It's so refreshing to see Gacha Smack not just tell people that they don't need her lc and e2, but he also goes out of his way to show off the most scuffed team comps that 0-3 cycling hardest content just to prove a point. I love it.
What? None of the team showcased here is "scuffed", even the F2P one. Smack already has Trend, Resolution S5, and GNSW S5. Basically, the gap to her signature isn't that big if you can already ult consistently every 2 turn and also have a high superimposition GNSW.
S5 gacha LC is honestly just as rare as a signature LC. I have played since day 1 and only have gnsw at s2 and no copies of pearls. Most of my other 4 star LC are also not maxed. Trend is at s1, motp is at s4 etc. Idk exactly how many pulls I’ve done on my account, but it’s over 1000, maybe closer to 1500. Thank god for Herta shop and 75/25 chance on weapon banners because if I relied only on gacha 4star lc my account would be very bad.
I understand the disclaimer in the beginning, but the banners are 3 weeks long, there's always a bunch of people on the fence whether to pull or not until the end and even some people who pull immediately are still looking for more info on the character they pulled. I really appreciate these insights even if they aren't out day 1, even this video came out just before the MoC round closes so people struggling might find something here that will help them to clear it. Keep it up Smack, there's always people down to listen to a good yap about something interesting even if it's a few days "late".
acheron, ruan mei, sustain welt and pela/sw works really well imo. easy survivability with welt sending wave back 3 cycles with ultimate and ruan mei break efficiency + ultimate sending them further back together with acheron colorless break. ruan mei and pela/sw should be able to generate a lot of sp. its also pretty f2p assuming you already pulled for ruan mei. i think it should be really comfortable both in terms of damage and survivability
Man, don't stress too much on not having those "early access" privileges. Rather than watching videos of characters I can't play either, I'd rather wait and get honest impressions from a thoughtful and well-spoken person who doesn't sound like they're trying to sell me something.
Like Brax said, they were never forced to say anything, they got early access to make videos on the character and any CC would take that opportunity, stop with the "They are getting paid to say only good parts" that's not true at all
I get where you're coming from, and I fall in to the same camp, but unfortunately the analytics and the money favour those who come out first/early. Gacha Smack and Mtashed are right to be concerned about this as it affects their livelihood. Your comment is valuable, though, as it shows what a great community Gacha Smack has.

The thing is, when I'm discussing any video games with my friends or co-workers, the way they speak (tone and excitement levels) sounds much more like Gacha Smack than most of the "early access" folks out there, and that makes a difference to me.

