so a modern welrod?
Interesting handgun, I got a feeling that one day B&T will make a semi auto version of it and have an actual barrel length for suppressed and unsuppressed, nice to see manufactures bring back old guns into the modern world unlike one, looking at you HK
What do you mean "have an actual barrel length for suppressed and un suppressed shooting"? I know he didn't state it in the video, but it's clearly about a 3 inch barrel. That's spretty standard length for a handgun, and the gun can already be shot suppressed or un suppressed.. how would it being semi auto make any difference on its ability as a suppressor host?
@@JTheraos I’m not talking about that, and also the barrel length yeah it’s 3” but would like the see a 4.2” or 4.6”. 3” you are on the bleeding edge of 9mm based on terminal ballistics, also instead of cocking it as a blot action rifle in that sense, they could do a semi auto version where if you need the reload or whatever you lock it back and put a new mag in. This is a collectors piece and not a fun day on the range type thing where you are going to put 10,000 rounds through it
@@Chris09978I think a semi auto version kinda defeats the point of a welrod pistol clone. There are already plenty of semi auto handguns. That work suppressed. The whole selling point of this handgun is it not being semi auto.
What makes the firearm Proprietary, and unavailable as being sold as just the Pistol?
Looking forward to picking one up. Thanks!
I love these videos
love it and I love the fact they are making it!
Looks a great product just like the GHM and APC8 . It's yet another product that will never be seen at your local gun store and only on RUclips. They must only be selling their products to content providers before they run out of stock. The real question that should be asked is how many are you shipping out to the stores.
Need...
B&T might be the only euro gun company whose name i love to say, it just rolls right off of the tongue..
the only people that know about the welrod are history nerds and girls frontline players
I want one, I do not need one, but life is not about needs, it is about wants!!!!
What's the status on this? I thought it was being released April, but I still haven't seen one in the wild.
Welrod?
Yes. OSS WWII sentry pistol designed to look like an old bicycle pump
@Kevin A. Forgotten Weapons :)
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I,m Sold on One
Please... please do a comparison between b&t suppressors and surefire suppressors!!!!
When you reach 1M subs, perhaps get a couple more lav mics to celebrate. 🙂. Pretty tough to hear 2 of the 3 guests.
Reminds me of the old Welrod from 1942
What would really be cool would be a Welrod style top end for a 1911 frame.
So can you get this without the usual atf suppressor wait times?
Me exptecting that they would price it reasonably at around $500-$600
B&T: That's gonna be $2,000 and your soul please.
I literally just watched Ian go over the original British WW2 gun this was based on couple days ago.
