I wish this show was still on. Loretta Devine and David Alan Grier really played well with/against each other.

Probably because of ratings. But I also think it was too honest and too smart.

Jerrod got into a conflict with NBC executives when they decided to move the episode about the mass shooting in the mall because a politician was shot at a charity baseball game around the same time. He spoke out publicly about it because he felt strongly that the episode should have been aired as scheduled.....then not too long after that it was announced that he and NBC decided to part ways. Gonna miss this show; I purchased all three seasons so I can watch them over and over.....

I miss this show. It was funny and not the typical "black show".
Tiffany Hadish was funny. This was before she was known.
I loved this show and how it tackled real topics but I couldn’t really stand Maxine and at time Jerrod. Maxine was a walking naive, judgemental, “spiritual,” know it all hypocrite and Jerrod could really be arrogant and just plain unrealistic.

It's not bad. But some of the jokes do fall flat. Now "Meet the Browns," THATS a bad show.