Anyone can offer HSR opinions and analysis, but Gacha Smack also provides fine examples of what it means to be a mature and responsible adult with a good sense of humor. I value that and I can see its positive effect on his community. That personally means much more to me than the ability to see character previews early.
Honestly I got acheron's lightcone just so she can feel better when using her with Sparkle/Pela/TB comp. I don't have nor do I want SW on my account so, I'll just stick to this until a better nihility comes out probably. Nice vid as always smack.
Smack you should use E2 Gallagher instead of Gepard! Gallagher's enhanced basic adds a stack for Acheron and surprisingly he sustains very well against Sam! Best thing is his healing is all flat Hp meaning you can invest all into break effect and speed
Not only that his healing is increased by 50% of his break effect capping at 75%. Which means at 150% b effect he's healing for a stupid amount constantly.
I got my first 0 cycle with the mommy team as well (Acheron, BS, Kafka, Ruan Mei). The best part is that I also achieve this on auto. All of them are e0s0 except for Ruan Mei sig LC. Literally my dream team come true. ps: also got full points 2nd half for the new PF on auto as well. This team comp is just broken on top of being only super hot mommies 🔥
Hell yeah. I'm the inverse because I got e2s1 kafka/e2s1 bs/s1 acheron, going for e2/e0, no sig lc Ruan Mei. I figured having her gain that extra sp would make the comp even smoother. Trying to get RM some spd upgrades so she always goes first to gain sp early and trigger kafak fua. With sig lc that would be 5 sp and 7 stacks on acheron. Would be an absolute menace 😂
As a f2p I kinda caved and went for Acheron LC 😅 But tbf I was on guaranteed and thought to myself; 'why not invest vertically on one character I like a lot?' Did some pulls and was lucky enough to get it at 40 pity. I'm not usually someone who likes to sweaty do 0 cycles, but I am always amazed at people who do it and goddamn Acheron hitting 1M on moc will always blow my mind. Btw; for Sam, if you want to break him out of that fire state faster, DHIL is the best bc every skill he consumes to do his enhanced basic attack will count as a stack.
Before the Tutorial Mission Starts light cone REALLY helps both E0 Silver Wolf's problems you mentioned though. Also I'm FTP and don't usually pull for sig lightcone but did so for Acheron and am glad I did especially that it came at only 25 pity, which is the total amount of pulls on LC banner since I started the game, and is a HUGE difference from my s2 gnsw and made her more comfortable to play. Made me wish I pulled Black Swan but I don't have Kafka so I had good reasoning. Idk whether to save for Aventurine or wait for Jiaoqiu. I have Luocha, Baliu, and Gepard as 5 star sustains.
For the sam tip with his 5 stacks it takes away 3 when u use danIL full auto attack but for qq it only takes away 1 despite consuming so many skill points
To beat sam F2P if you don't have Black Swan, I used Gallagher instead at lvl 70, with his talent at lvl 9, with a f2p healing build, it took me 5 cycles (changes with investment), but I finally beat moc 12, hope that helps if anyone needs it. Edit: I don't have Gepard so I used Sparkle with High investment instead with 157 spd with 206 CD
Decided to try pulling for her, but I lost my 50/50 again for the 4th time in a row and all at high pity.. Sigh.. 😞 Maybe I'll just save for Jingliu and wait for Acheron rerun, hopefully at that point I already have several GNSW, and more importantly win the 50/50.

It’s crazy that Acheron has no dedicated supports and is the best DPS right now, DHIL has sparkle and Jingliu has bronya (who isn’t a dedicated support but work’s really well with her and fixes her problem of being outside of her transcend state) Acheron only has pela and still rocks

