Great video ! Hope to see the 13th gen intel processors will be more optimized for hybrid cores so this type of thin machines can be more effective in terms of heat and battery life.

Nice review....but I guess we are totally different pages when it comes to OLED screens. While I do like the bright colors and deep blacks you get with OLED, I absolutely HATE the reflectivity you get with glossy screens. And OLED screens are typically among the most reflective screens...which severely limits where you can use your laptop...and requires that you position your screen and/or your seating position to avoid reflecting backlighting. Plus OLED screens are horrible battery drainers. Combine that with the inefficiency of the 12th gen intel chips and you are asking for 3hours of real life battery life unless you REALLY turn down the screen brightness....Overall these issues make OLED a non-starter for me...but to each his ownn.

Hi, I have this laptop with the oled, mine came with a heavily anti-reflective coated screen, to the point it looks grainy, but it is even less reflective than your average matte screen!

I would definitely opt for the OLED display option especially if its Color is Calibrated correctly, awesome review btw

Tks for great review! I hear that gen 10 battery is worse than gen 9 and the 12th intel cpu is not doing good on power management. So should I purchase the gen 9 or this?

I just ordered this but with the OLED screen and Intel U series 15W CPU (i7-1265U), should have much better battery life and run cooler/quieter than the P series 28W CPU that all the reviewers have tested with X1 Carbon.

@@bora8254 It runs a cooler than my previous Gen 6 X1, however the little fans are noisy. I used intel XTU to limit the CPU to 20w boost and now the fans stay quiet. I'm quite happy with the laptop but I don't use it for anything intensive, just office work and Web browsing.

I wouldn't mind a nice pc laptop. My Asus is always in need of an update, and the specs you need for the windows update is weird.

Hi Mark. I am not sure which screen to select when ordering. Which screen would you advise me to use if I also work outside? It would also be important to me that the battery life is not negatively affected by the screen.

I haven’t tested the 2.8k OLED version yet, but I’ll assume that the 1900x1200 displays Will have better battery life. I would still recommend the OLED because it’ll look better really depends on which feature is more important to u.
