  • Anyone can offer a prediction about the future. Predicting the future normal is far harder.
What does it take to identify world-changing trends that will actually last? For the past decade, Rohit Bhargava and Henry Coutinho-Mason have been on the front lines of the future-doing research that has taken them into cutting-edge labs, private testing facilities, and invite-only showcases across the world. Now for the first time ever, in this exclusive SXSW session where they launch their new book, they reveal the most powerful stories and instigators that are already shaping humanity’s next decade. From biophilic skyscrapers to generative AI to haptic interfaces, this Featured Session offers a clear-eyed overview of not only the technology changing our world but also explores the deeply human questions all this advancement will raise. Delivered with trademark “non-obvious” stories and infused with actionable insights, this session will help you get ready for the coming future.

Hi, good video but biased to the limit, first they condition your mind with a familiar speech, that sounds nice, who doesn't like stories of overcoming, anecdotes of life etc. But then comes the trap, we are living a decline of the natural by the artificial, now everything is reversed, according to this guy it is better to eat a chicken manufactured in the laboratory than to eat something that nature has produced either animal or vegetable, isn't it ridiculous to hear this? isn't it ridiculous that the world is upside down and instead of encouraging serious relationships between men and women, they promote that the best girlfriend is the one you have inside your smartphone, a girlfriend that doesn't yell at you, isn't unfaithful, answers you 24 hours a day and if you insult her she congratulates you because YOU ARE THE OWNER.
It is no longer useful to talk to a friend to lighten the problems or tensions of the day to day or even a therapist, no, what for? better to talk to an AI, friends and relationships are no longer useful, better is technology and if you lose a loved one no longer pay a psychologist to learn to overcome the loss, NO, better clone his voice and talk forever with that person, and those who divorced or were abandoned do the same become obsessive and keep talking but with the clone of your EX, better yet give your children a clone of you and so DO NOT TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN, let the IA educate them and if they miss grandma because she passed away? No problem, clone her voice and video so she can tell them stories, ALL AT ONCE CLONE THE DEAD so we can ask them if we should invest in a business, or decide who we should marry etc.
Good is bad now and bad is good ha!, Suddenly eating healthy is no longer synonymous of fruits or vegetables but of transgenic chickens and lab grown meats, better save yourselves the trip and tell a future where you take one food pill per week so you will have so much free time to chat with your smartphone girlfriend and not look face to face with another human being and much less think about having children, no, that is no longer useful, in this world it is better to be single and invent a gender every day. Artificial is better than natural. The ANORMAL is normal now ha ha.