Smack i love ur vids but the only thing that i dissagre with is the light cone debate i personally have a s1 sleep well and ive been here since release so since day 1 and if i dont have a s5 sleep well i dont think others that joined later have it maybe they do but its slim chance, so that 150k is more like 300 ish k which could be make a diffrence for some people cuz they cant get 160 speed, thats all brother still love your content tho!
Acherons technique description is 100% correct. She does not gain a stack of her talent when she uses it. She had 7 stacks at the beginning from breaking the trotter and from black swan’s technique. Under her HP bar you see a different buff that has 1 stack. That is her technique, and it gives her a talent stack after using ultimate. You also get these buff stacks from going over the 9 stack limit of her talent.
4:04 thats actually describing what quad itself does. Tech actually allows/states that stack of quad to be gained at the start of each wave. Its worded poorly and the phrase probably should been in a different trace. I think they just kind of ran out of space.
Agree with everything you said about team 3, I caught myself the other day running that exact team I run with pretty much the same level of investment as you, E0S1 Acheron, E0S1 Sparkle, E0 Silver Wolf with eyes of the prey(I started on the Playstation release so we don't have that tutorial LC) and E6 resolution Pela.. its a damage screenshot team setup.. but I've never advocated that team to any of my friends because it's extremely squishy and just feels super sweaty to play. I end up just replacing sparkle with Huo Huo and taking the dps loss in exchange for fun / comfortability lol. But I won't lie, the sweaty team does hit REALLY high. 😅
Glad to see someone giving the Acheron, BS, Kafka team some love. It's the only team I've been able to 0 cycle with, but a lot of people seem to think its pretty mid compared to Pela, SW. I'm sure there's some objective truth to that, but for me, it's the team that feels best to run with Acheron.
I mean, you could 0 cycle with just kafka and BS, so acheron is a little bit overkill to me, so it would work better in the second team to me, 1 cycle with kafka/bs, and 1/2 cycle with acheron pela/sw, because if not it would be like 0 cycle with kafka/bs/acheron and 6 cycle with ratio/silver wolf, obviously this is from my personal experience because i have no other hipercarry, just ratio, so it depends on how much characters you have
@Qdawwg true but even outside of moc, kafka fua is easily fulfilled with ruan mei with no real loss. At everyone e0, it's strong. With further investment it becomes so op its ridiculous.
With right set up you can actually break sam’s toughness bar during a 0 cycle and still ult twice with acheron. But for this to work you need s1 acheron lc and both pela and sw equipped with 165 wind set and ofc ruan mei to enhance your weakness break efficiency
I love that he actually showcases these relatable builds. I'm seriously gonna try these team comps later. I've been sleeping on Pela for a while now tbh.
For sustains, i found the best option to unironically be the Fire MC with Trend. You build her EHR-SPD-DEF-ER, and skill every turn. Taunt gives you stack, and every enemy who hit her gives another, i once got 4 stacks just from hits of ads.
Not entirely sure about team 1. Not saying that it doesn't work but just using a Tingyun or a Guinaifen/Sampo instead of Acheron would be better in that team for less investment.
Yeah it's really a team that just works for her, even if it isn't optimal. I 0-cycled that Svarog fight replacing Acheron with Guinaifen on a somewhat break build. I also did it with Asta, Tingyun and Gallagher lol. Only my Kafka has her s1 and no eidolons on the 5*s. It's really just that Swan, Kafka and Mei are already so strong together that the last character isn't as important. I think that Svarog side has lower HP overall too. Just like the Yanqing side on floor 12.
Maybe for Silver Wolf try changing your build to be a support focused one with high speed, EHR and ERR rope and drop the BE build if you think she needs E1 that badly. It would probably fix your core issue.
So glad you showed how amazing Black Swan is for Acheron. I felt like none of the other CCs were really noticing that the free charges from Arcana and Def shred from Skill were huuuge boosts. Even better is her Arcana applies when an enemy enters the field so it's free charges on Pure Fiction and if a boss spawns adds. BS E1 can also apply Lightning RES shred through her ult. For vertical investment BS E1 can also apply Lightning RES shred through her ult. Then there's Kafka's FuA adding a stack from characters that normally wouldn't. Personally my auto team for everything right now is HuoHuo, Kafka, BS, and Acheron. Amazing content as always GachaSmack.
I think the main thing that makes Acheron broken is the fact that theoretically she can ult multiple times in a single cycle. Just using MC fire with a Universal Market LC (Taunt count as debuff) can give her huge amount of debuffs to consume.
15:32 I can't do this though. Problem i have is, if i start with pela, i can get Acheron ult without even using any of my units at the first entry. But then i only have the debuffs active from techniques and the damage goes down with 200k if i were to just ult, instead of applying all debuffs first, but then i have the issue of acheron being too slow. Because my acheron can only go once.
Are you using the exact team shown in the part you timestamped? What cones are you using and what speed do you have on the rest of the team? If you have enough debuffs coming in from other teammates (and Dance Dance Dance on a Harmony unit, if you're using one), they battery her up quickly, which means Acheron can roll with attack boots no problem. Mine got her ult up in pretty good time at base speed, even before I got her signature cone. That said, nothing's wrong with using Pela's technique first, as Smack pointed out. As long as you can clear the content, you're chilling. o7
I really reallyy realllllyyyy love this vid. Not only i learnt something valuable about acheron team building in a more detailed insights, i got to learn that losing 1 50/50 to gepard also would increase his value in acheron team comp and i got to learn about Sam's attack pattern and his vulnerability debuff. I cannot put into words on how watching this 35 mins vid have saved my ass from feeling like i doesn't pull enough characters, or how I doesn't spend more time on building a character so they fell out of place... 100/10 detailed vid. Would c*m to this.
Yeah man, I used to tell people all the time that it's just fine having just a handful of dps, two sustains, and some supports built. Acheron is extra special in that her ult shreds toughness regardless, so if there's a floor where you have a weak matchup, she's got you covered. It also doesn't hurt to watch several guide makers for more perspectives, or in case someone mentions something that others don't. Then you can form your own meta based on your account. Good stuff!
I got lucky, got Acheron, got her LC AND S5 GNSW for my BS. I tried doing Acheron, Pela, SW and a sustain and had massive skill points issue. I don't think Adventurine is a must since I got FX but then 2.2 characters don't interest me much and 2.3 is prob Sam which I mean.....do I need more DPS if I got BS, Kafka, Acheron, JL etc?
Why no Guinafen ? or sw (with sustain) No fire mc or Galagher ? Would like to see a bit more relatable runs with tings we can easely get, nothing against BS and Gepard but I think there's other options that more players can relate and it'd be cool to get your opinion on the debuffers/sustains options

