this video was so easy to follow! The way you explain makes the watcher feel as if they are sitting on the couch being taught by a friend! Thank you! Finally tutorials made and explained by "real" people not robots!
I hope you are still reading your comments. I found this pattern 6 years ago and have made it over and over again with all different yarns and hook sizes. It is my favorite scarf pattern. Whenever I have yarn that I don't know what to make with it, I make this pattern. Thanks again for sharing it. I hope all is well with you and that you are still crocheting!
I don't know why anyone would give you thumbs down you did a fabulous job and I was able to follow it very easily I love the pattern! Thank you so much please post more things to crochet!
I absolutely appreciate your creativity in making this video and your crochet pattern. I appreciate that there is no crocheting the ends together, eliminating the seam many crochet scarf patterns have. I will be making more scarfs for Christmas gifts this year. Thank you for sharing.
I am back again to remind myself of this pattern, starting another...I have referred this pattern to so many and have made so many myself...Just the best!
Love this scarf! Just made it today for myself. Can't wait to wear it. Going to be making a lot more of them for my family and kids and friends. Thanks for the great video.
Jennifer wanted to thank you for this tutorial. I recently have started crocheting again after suffering from a severe case of "tennis elbow." I was unable to crochet for a couple of years. My elbow has gotten better so I hopped on youtube and searched for a video and your's caught my eye. I have two 15 year old daughters and I am having so much fun crocheting this scarf for them and all of their friends! Thank you so much!
Love this stitch, I have already made 2 Boho Sheek scarves, and am working on a 3rd. What I like about it is it makes the bargain yarn feel soft and stretchy. Thank you for sharing!
I am so glad that you pointed out that you go into two stitches when you crochet. I've watched others and they don't say one way or the other but it usually appears they go through one stitch. Bottom line, this lets me know either way is acceptable. Like you, I prefer to go into both stitches. Thanks for this video. Got to make one!
I love this stitch and used it to make a scarf and matching beanie that eventually ended up being my son in laws favorite. I'm using it to finish up the last 10 chemo beanies I'm making for charity. Thank you for this tutorial.
So far so good. I think I'm going to like it. Making it for my daughter. This will be the 4th scarf I've made her. All different colors and all different stitches. She always loves them.
So glad to find this video again. Found it a couple years ago and made aScarf and connected it with a fancy dress pin .l I was looking for it today found two that call today butterfly stitch and then I found this one then I remembered it was you where I got my pattern from. Thanks for sharing it lovely stitch
I just found this video a few days ago and loved the look of this pattern! I had to try it, but had to wait a few days until I could get the yarn. So just finally starting it today. And wanted to thank you Jennifer Jerome for your instructions! They are so clear and easy to follow! I am only on round 2 and can't wait for it to be finished so I can see what it looks like! Thanks again, you are a great teacher!
Thank you for the scarf. I am making it. I will send you a picture when I finish. I think it is a great scarf I am making for someone, and looked at a lot, and this is the best one yet!
Love this pattern, it's so easy and just beautiful when finished! Have used multi colored yarns as well and they turn out nicely. Love This Yarn or Red Heart Soft are great for this scarf.
I absolutely LOVE this pattern! It is so easy and such a gorgeous stitch. I teach a crochet class at the Senior Citizens Activity Center (I volunteer) and some of my beginner ladies have made this scarf with no problems at all. I made several last year for family members and gifts for the ladies at church. And again this year I am making more. Thank you so much! This year I am using this stitch to make matching hats. they turned out beautiful!
Jennifer, just wanted to say thank you..your instructions for me are easy to follow. I just love this stitch and design...I've made two scarfs using this pattern and i'm in the process of crocheting another one. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Wishing you and your family a Blessed Merry Christmas.
Greetings from PA. Just got back into crocheting and found this video. You are so thorough and clear. I absolutly love the look of the scarf. So of course I had to subscribe to someone who explains things clearly. I look forward to your other videoes.
Jennifer. This is my favorite scarf to make. I just started crocheting and i love this. I have made so many and its cool enough for my funky friends!!!!
I just want you to know that I appreciate this video of yours showing us how to do the extra extended single crochet. I've made several scarves from this tutorial because it was so much easier to understand. :))
I absolutely love, love, love this pattern! I first say it about a month ago and I have made several; for myself and my daughter. I made long ones, as well as medium length ones . I used this same pattern to make headbands to match, and ear warmers. Tomorrow I will teach the senior citizens in my crochet class how to make it.
Been searching for an easy tut on making a cool scarf and the few i had found were confusin as crazy so i kept searching until i found your video and now im making my very own cowl scarf!
