  • I did a little work on these older 3rd Rail Decs and strung a few iPhone clips together. These are outfitted with ERR cruise and sound.
This is a repost of yesterday's vid in 4K, for some reason the original didn't upload in full res.

Are these the new bio fuel versions that have no visible steam?

Norm, another great video. Your modeling skills are 2nd to none. We enjoy watching your videos and going over your layout looking for ideas for our layout. Keep up the great work.

Your scenery looks so real, I have to make sure these are models.

Norm you have a miniature railroad that is bar none and your camera work is spectacular. I especially like your level of weathering. I wish I had your talents for upgrading and fixing sounds etc. I have a 3rd Rail NYC Super Hudson I'd love to exchange the Lionel Rail Sounds for something else. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. I have really enjoyed them.

“I” guess these are a nice contrast!
    (Get it, they’re I1’s.)

The 11 is my absolute favorite of all Pennsy steam. I was able to see #4483, the last surviving I1sa (exposed to the elements in Buffalo, New York). I own an original Baldwin builders plate from I1sa # 4623 (this I1 was prominently featured in Clarence Weaver's 'The Ore Train'). I have always found an I1 with a long-haul tender more atheistically pleasing.

I have to ask, what material do you use to make the concrete roads??? Is it mdf board, foam or spackle??? They look very realistic.
    Great video man!

I use mostly 1/8" masonite/MDF/hardboard or whatever they are calling it lately. Menard's has the best 1/8" thickness in handy panel form, which is smooth on both sides. Home Depot used to have it like that but not anymore.