Thanks for the tip about Sam and for testing Acheron out with various team comps. Unfortunately I can't do any of them because I'm missing every 5* Nihility except Welt (who I also lost the 50/50 to on Acheron's banner. He's now at E3 🥲), so I'm looking forward to your f2p comp video with Sampo. I'd also love to see how well or badly she works with Welt. I'm worried the team comps I would be able to run would be too skill point hungry, and that her damage would drop a lot especially since I only have GNSW at S2. I'm going to look for a very f2p Acheron in my friend's list to see if I can try her out against some weekly bosses. I want to get a good idea of how she will perform on my account before I pull any further on her banner.
I fought Sam with Acheron s1/welt tutorial/pela pearls/fu xuan trends. I tell you what playing sustain Welt with Fu Xuan it felt like I had all the time in the world until Sam’s burning skill points. At that point it was like that song, “the heat is on”! Took 4-5 cycle
Mr Gacha! I have a question in regards to your "Only Eidolon on Harmony" Statement. What about Sustains? FX gives 30 CD, Aventurine gives 20 CD. Are they worth it as they will/should also be there for most runs the player does? Since the logic, or at least from my standpoint remains the same. They provide team damage and are always there, but Im not sure if 30CD is as good as what harmony brings. Ruan Mei is 20% Def shred, Sparkle e1/e2 are phenomenal, etc Quick Edit; Serval is Erudition, would that really be better than a Nihility Sampo? Since the damage mod from trace is kind ofa big deal
I just recently picked up HSR again and was wondering what a viable team would be for Acheron as I dont have any of the latest characters. Last time I played was during Kafka banner. I did a couple of pulls on Acheron banner and actually got her on my 2nd 10pull
Depends on who you have, but off the top of my head- Acheron, FMC/Gepard, Pela, another Nihility unit works. If you don't have another Nihility unit, then a Harmony unit aside from Tingyun (or healer, especially Gallagher) works well enough o/
@@luciainvicta5553 Yep, that absolutely shreds. Debuffs from all party members for fast Acheron ults, defense reduction specifically for even more damage. If by chance you have SP issues, you can make Gallagher fast and/or give him Multiplication so he can get more turns to basic attack. If I wasn't lazy and didn't like using Welt/Gepard so much, I'd be using Gallagher!
Got my first zero cycle using Acheron to finishing the previous MOC12 before it ended. Acheron, Pela, 160 spd Sparkle and Ruan Mei / Huohuo. Worked better with Ruan Mei but needed her for the 2nd fight, so kept zero cycling the first fight while I worked on 2nd.
I blown up by Acheron’s performance in Gold and Gears with Erudition path. Even with all my experience with propagation and DHIL, I didn’t expect that enormous numbers
Can you do a video that demonstrates the importance of stats over sets? I've gotten into numerous arguments on Discord over what's really the most important. I guess an example of what I wish to illustrate is that an Acheron on suboptimal relics with high crit stats is going to outperform a BiS relic build with dogshit crit stats. Just a video idea I think a numbers guy like you might be interested in.

