Is there someone at each restaurant that speaks English? We’re going to have a hard time ordering food. We don’t speak a lick of French. 😢
Hmm, yes and no..
Many restaurants offer an English version of the menu, and in some stores, that are popular with tourists, you can find staff that speaks English. But there’s many places where they don’t speak English or refuse to.

1,5 hours 😮 which day did you visit this market and do you know if it's always so busy?
I visited it on a weekend. Maybe during the week the waiting could be less.
But in Paris it’s not uncommon to wait for over an hour in line for the good place
