I’m a Pure Shaman, and finding out that others practice mixtures of our Craft is inspiring, because throughout all these Times it’s a further Realization that we are all Connected
As a Guarini native from Paraguay the man she worked with got his practices from my people. I'm a hereditary shaman and I use many types of witchcraft in my practices 🤗😁
Indians are from INDIA...!!.. indigenous people of the Americas are Native People..!! Not Indians...!! Indian is a foreign word imposed by a foreign people ...If you want others to have an accurate portrayle and use accurate terms to reference Wicca.. be sure to do the same when referencing Native People and Native traditions...!!
In the 1400s that’s when India got its name (only 600 years and some change) formerly known as Indonesia the natives of America are Indian I know it’s kinda confusing but the info is out there if you look
what about more ancienter types that long died out ones abled to feel hear see taste smell nature and able to speak plants and animals and to hear the goddess voice
Thank you! I read Michael Harner's "The Way of the Shaman" in my PSY of REL class where we studied Shamanism. We also read "Shaman Healer Sage" by Alberto Villoldo, and the "Sacred Universe" by Thomas Berry. This path really resonates with me. The information that you are sharing is fantastic! I am eager to learn more.
I mean wicca is a totally different religion than from what you do, you know everything magick shouldn't be labeled as "wiccan" or a sub class of it. I mean thats like calling a Jew a Herbrew Christian am I right?
I was raised Baptist and in my adult life I have been very much drawn to spirituality and I’m very interested in this. My family thinks if I believe in astrology or spirit guides, crystals or anything like that.. that its devil worship and against God. Can I believe in Jesus and still believe in this as well? Please dont be mean, its a real question. Thank you in advance.
I believe that all those things you listed are gifts from the Creator. It is also believed in some circles that Jesus studied some of those things as well. Follow your heart. You are ok 👌
thats just fear, the idea one way is right and that one group of people could ever know what is exactly right is so human it could never be divine! be kind to all things, thats all that matters. all the love to you
interesting, a shame you use the word 'eskimo' its like saying nikker to someone black. an important dettail, and makes me wonder how deep you studied, read and maybe met with some inuit or other cultures. say 'eskimo' once and they will tell you its offensive. greetings
I lived in Alaska from 1963 til 1977 and not once was I ever told that the word Eskimo was an offensive word. Then I move to lower 48 after serving 4 years in the Army. Then it was I am to learn the word Eskimo is offensive, though I am not told why. I am told the accepted word is Inuit. On the same note, the word squaw is highly offensive and refers to a body part, not a person.
@@1Ophelia18 "Eskimo" means "meat eater" which is a slur to the natives it's directed towards since they were seen as savages who only ate raw meat which they do not.
I try to learn about other religions with an open mind, but Wicca just seems absolutely ludicrous to me... These people are not actually experiencing "other realms." It's pure imagination.
Just maybe they are not as peaceful as they would like us to believe maybe it's not just the white man and their religion maybe it's them and their religion too. Maybe they don't want to tell us both sides of the story both sides pointing the finger but not pointing it at themselves
Why do people tend to take things out of their historical and cultural context? What a lack of respect towards native cultures around the world! Wicca is wicca and Shamanism is shamanism!
And red is red and blue is blue until you mix them together and make purple. Just because something is its own entity, doesn't mean that someone cannot build off of their knowledge of one and add it to another. Making it into a new and beautiful study.
That's what I call a big lack of respect! You believe you have the right to mix and do whatever you want in this crazy and globalized world which is leading us to our own destruction... Fantastic! Keep that way you cool people who know everything!
there is a reason some people believe one thing and others believe another. there must be truth in both for ideas have to have somewhere to come from. there for all things have truth. if you are someone who believes this then be willing to take in all the knowledge that the world has. if not then sorry my friend you curse yourself to never grow.

how does it feel to connect to spirits? how do you know the difference between your thoughts and spirits?
My great grandfather was a shaman in the village he was from, do you know if it runs in the family?
As a shamanic wiccan I love this so much.
what is the difference between shamanism and wicca ?
@@yb32 that's a good question 👍👍💯💯

Wait... so that was a good explanation of Core Shamanism, but how does that interplay with the Wicca part?
Thanks, Phyllis I'm having a blast discovering that I'm not alone.
I have been trying to figure out what I'm doing instinctively . this is helpful

Thanks for sharing I never felt so comfortable in awhile kinda like a lost home found ty.

natives are the natives of whichever land they inhabit. indigenous people of americas are called (and get this) americans.
@@thehighlifecommission9080 Exactly! Indians just mean indigenous that's it... no need to be pathological cody lol.

Study the old testament. It warns against such practices.
i want to learn wicca. Can you help me 😊😊😊
Entheogens are another way to enter alpha/theta brain states. Does your tradition use these wonderful universal teachers?
Indigenous traditions sure do, thats where the shamanic core practices she discussed come from
The eye of the shaman blessed be )O(
Wonder who learned it first the native Americans or some of the african tribes in africa
I like your dress

What word should be used instead then? Why is it insulting?

It's like calling them Indians instead of Native Americans, it's not so much offensive as culturally insensitive.

Dear Phyllis
Don't forget Denmark also :)
I teach modern techniques of shamanic witchcraft.
Hello Ian, Im here to learn and understand the techniques and art of Wicca, would be you be willing to get in touch?
Does #science back this up? Yes
Science does not need to back up everything to me, but if you harm none do as ye will and believe as ye will

Not really. It's not wise to refer to a religion as either Fake or as Sh***. It invites negative responses, which nobody likes.
Native american and ones like the ones at mardi gras
I grieve for your soul LYCAN.
I think that's the first time I've ever heard someone call someone a werewolf as an insult
Shut up, Bible-breath.
Then leave

^ this sleepingtom gets it
History and religion are not codependent.
No different than wicca
"and the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whor(mongers, and SORCERERS, and IDOLATERS, and all LIARS, shall have their place in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." This is so sinful. I observe that it's only logical to think that a philosophy or belief is true if it's put out for everyone to know.
why is it sinful
It is not sinful
Any religious practice could be considered sinful, holy, interesting, or irrelevant. As long as no ones being harmed or shamed, live and let live imo.
tf is sinful every religion and practice has many ways of sharing information with others
Everything that doesnt adhere to your weak God's testaments is sinful
Thank you, Phyllis