6:02 both those varibles are wrong. Since youll always be at 9 stacks when you hit ult. Your 1st varible should be: am I at 3 Quad ascend stacks? Ult if yes. Variable 2 (only applies if your on acheron turn with sig or luka lc and said no to 1): am I at two stacks of Quad and will skill use over cap me? Ult and then skill.
Just curious as to why you choose to go somewhat high speed on black swan? wouldnt just getting to 135 with Ruan meis buff maximize damage, or are you looking for specific speed to get in attacks before enemies? (Team 1). I currently have my Kafka at all out speed ( 147+ Light cone + Ruan mei, ends at roughly 172 speed) and my black swan at 125 speed ( Ruan mei gets her to 135). Though I wont run Acheron on the same team just curious as to why Black Swan was so high speed for you.
Sam HP and DEF are so so so high, and if you have problems beating her fast enough, the battle becomes a pain, I just ended it with Lynx, surviving to Sam attacks by healing herself, and waiting for Sam to be killed by MoC dots. I like the idea of her being the hardest boss, for now.
Sad the only nihility I have are little Gui and Pela :( Had to skip Black Swan bc of Acheron. Good part it is, got her and sig LC (within 120 pulls) and lost second 50/50, hopefully I will be able to get E1 Acheron, so next rerun and I will only need 1 nihility :D Thank you for a showcse, love watching the ones you make!
The new 4th stage PF was not kind to me and my bad to decent relics. That up until I've tried your suggestion on Acheron team. First time I go sustainless on both sides. First stage JL, TY, Sparkle, Pela. Barely got 20.9k. Second team Acheron(E0S1) BS(E1S1) Kafka(E0 fermata) and RM(E0S1). And got max 40k thus aquiring 3*:-D Good advice. P.S. don't hate on JL and her low score, teammates have really bad under leveled relics, no S1 for anybody, and I needed to change her ok speed boots with bad ATK, so Sparkle would be way ahead instead of always right above.
Kafka/BS/Acheron has probably become my favorite trio to play with. I don't consider myself a sweaty gamer at all. I don't care for getting 0 cycles myself nor do I ever try to go for them. Earlier, I tested Kafka/BS/Acheron/Ruan Mei against MoC 12 side 1 just to see the synergy they would have and I 0 cycled it first try pretty effortlessly. I have all those characters decently geared, and at E0 except my Acheron who is E1(+18CR). Kafka and Acheron have their LCs.
That dot comp is so strong I bet you can replace Ruan mei with Asta and still 0 cycle.
I need to get kafka on her rerun so bad so i can try this run, but it would probably be smarter to wait for best in slot acheron 5 star support

Welt is broken after the patch. He technique does not work at all. Although he can still work but it is substantially less effective.

Smack you should use E2 Gallagher instead of Gepard! Gallagher's enhanced basic adds a stack for Acheron and surprisingly he sustains very well against Sam! Best thing is his healing is all flat Hp meaning you can invest all into break effect and speed

Not only that his healing is increased by 50% of his break effect capping at 75%. Which means at 150% b effect he's healing for a stupid amount constantly.

The best part is that I also achieve this on auto. All of them are e0s0 except for Ruan Mei sig LC. Literally my dream team come true.

Hell yeah. I'm the inverse because I got e2s1 kafka/e2s1 bs/s1 acheron, going for e2/e0, no sig lc Ruan Mei.
I figured having her gain that extra sp would make the comp even smoother. Trying to get RM some spd upgrades so she always goes first to gain sp early and trigger kafak fua. With sig lc that would be 5 sp and 7 stacks on acheron.

As a f2p I kinda caved and went for Acheron LC 😅 But tbf I was on guaranteed and thought to myself; 'why not invest vertically on one character I like a lot?' Did some pulls and was lucky enough to get it at 40 pity. I'm not usually someone who likes to sweaty do 0 cycles, but I am always amazed at people who do it and goddamn Acheron hitting 1M on moc will always blow my mind.
Btw; for Sam, if you want to break him out of that fire state faster, DHIL is the best bc every skill he consumes to do his enhanced basic attack will count as a stack.

