As a rookie flyer myself, my most "ALMOST" crashes are all from Pilot error and confusing the sticks movement in a panic.....soon will be muscle memory. Glad it didn't cause catastrophic damage!
When I finally found it in the snow, I was expecting the worst. I still get the sticks backwards too. I wasn't expecting the return to home that quick.
You gotta practice in big open areas or go above the trees. Practice is were its at probably 80% of crashes are pilot error just not knowing how the drone works or reacts. Use your screen more instead of watching the drone. I only watch the drone if it's close and I need to get thru some trees or some sort of obstacle. Practice, practice, practice and trust your drone.
I just knew you destroyed it but after seeing the minor damage after a major crash it just made me appreciate the quality and durability of my drone.
Yes!! I felt the same way. But that feeling when you see your drone go full speed into a tree trunk, not good... I was lucky
Sorry about your crooked gimbal, I love the Mini 2. I hope all turns out well for you. well done video. thumbs up

Appreciate the feature my man! You did some great marketing for DJI here... after I saw the footage and the beating it could take they got my money...
Nice.. hope to see some drone video from you in the future
@@mrmtruckermax2 Make sure you have those notifications on for my channel then 😉
Most definitely
Did you try gimbal calibration on the menu?
No I didn't.. didn't even know that was a thing. Will check that out. Thank you!!
Hey you might want to try and recalibrate the Gimbal and IMU to see if that will fix it :)
Yeah, another viewer mentioned the calibration.. I'm gonna give that a shot. I appreciate the help.
Yes, it's the gimbal calibration. Did the same after a crash. It will work
@@giuseppeonorato4952 thank you for the confirmation.
