Rogue 283 For a just a little bit more money you can get a used Mangusta 92 which is a superyacht compared to this or if I had to choose something newer I guess a Princess S66 would be a good alternative to this.
@@ANDRE_675 An s66 is nearly 500k more though. And a Mangusta this price will be 15 years old with outdated equipment and higher running costs

Am I the only one always excited to see the crew quarters?I feel like all of us who aren't ultra-wealthy, are rooting for a nice comfortable crew quarters so the people who take care of us (in our fantasy yacht life) are comfortable!
You're not the only one. I could see myself winning a "smaller" amount in lottery and buying one I could live on full time and charter part-time as an operator and living back there for part of it or something... 🤷♂️😛

You are not the only one, that's the part of the boat I can afford to stay in. Although I do dream of having a wealthy friend invite us to stay in the VIP and guest quarters.
I was fantasizing about chastising teen children of guests that I would pack away in the crew quarters, with hot pockets in the fridge, pop-tarts, dorito's and peanut butter in the storage and quietly aside chastise them not to smoke pot or make out in the engine room, its off limits; gasoline tanks on either side, lean up against a circuit board and click something you dont know what. Just hang out on the back no one will come down, I swear. We'll all be above getting wrecked. Believe me, we don't want to see you. Do your own thing , have fun, make friends and don't be stupid, ok? Just make it back for breakfast every day, please. We're having Salmon eggs benedict with a horse radish dill sauce and asparagus tomorrow on the top deck, just....be there then we'll be making way to San tropez.
I don't know how they do it for the price or size but this boat is just close to perfect for both guests and crew, even the engine room is large enough to make most parts accessible. Excellent walk through, thank you.
It´s like the bag of Mary Poppins, where she doesn´t stop to get things out, which normally wouldn´t fit in there.

@@ieight8234 Sue I understand what you mean but a comparable new boat from say Princess would cost at least twice the price and used prices form 2007 are still higher than this new boat price with guarantee etc.
The only thing I can see that's a cheaper part compared to maybe a Princess are the cupboard fasteners which are a little clunky. I could live with clunky which will loosen over time anyway, I love the innovation on this boat.

@@frouchitude1916 It's not that innovative. Drop down balconies, configurable seating and tables, options for various things. All the same old stuff 10's of other modern boatbuilders offer.
To be honest the whole thing, as usual, plays like a sales pitch/advertisment feature. It's never going to be any different because he wants free tours for content, and the builders want favourable exposure.
So everything is going to be wonderful, wonderful, wonderful or astonishing every single time. Even if it isn't. If there are flaws, they will be glossed over.
This is one of the best yachts I've seen, regardless of price or size. Literally the best use of space. It's not a big boat, yet they still made the crew cabin respectable and not a human trafficking cell. I don't want a house anymore, I want this boat

This is the most appealing boat i have seen. This is just the boat i would have wanted if i got the money.
The only things i would change was the guest cabins and the crew cabin.
I would change it to 2 double bed guest cabins with their own en suite toilet with shower.
And the crew cabin should be storage for water toys.
Its a really nice boat!
Take the rotating cockpit seat + garage option then. :) Sit in comfort on the back while looking over the water at people playing on the toys... and if you keep the three cabin layout, you still get three couples on board, with an extra cabin to put a Stew or Skipper if you want to hire one to give you more guest time. :)

Rune Wiuff For a long time Sunseeker Manhattan 62 was my favorite. But now I have changed my mind. This boat is my new favorite the day I win the lottery ;)
I think this is the first boat you’ve shown where I’ve seen a price tag of £1.5M and immediately thought to myself “that’s an incredible deal”. I would feel like I’m robbing the manufacturer if I got this much boat for that much money. Absolutely spectacular Nick, as usual. I’d love to see more like this if you ever find something similar!

just checked the charter price - $35,000 for a week. Split between 2 families its actually affordable !

well, i've seen most people dreaming of someday be successful enough to have this much money and buy something like a bugatti or a koennigsegg etc , and i wanted that to until today...man what the heck does cars like that compare to this. in those fast expensive supercars most you could do was get to the track and pull out some speed and maneuvers by yourself or an extra person,,, but with this thing right here , you could go on vacations, swimming, fishing, trips and what not with family and friends and even a crew to help you...well now getting this boat is a goal and a dream..this yacht has great space, a JETSKII, spacious bedrooms, great swimming platform, multiple TVs, bar, beautuful dining spaces etc etc.. Amazing boat, amazing features, amazing tour. :0 :)
This is the most perfect boat ever made. Super intelligent design and no wasted space.
Definitely an innovative boat. Features like this is what separates a boat from the rest . The folding sides to open it up, with the sliding windows. The top sliding central roof section for easier and safer bow access plus airflow. Cabins are a nice size . To me this boat is a great example of the old saying "you get what you pay for " . So many great features. Excellent vid.

