My heart breaks for dear Mexico. A beautiful country with beautiful people. But good governance is a requirement. The people deserve it!!!

Nothing stays the same; e.g. corruption is either increasing or decreasing, as with everything in life. So if we ignore corruption because it's "somewhere else" - eventually it will affect us all. The US and Canada are unintentionally enabling the increase in corruption in Mexico. And the subtle pressure on them to become more corrupt is increasing steadily -- enabled by voters who pay little attention....

Instead of spending $ on shipping refugees across the US, $ should be spent on funding Mexico’s fight against gangs. Use our military equipment for this instead of peaceful protests incountry.

Not 'unintentionally'. It is part of the plan.

The commodity of Al Jazeera to interview a very comfortable Mexican journalist our of the so called dangerous country ... Please Al Jazzera
you can do better by selecting a better English spoken journalist from Tijuana at least.

I'm Mexican. This woman is not putting thinks in context. For the first time we have a president that is loved by most people. He's really working hard to lift people from poverty, and it's working. The drug cartels and criminal gangs are still targeting journalists sadly, but she can absolutely NOT say that this government targets journalists. The president responds to daily attacks by the right wing media on his daily conference, but there has NEVER been more freedom of expression in Mexico. I'm deeply disappointed in how Anabel is trying to smear the first left wing president we have and that is deeply loved by 70% of Mexicans.

No, she's right. But president fanatics like you seem to be are unable to understand any legitimate criticism of the president and think that it's necessarily coming from the right. Which is absurdly simplistic

Anabela Hernandez has lost her credibility as a journalist in México, when she recently changed her political views and became conservative. She lost the respect of the majority of her followers. Sorry for being honest!
