It's not the best pack. Is it their worst pack? Maybe. Probably not. It's just a little bit... airy? It's a lot of fluff and not a lot of content. I'd love to see a refresh. I played with Spa Day so much when they refreshed it.
The landscaping says remote, the housing somehow screams gated communinity. This in spite of the bar that instead says, roadside attraction. Very conflicting vibes.
The only times I've ever visited Glimmerbrook is when I want my sims to head to the Magic Realm or sometimes to visit the pub. In my opinion they should have made this world somewhat similar to Moonwood Mill. That is make it a mystical forest like place where your spellcaster sims can find ingredients for their potions. It seems like the only point of this world is to find the portal.
I totally agree with that barbiquearea! Fingers crossed that one day it gets a bit of a refresh or update to make the main world a bit more magical! That would be really cool.

One of the funniest things about the bar in Glimmerbrook is that they forgot to change the roof texture on one piece of roofing. It always sticks out to me when I load into the lot and I immediately have to go into build mode and fix it.
I feel like there was a missed opportunity in Realm of Magic to make it so that the Magic Realm was the new neighborehood. I mean, how cool would it be to build your sim's home (without cheats) on a fragmented island hovering above the magical vortex?

‘Don’t get too excited coz it’s not interactable’ is the tagline for sims 4 expansion packs. The magic world isn’t that great, could’ve been better, but the whole spell caster thing is really fun and the world should have accommodated more for it..
Hi Petey! if you’re looking for one, I have a video idea for ways to improve worlds using the TOOL mod. I’ve added swing sets and those big movie hangout projectors and they really help with the Sims 4’s big worlds with nothing to do. I’m pretty sure you can think of some better ideas. I wish Glimmerbrook was bigger, 3 lots is nothing. I also find the magic world through the portal remarkably underwhelming too. I was excited to go to the shopping area and was disappointed how little there was to do there. It’s just a bit pointless, could of been way more if EA gave a crap (even the townies there look ugly 🙈)
It´s a shame that the most beautiful building in the entire pack (giant glass greenhouse) is non-interactable. I like the overal color atmosphere of the world (purple and pink hues), but some of the houses could have been more interesting. They don´t scream "magic" as much as they could.
Funny you should mention Harry Potter, bruh. I made a Sim and named him after my fave character in the series, Severus Snape. I gave him a wife named Diana, and they couldn't be happier.
omg, the first time I edited the building, I made an abomination - the 2nd attempt was even worse - now I don't bother and just play in the default master-crap-piece. LOL
@@CaraBolsaSTUDIOS really could use a bit of that, Forgotten Hollow had Vlad and his statue, Glimmerbrook could've used something similar. Either that or just some witchy set dressing even, even the magic realm just needed just more... substance I think is the right word.

Love the magic shop area. I always immediately buy a death flower there. I then plant and create a garden full of them for easy money. 😂
That beautiful glass greenhouse was the hardest letdown for me 🥺 I still delude myself that there are ways to get in it 😭

I added a few seance tables in the main building of Magic Realm. They go pretty nicely with the spellcaster theme.
sometimes they even sell the $1200 Death flower. valuable in so many ways. great video. I didn't know the garden and greenhouse were there!