Before the Tutorial Mission Starts light cone REALLY helps both E0 Silver Wolf's problems you mentioned though.
Also I'm FTP and don't usually pull for sig lightcone but did so for Acheron and am glad I did especially that it came at only 25 pity, which is the total amount of pulls on LC banner since I started the game, and is a HUGE difference from my s2 gnsw and made her more comfortable to play. Made me wish I pulled Black Swan but I don't have Kafka so I had good reasoning. Idk whether to save for Aventurine or wait for Jiaoqiu. I have Luocha, Baliu, and Gepard as 5 star sustains.

To beat sam F2P if you don't have Black Swan, I used Gallagher instead at lvl 70, with his talent at lvl 9, with a f2p healing build, it took me 5 cycles (changes with investment), but I finally beat moc 12, hope that helps if anyone needs it.
Edit: I don't have Gepard so I used Sparkle with High investment instead with 157 spd with 206 CD
Decided to try pulling for her, but I lost my 50/50 again for the 4th time in a row and all at high pity.. Sigh.. 😞
Maybe I'll just save for Jingliu and wait for Acheron rerun, hopefully at that point I already have several GNSW, and more importantly win the 50/50.

It’s crazy that Acheron has no dedicated supports and is the best DPS right now, DHIL has sparkle and Jingliu has bronya (who isn’t a dedicated support but work’s really well with her and fixes her problem of being outside of her transcend state) Acheron only has pela and still rocks

Acherons technique description is 100% correct. She does not gain a stack of her talent when she uses it. She had 7 stacks at the beginning from breaking the trotter and from black swan’s technique. Under her HP bar you see a different buff that has 1 stack. That is her technique, and it gives her a talent stack after using ultimate. You also get these buff stacks from going over the 9 stack limit of her talent.

Tech actually allows/states that stack of quad to be gained at the start of each wave. Its worded poorly and the phrase probably should been in a different trace. I think they just kind of ran out of space.

Agree with everything you said about team 3, I caught myself the other day running that exact team I run with pretty much the same level of investment as you, E0S1 Acheron, E0S1 Sparkle, E0 Silver Wolf with eyes of the prey(I started on the Playstation release so we don't have that tutorial LC) and E6 resolution Pela.. its a damage screenshot team setup.. but I've never advocated that team to any of my friends because it's extremely squishy and just feels super sweaty to play. I end up just replacing sparkle with Huo Huo and taking the dps loss in exchange for fun / comfortability lol.
But I won't lie, the sweaty team does hit REALLY high. 😅

Glad to see someone giving the Acheron, BS, Kafka team some love. It's the only team I've been able to 0 cycle with, but a lot of people seem to think its pretty mid compared to Pela, SW. I'm sure there's some objective truth to that, but for me, it's the team that feels best to run with Acheron.

I mean, you could 0 cycle with just kafka and BS, so acheron is a little bit overkill to me, so it would work better in the second team to me, 1 cycle with kafka/bs, and 1/2 cycle with acheron pela/sw, because if not it would be like 0 cycle with kafka/bs/acheron and 6 cycle with ratio/silver wolf, obviously this is from my personal experience because i have no other hipercarry, just ratio, so it depends on how much characters you have

At everyone e0, it's strong. With further investment it becomes so op its ridiculous.
With right set up you can actually break sam’s toughness bar during a 0 cycle and still ult twice with acheron.
But for this to work you need s1 acheron lc and both pela and sw equipped with 165 wind set and ofc ruan mei to enhance your weakness break efficiency

For sustains, i found the best option to unironically be the Fire MC with Trend. You build her EHR-SPD-DEF-ER, and skill every turn. Taunt gives you stack, and every enemy who hit her gives another, i once got 4 stacks just from hits of ads.

Not entirely sure about team 1. Not saying that it doesn't work but just using a Tingyun or a Guinaifen/Sampo instead of Acheron would be better in that team for less investment.

I 0-cycled that Svarog fight replacing Acheron with Guinaifen on a somewhat break build. I also did it with Asta, Tingyun and Gallagher lol. Only my Kafka has her s1 and no eidolons on the 5*s.
It's really just that Swan, Kafka and Mei are already so strong together that the last character isn't as important. I think that Svarog side has lower HP overall too. Just like the Yanqing side on floor 12.