The more Galeon's you show, the more impressed I am with them. They seem to have excellent clean looks, and have some crazy good innovation available, for a not insane price. Great looking boat. Nice tour Nick!
My new favorite. To me...perfect. I'm not in the yachting world so I don't know Galeon's reputation from other makers within the industry....but this boat has to be right at the top in it's segment.
This boat is a total game changer in layouts.... just the opening front screen, such a clever idea, all the small touches like the bar on the side and the seating area opposite side....
The amount of useable room per foot is incredible, hats off to their designers....

What a cracking vessel! We can all dream of owning a £1.5 mill boat and always thought I'd go Princess or maybe Sunseeker but this 1 is perfect! Think i'd go tender garage option and 1 access to the cockpit to have the larger seating. Love the walk through showing us the gadets, great video, thanks Nick

I think it is a lot of money but absolutely justified for this boat.
You would be surprised 1.5mil it’s actually on the lower end for a boat of this size.

A very versatile craft. Full of good ideas.
Because idiots will pay what they’re told to pay. If you’re willing to pay for it…then that’s the price. There’s simple center console fishin boats that are more expensive than this and it makes little sense to me.
Imagine the Bugatti is sold at 50% the manufacturing cost !!!!!
They lost €2m on each original Bugatti sold believe it or not. I’m assuming the major reason is this yacht is built for luxury whereas the Bugatti is built for world record breaking performance

Man on man, Nick, this is the one! You've done it! I genuinely think that all of my picky demands can be met by this stunning masterpiece. The options are just endless - after reviewing the floorplans I think I'd go with the 3-cabin layout and have the counter with four stools in place of that extra sofa in the galley - much nicer as a breakfast bar, I think. I still can't believe how customizable it is... you can switch things up depending on the day, and it's that sort of versatility that makes this boat truly amazing. Well done providing such a long, thorough video, too. You know it's going to be good when you see upwards of 20 minutes. Cheers!

Hats off to the Engineers and Designers of this yacht. They've carefully considered every square inch of space also devising some unique features to maximise the available space.
I cannot believe how awesome this 64 footer is. Finally! An appropriate size tv for the saloon! And i love the bar stools, the helm, everything! What a steal! Ive always said i couldent do anything less than 80ft, but this would be just fine.

Fourth time viewing - in a row. This must have begun as a blank page project, sussed out by someone who never knew "CAN'T" with an amazing eye for style and a utilitarian soul. If that was a committee, then it's the best ever assembled. There is not an argument or clash of any kind, anywhere on this boat - it ALL works together as if self assembled from friendships...
Every time you do a Galeon tour I am so impressed with them. Just look at the time you spent on this. Love the extra deckspace on this one. One of my favorites so far. Grade A job Nick, thanks.
Nick, you often comment on the boats you show that no space goes unused. It is fun to see what different boat makers do with those little “nooks and crannies.” However, after watching this video, I have to say that Gideon actually made more spaces! The fold down side areas that have the bar stools, with the extra counter space and/or additional seat options. Simply magnificent.
I love that boat. That boat is me all over. Just chill out with a beer at anchor with some good music and friends.

That is a fantastic boat. Very clever touches throughout. Clean lines, nice muted colors, plenty of storage, love the sliding window/door to access foredeck area. One of my new favorites.

Such a great job at maximizing the use of space. And I love the little balconies, never thought they would be "needed", but now that I see them I just can't imagine a boat like this without them...
You can appreciate how much Galeon have packed into this boat when Nick spends longer on this tour than he did on the Sunseeker 131 last year 😜

I can't believe how much stuff is on a boat that size! That might be one of the best layouts of any yacht that size that I have seen. That had the feel of a 100 footer! Amazing! Great tour.

Dear Nick, This boat & tour was really bad! Why? Due to it's innovations and solutions it leaves a lot of other great yachts in complete darkness. This boat provided us with surprise after surprise. And when one might think that one innovation was shown by yourself, there was simply another button to push to keep that innovation going. I have to admit that this is the most interesting and captivating tour I have seen so far. Beautiful interior as well. Thank you.

Isnt it just fascinating... Galeon has such powerful and succesful competitors out there with similar boat sizes and makes you think like "ohh look at this sunseeker such an amazing boat..",,, then Galeon comes in smashes all the norms with inovative ideas and changes your mind in a snap of a second.. Price wise, what you get from this boat... I'm just speachless. This layout deserves to be more expensive, yet nothing in this boat seems to be cheap. But I guess this is the way how Galeon orient the market against their competitors. Love your videos.

Great layout with some transformative features, for myself I’d not be sure about people walking on the skylight above my master cabin but that’s hardly a complaint and I’m there are workable options! Thanks for a great tour, as always!

This is officially my dream yacht over the 2010 princess v65. Only thing i would change is the remove crew cabin and put a tender garage.
From today on this is my dream boat. A boat doesn't need to be any bigger. It's 8 persons. That's enough. 4 cabins, 2 bars, 2 TV's .. 2 launch area's.. beautiful.
