You are most welcome. Thank you for your comment. I haven't flown them much, and I still have the kit to convert one to a Scout X8. Been occupied with my heli collection and some scale fixed wing Warbirds and Jets.
Hi Brian, hope all is well mate :)i have a little problem, I changed out my servo to emax and now the Heli wobbles. lose right servo two days ago while landing, thankfully it didn't crash.
Hmm.I would have advised against doing that. Any reason? Did you break one or 2? They are still available at Banggood. www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Walkera-V450D03-RC-Helicopter-Spare-Parts-Servo-WK-09-9-HM-V450D03-Z-24-p-58731.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN. As they have diffenrt throws etc. You would need to retune your radio at least. But the FC might still give you problems. Its configured for the Walkera Servos e.g. PPM centre, end points and speed. If you still want to use those servos you might want to try the Gyro gain as well. As a p.s. You must have all 3 cyclic servos the same (Identical)
@@brianroberts5062 Yeah one stop working, I wasn't going to do it for this very same reason lol but i did,im now thinking my gain on the Devo 10 might need turning down, also the devo 10 setup was from you on the form :)
Hi There, Many Thanks for the nice Video . Could you please send me your TRansmitter setting. I have also the same Heli with Devo 7 from Banggood. But unfortunatey its not working well out of the box. It is not smooth like yours. I think there is Devo 7 setting problem. I will be very thankfull to you for your help. Many Thanks Sam

@@brianroberts5062 Hi BRian, so i now i need ur hep for setup my Devo 7 just like your's. Can I also setup directly in devo without UP02 tool becauser unfortunately i don't have this tool.
Hi Brian, I also got this heli but sometimes when I take off or landing it will get vibration at some spinning point on the ground. I already replaced all the parts that may cause the vibration but the problem still remain. Is ur heli got the same problem?
I have 5 of these and none have this issue. So can you answer these questions. Did you have a tail strike? Have you modified the default devo 7 settings? Have you tried to adjust the Gyro on the Flight controller? Has it always done this? What happened prior to this issue. e.g. tail strike etc. Also vibration on the ground is normal if the ground is not level.
Hi Brian so im close to buying it now,do you recommend replacing servos, i was told some horror stories of servo failing :( but i really wanna get it,i was even thinking of running an external BEC to see if that would help servos.
Servos are fine. It's the Walkera Master Cp that has servo issues they are plastic gear and will fail on a heavy landing. There are Metal gear services made by Walkera for replacement upgrades..
@@xboxice2005 You must have all 3 cyclic servos the same. Brand and model. You are seeing the performance differences of the servos. Thats why its wobbling around.
Wow worried about him flying inside. I have a 150, 250, 450 and 650 and have flown them within 3 feet of me... If you know what your doing and you equipment is up to par there is now worries.... Guess the real heli pilots need to shut down while fire control is outside... wait how would the crank up???? Dad 32 years Army heli pilot instructor and test development
Knowing my luck during hover, bloody dog would jump up on me n id get decapitated. Ona serious note, nice control pal but 1 mistake could easily put you in hospital as a bare minimum. Way too close for a 450 size heli.
That just makes you concentrate. lol. Flying this and other helis in the kitchen my biggest stress moments is when the wife walks between me and the heli. I keep warning her not to do that but she trusts my flying. Silly girl. The up and down motion I get is from the airco duct that is directly above where I was flying. That adds a bit more to the challenge but no cross wind helps to make it easier. Flying my mini Helis in the same place my cat trys to swat them down. He is smart enough to not try that with anything larger. Thanks for your comment.
Just look at his face , that smile says it all
that's why i want one :)
Brian, I know this video is now 4 years old. Hope you are well and still flying your Walkera X4 Scout. Thanks for your help over the years.