About going under the two strands versus one like you see some people do, you aren't weird. That's how I was taught and how most instructions tell you to do. I really love this scarf and look forward to making one. Thanks for the upload.
It’s been so many years that you made this video. But it’s the vary first time of seeing this video. I’m defiantly going to make something with this stitch. Like a baby blanket or something..... love 💕 it so much
This is very easy and something, and pretty, and can be done in a couple of hours. Thank you for sharing this with us. I appreciate it, since it's the day before Christmas Eve, and I wanted to wear it on Christmas Eve. Happy Holidays, and all the best for the New Year!
Great pattern, thanks for sharing. I tried this both ways...traditional one strand over the hook vs the two strand method you use. Your method makes that stitches stay in place better. The scarf turned out great!
I'm so glad I found this... I tried Love4Nails' version and got confused at the end. But it does appear to be the same. Thanks for taking your time. I think this is a wonderful stitch.
dawndiamonds I love this stitch and would so appreciate a tutorial for a blanket using this stitch. Love4nails does such pretty work and I learned to watch her instead of listening! She's so talented.
And thank you for that chain 4 on each round.. I kept getting that bump. That's where I was stuck, I didn't like that look But Love this scarf pattern😀 I am remaking my scarf today and it's coming along perfect.. Thank you again soooo much👍🏻🌸🌺
I am so glad I came across your scarf, I absolutely love this stitch !! I found one by Love4Nails and made that one first... It was so uneven and looked messy !! I swore if I heard this little loop on the hook counts as one stitch one more time, I was going to hang myself with my yarn !! Thank you for your proper crochet terminology and knowing how to show beginners to count their stitches correctly. I am starting yours tonight =)
So I'm watching this-- again!-- and starting another one so I have a project to stitch during Thanksgiving. Thought it's about time I THANK YOU for this video and pattern. I love it. I LOVE IT!!! I've made so many of these and they are my favorite gift. Finally making one for myself :) Thanks so so much and happy holidays to you!
Thank you so much for making this video I made an infinity scarf using Lion Brand homespun thick and quick and baby alpaca. I regret not using a method that gave some additional stretch. While it drape's nicely only two wraps one more wrap would make it snug.
Hi! I have made about 10 of these so far but the old way,bin a continuous circle..I am gonna make my next one like yours here, I think I prefer it..Thanks for the great tutorial!!
Thank you so much for this pattern. Its really simple but the first row is tricky. I advise to all here to use a bright color. I begun it with a very dark green and you barely see the stitches where to work in.
I made two of these and she is so right. .the pattern, gives a fabric quality...it has a lot of give.. stretch.. and would make an excellent top to wear if you know ho to sew
Hi Jennifer, I actually just finished an infinity scarf & I love yours so much I did it over & did yours!. Also thank you so much for having nice nails with a nice color, not gawdy at all. It distracts from the tut when it's gawdy. Also don't apologize for the squeak the hook makes sliding through the yarn. If anybody loves corcheting & knitting the way I do even the sounds of it I find comforting. ttyl J.J. I hope you don't mind that, I think it's cute. I always wished the letters of my name had a cute flow. : )
this video was so easy to follow! The way you explain makes the watcher feel as if they are sitting on the couch being taught by a friend! Thank you! Finally tutorials made and explained by "real" people not robots!
I made 5 of these, and people are still wanting me to make these. Great scarf. Big hit on Christmas gifts.
Same here, exactly!!!
I don't know why anyone would give you thumbs down you did a fabulous job and I was able to follow it very easily I love the pattern! Thank you so much please post more things to crochet!
Deb Campaniello well you just made my day. ty
I absolutely appreciate your creativity in making this video and your crochet pattern. I appreciate that there is no crocheting the ends together, eliminating the seam many crochet scarf patterns have. I will be making more scarfs for Christmas gifts this year. Thank you for sharing.
You did a great job. I'm a self taught Crocheter ( 3 years) and this video works for me.

I used LionBrand woolspun #5 bulky and made 5 different scarfs. It was so thick looking but no overly thick. Just right. People loved it.

Have made 4 Boho Infinity scarves; kept one & gifted the others. Love love the pattern!
Very good tutorial. I will use this stitch for my first infinity. Thanks
I made this and it worked up fast. I love it!!!
I should clarify. I didn't chain 240 or 260. I don't recall how many I chained but mine is a cowl rather than an infinity. I'll do an I infinity next😄
Love this stitch I made some neck warmers with this. Measure diameter of head with chainstitch add about 3 extra stitches. I made it about 7-8 wide.
Love that stitch..I've never seen it before..thanks
Beautiful scarf...Thank you for sharing it!!! xo
