea Robert. Will have to try that.
Surely if you put them in the other way around they would have burned upwards therefore being quicker and hotter?
@@hugokeys602 good idea. Worthy of a go sometime.