Maybe for Silver Wolf try changing your build to be a support focused one with high speed, EHR and ERR rope and drop the BE build if you think she needs E1 that badly. It would probably fix your core issue.

So glad you showed how amazing Black Swan is for Acheron. I felt like none of the other CCs were really noticing that the free charges from Arcana and Def shred from Skill were huuuge boosts. Even better is her Arcana applies when an enemy enters the field so it's free charges on Pure Fiction and if a boss spawns adds. BS E1 can also apply Lightning RES shred through her ult. For vertical investment BS E1 can also apply Lightning RES shred through her ult. Then there's Kafka's FuA adding a stack from characters that normally wouldn't. Personally my auto team for everything right now is HuoHuo, Kafka, BS, and Acheron. Amazing content as always GachaSmack.

I also got e2 bs. So fun to see moc 12 yanqing broken at 1%hp 50 stacks arcana and Archeron just staring menacingly in ult at him.

I think the main thing that makes Acheron broken is the fact that theoretically she can ult multiple times in a single cycle. Just using MC fire with a Universal Market LC (Taunt count as debuff) can give her huge amount of debuffs to consume.
15:32 I can't do this though. Problem i have is, if i start with pela, i can get Acheron ult without even using any of my units at the first entry. But then i only have the debuffs active from techniques and the damage goes down with 200k if i were to just ult, instead of applying all debuffs first, but then i have the issue of acheron being too slow. Because my acheron can only go once.
Are you using the exact team shown in the part you timestamped? What cones are you using and what speed do you have on the rest of the team?
If you have enough debuffs coming in from other teammates (and Dance Dance Dance on a Harmony unit, if you're using one), they battery her up quickly, which means Acheron can roll with attack boots no problem. Mine got her ult up in pretty good time at base speed, even before I got her signature cone.
That said, nothing's wrong with using Pela's technique first, as Smack pointed out. As long as you can clear the content, you're chilling. o7

I really reallyy realllllyyyy love this vid. Not only i learnt something valuable about acheron team building in a more detailed insights, i got to learn that losing 1 50/50 to gepard also would increase his value in acheron team comp and i got to learn about Sam's attack pattern and his vulnerability debuff.
I cannot put into words on how watching this 35 mins vid have saved my ass from feeling like i doesn't pull enough characters, or how I doesn't spend more time on building a character so they fell out of place... 100/10 detailed vid. Would c*m to this.
Yeah man, I used to tell people all the time that it's just fine having just a handful of dps, two sustains, and some supports built. Acheron is extra special in that her ult shreds toughness regardless, so if there's a floor where you have a weak matchup, she's got you covered.
It also doesn't hurt to watch several guide makers for more perspectives, or in case someone mentions something that others don't. Then you can form your own meta based on your account. Good stuff!
I got lucky, got Acheron, got her LC AND S5 GNSW for my BS. I tried doing Acheron, Pela, SW and a sustain and had massive skill points issue.
I don't think Adventurine is a must since I got FX but then 2.2 characters don't interest me much and 2.3 is prob Sam which I mean.....do I need more DPS if I got BS, Kafka, Acheron, JL etc?

Unfortunately I can't do any of them because I'm missing every 5* Nihility except Welt (who I also lost the 50/50 to on Acheron's banner. He's now at E3 🥲), so I'm looking forward to your f2p comp video with Sampo. I'd also love to see how well or badly she works with Welt. I'm worried the team comps I would be able to run would be too skill point hungry, and that her damage would drop a lot especially since I only have GNSW at S2. I'm going to look for a very f2p Acheron in my friend's list to see if I can try her out against some weekly bosses. I want to get a good idea of how she will perform on my account before I pull any further on her banner.

I fought Sam with Acheron s1/welt tutorial/pela pearls/fu xuan trends. I tell you what playing sustain Welt with Fu Xuan it felt like I had all the time in the world until Sam’s burning skill points. At that point it was like that song, “the heat is on”!

