Hi! I liked your tutorial videos on how to make a website, they were informative! Just a small question, which would you prefer to use more: Wix or Wordpress? What would be the best site to use for a beginner like me?
I personally prefer Wordpress. They've been around longer and there's tons of documentation. If you choose to go the paid route and start paying for your service, I'd give a serious look to Squarespace as well. They're sites are extremely easy to build and maintain, and are very fast.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply.
A. on the free level both option can be a creatively limiting (depending on your definition of creativity), meaning there isn't much control over the look of your site. However, being confined to a certain template is a great exercise in making creative content to fit the format. If you enjoy the challenge, you can have a lot of fun.
B. Wix free accounts are free indefinitely. Neither Wix nor Wordpress set a time limit on free accounts.
C. I feel that Wordpress is more scalable and flexible once you move into the paid tier or self-hosting options.

Hi Aḓivhaho Ramaite, I've tried and tried to figure this out, but it looks like the Free version of Wix does not support submitting your site to Google!
