Ahh good times :)
The PS1 start-up honestly be makin' me feel a certain way. Shit hits the heart.
Spyro the Dragon, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid, Medieval, DIno Crysis, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Tenchu, Driver 1, Tekken 3, Crash Bandicoot, Soul Reaver, Ape Escape, Gran Turismo, Silent Hill, Tony Hawk Pro Skater....
Oh the memories :)
I've only played two of those out of them all, Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. Wish I could've played Resident Evil and Dino Crysis, also.
i cried reading this
You literally mentioned every title i loved, especially gran turismo and spyro, still playing after 13 years, trying to discover new stuff or bugs (in spyro)... Ah, can't belive i was scared of those big rhynocs at sunny villa, but then again, I was 6 years old then!

Never mind, no rayman, digimon world and ace combat on your list
Back from the 30th...how time flies...
I get goosebumps every time I see this. Definitely one of the most kickass intros ever.
this is my alarm. when I hear this, I wake up with power.
lololloloollolloll
I so knew someone was gonna make this joke :)
Alarm?
Temujin 999.99 Indeed lol
soon you will just hate it
This at night scared the hell out of me. Good times.
No idea why, but I thought this intro is scary too, but "scare" wasn't ending at intro, I felt it even when I was playing my favourite game, Spyro 3, I honestly don't know why, I just thought its scary game with all these bad rhynocs, hehe
The scary part was waiting to see if the PlayStation logo came up when playing a game with a scratched disc.
Yeah, that too, you are reading in my mind :p
December 3, 2024. Happy 30th anniversary to the PlayStation.
no puedo explicar con palabras lo que significò ese precioso sonido en mi infancia.
Is this the so called "eargasm"? I feel like it is
somewhat yes

That "What?!?!" feeling when your PS5 restarts after today's system update.
It's 2019 and it's still the best intro ❤️
Agreed.
And forever will be.
Even in the year 3421.
That and the Windows 98 sounds were my jam
in all fairness i like Saturn's better, specially the Japanese one
This sound brings me cry, so much memory
These are legendary sounds
I was shocked when I turned on my PS5-haha!
So nostalgic.
Happy 30th Anniversary, PlayStation!
The nostalgic sound of the late 90's
If this doesn’t give you nostalgia I don’t know what will
Death.
probably millenials
Now imagine seeing it back in 1995, after SNES and Sega MegaDrive. This was like entering the new era. I'll never forget the first time I saw this startup screen.
Or even back in 1996.
The PlayStation 1 Startup makes me laugh 🤣
I remember getting my PS1 in 1996, Gran Trismo & Twisted Metal
30 Years of PlayStation today. Thank you for the memories!
it was always like being beamed into the gaming world like
"welcome to paradise please have a little patience while being teleported"
That's an awesome way to look at it.
newer consoles take longer to load up lol
Damn thats the same way I feel it
Reminds me of such a simpler time. Still my favorite console.
dude i miss when starups in consoles were a thing now all the consoles just go bloop im on
back then it was A M O M E N T
well, consoles now are about to launch and get into game asap
@@SandeMC i dont like that :( doesnt get you excited
@@lucasvidsXD you don't need loading at this point because SSD can load a console in seconds and if you just disable it like always it just goes to sleep so you barely see loading screen.
this was a hidden loading screen tho...lol
@@fosspointer System is loading while that intro pops up.
Hearing this on a home theater setup when PS1 was mainstream was an ultimate eargasm. Best video game console intro of all time.
Nostalgic sound BUT back to my childhood, it was scary.
Soo true, idk why
Same, bro
Same honestly , this is like jumpscare for kids
I once got in trouble for trying to play Playstation at 12am but forgot the volume on the tv was extremely high and I woke up everyone in the house....good times.

Au revoir Mr Tohru Okada, cette intro a bercer une bonne partie de ma jeunesse (et même à près) sur ma petite Playstation.
Tears rolled not only from my eyes, but from my heart.
What a fuuucking awesome '90s, they will never die!!!
This sound brings tears to my eyes, and of course, so many memories. the wolrd w never be the same.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. One of the greatest recorded sounds ever forged by man.
i remember being a kid in the late 90's and early 2000's when i would go to my friend's house to play games like Driver 2, Tomb Raider, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 (my favorite) among many others. He had a tiny TV set like 14" screen or something and a sony stereo with big speakers where he would plug his ps1 audio in. So this cool, booming, rich sound effect reproduced so many times really got stuck in my head. Listening to this brings me back to my childhood days in a second.
that sound literally makes me emotional for all those hours that console has sucked out of my life. and i have ZERO regrets!
Same I heard the intro and brought a smile to my face those were great times
Que gratos recuerdos me trae este sonido... mi juventud y muchas muchas cosas buenas de su epoca!!! =')
Ken kuteragui gracias a el
Omg nostalgia! That intro was always so scary to me O.o
This sound is nostalgia
I wasn't even born in the 90s but it already makes me feel nostalgia and the 90s was the best era