Mr Gacha! I have a question in regards to your "Only Eidolon on Harmony" Statement. What about Sustains? FX gives 30 CD, Aventurine gives 20 CD. Are they worth it as they will/should also be there for most runs the player does? Since the logic, or at least from my standpoint remains the same. They provide team damage and are always there, but Im not sure if 30CD is as good as what harmony brings. Ruan Mei is 20% Def shred, Sparkle e1/e2 are phenomenal, etc

Depends on who you have, but off the top of my head- Acheron, FMC/Gepard, Pela, another Nihility unit works. If you don't have another Nihility unit, then a Harmony unit aside from Tingyun (or healer, especially Gallagher) works well enough o/

@@luciainvicta5553 Yep, that absolutely shreds. Debuffs from all party members for fast Acheron ults, defense reduction specifically for even more damage.
If by chance you have SP issues, you can make Gallagher fast and/or give him Multiplication so he can get more turns to basic attack. If I wasn't lazy and didn't like using Welt/Gepard so much, I'd be using Gallagher!
Got my first zero cycle using Acheron to finishing the previous MOC12 before it ended. Acheron, Pela, 160 spd Sparkle and Ruan Mei / Huohuo. Worked better with Ruan Mei but needed her for the 2nd fight, so kept zero cycling the first fight while I worked on 2nd.
I blown up by Acheron’s performance in Gold and Gears with Erudition path. Even with all my experience with propagation and DHIL, I didn’t expect that enormous numbers

Can you do a video that demonstrates the importance of stats over sets? I've gotten into numerous arguments on Discord over what's really the most important. I guess an example of what I wish to illustrate is that an Acheron on suboptimal relics with high crit stats is going to outperform a BiS relic build with dogshit crit stats. Just a video idea I think a numbers guy like you might be interested in.

Your 1st varible should be: am I at 3 Quad ascend stacks? Ult if yes.
Variable 2 (only applies if your on acheron turn with sig or luka lc and said no to 1): am I at two stacks of Quad and will skill use over cap me? Ult and then skill.

Just curious as to why you choose to go somewhat high speed on black swan? wouldnt just getting to 135 with Ruan meis buff maximize damage, or are you looking for specific speed to get in attacks before enemies? (Team 1). I currently have my Kafka at all out speed ( 147+ Light cone + Ruan mei, ends at roughly 172 speed) and my black swan at 125 speed ( Ruan mei gets her to 135). Though I wont run Acheron on the same team just curious as to why Black Swan was so high speed for you.

Sam HP and DEF are so so so high, and if you have problems beating her fast enough, the battle becomes a pain, I just ended it with Lynx, surviving to Sam attacks by healing herself, and waiting for Sam to be killed by MoC dots.
I like the idea of her being the hardest boss, for now.
kafka's lc is also great for acheron cause her basic follow up can apply a debuff aswell

The new 4th stage PF was not kind to me and my bad to decent relics. That up until I've tried your suggestion on Acheron team. First time I go sustainless on both sides. First stage JL, TY, Sparkle, Pela. Barely got 20.9k. Second team Acheron(E0S1) BS(E1S1) Kafka(E0 fermata) and RM(E0S1). And got max 40k thus aquiring 3*:-D Good advice.
P.S. don't hate on JL and her low score, teammates have really bad under leveled relics, no S1 for anybody, and I needed to change her ok speed boots with bad ATK, so Sparkle would be way ahead instead of always right above.

Kafka/BS/Acheron has probably become my favorite trio to play with. I don't consider myself a sweaty gamer at all. I don't care for getting 0 cycles myself nor do I ever try to go for them. Earlier, I tested Kafka/BS/Acheron/Ruan Mei against MoC 12 side 1 just to see the synergy they would have and I 0 cycled it first try pretty effortlessly. I have all those characters decently geared, and at E0 except my Acheron who is E1(+18CR). Kafka and Acheron have their LCs.
I think the GNSW vs LC argument only holds up if you have e5…which not everyone has. Certainly not me at least.
