I think a lot of dudes get into fitness and get consistent with it and think thats all they needed for self improvement. After doing it consistently for 6 months I realized taking care of my body was kind of the bare minimum
I've been at that stage and gone past it, so I can tell you what comes next. You are right, there is much more to self-improvement, but the biggest thing is to let your shoulders down, let out a sigh and laugh. A lot will come naturally to you, in what you should pursue, how you should pursue it, and when. Don't get it in your head that you can't go far in lifting without sacrificing a healthy social life or whatever other aspects of life you're thinking of. Going all the way to your physical max isn't for every man, but it is for everyone to try for at least a few years. Ultimately, the habits of lifting cause you to live in a healthier way anyway, and it makes you realise you don't need to do a bunch of little things all the time, or spend more time than you have in the day. I could never live without lifting. Even when I'm 80, 90, 100, or whatever I'll reach before I'm up and pumping the divine iron, I'll still be going and doing my lifting a good 3-4x/week. I have the modest goal of, presuming I reach 100, still being able to deadlift 100 kg. I'm at 186 kg at 22, going up to 300, or however much higher I can reach, so it's not really that ambitious, but it'll still be pretty badass.
The gym should be a part of your life, not your whole life. A lot of people will see that again when their friends have kids and all they talk or think about is their kids and lose being a person. A spouse, family, gym, your job, friends, and your children need to be woven into your life, not your only thing. Take care of your mental and physical health and the rest will fall into place if you work for it.
@@REVIVALFitness People often make the poor choice to ONLY focus on what they think is the most important thing is what is right in front of you at the time. As children we just want to play, high school all about Fri & Sat night, college is chasing, twenties to mid 30s partying and trying to find a wife, 30s to 40s wife takes over and focuses you on children's activities. You forget you are a couple first, who decided to raise a family together. IMO if you focus on only the one thing in front of you that you think is the most important, you end up divorced, with no friends and struggling to split time with your kids, who now resent you for splitting up the family. Life is about balance and keeping multiple threads which together makes you happy and healthy, from spouse, friends and family to hobbies and career.
I’m at the age now where all of my friends are having kids. I have had to distance myself from a few. I can’t hear all about your damn kid. Their kid is now their identity. It’s wild .
@@323johnnybravo Yeahhhhhh man, you think that is bad, my wife at all the showers gets to hear all the specific details on the births every single time. Their kids are at least 10. What else ya got to talk about people???
I'm glad you put out content that's not only fitness focused. A lot of gymbros including myself started gym because our lives were shit and we were on a verge of suicide. I'm sure many of us would appreciate if you post more content about fixing our lives that's outside of gym/nutrition. Socialization, dating, finding hobbies, meaning, purpose etc.
Revival is a good dude. He is helping to solve the social issues of our time, and teaching misguided and unguided men how to embrace their masculinity.
Story time! I remember a roommate of mine in college. He was very autistic, like an actual psychiatrist diagnosed him with it, it is not me just speculating. His thought was literally, because he told me and my roommates often: "Girls like big chests, big shoulders, and they don't care about legs or back. So I should get the biggest chest possible, and then girls will come to me." So what he did was he trained chest (with poor technique) about 4 times per week. He always walked around in baggy pants to hide his tiny legs, but a tight shirt/polo/tanktop to hightlight his chest. His personality was odd and nobody really liked to talk to him. It wasn't bad, but just... a bit awkward. And would you've guessed it... no girls came to him. His physique was a pretty well developed chest and shoulders, but his back was so weak that his shoulders caved in forward. So he walked around like a stiff goblin, afraid to make eyecontact and having terrible conversations with anyone (men and women). His solution to find women? Tinder. Didn't work. His profile pictures got more and more catfishy, and he needed better and better lighting becaus in his mind "Big chest + good pictures = women will just come to you." Again, he told us this, this was his strategy. And guess what happend next... no girls came to him. Just looking at his face and physique without the over-emphasis on his chest; he was not an ugly dude. His way of thinking about game and his psychological thinking about how to approach women was just way off. If he would just developed a personality and courage to talk to women, joke around, flirt a bit, he would be amazed what kinds of women would be interested in him. We tried to convince him but... he refused to listen. After a while, he bought Tinder Gold and Bumble Gold or whatever it is called. He got some matches, some dates, with pretty normal woman. But it wasn't what he wanted; they weren't good enough. He also didn't get laid, because there were no second dates or midway on the first date the girl had to "prepare for a presentation tomorrow" or "was a bit sick and wanted to go home". Remember, his train of thought was that a big chest and great upperbody frontal physique like chest, abs, and shoulders would equal that beautiful women would just flock to him. So, he hopped on gear to make his chest bigger. First a little test, then eventually the heavier stuff like tren and anavar. At this point I already moved out, but my roommates informed me that he indeed got bigger, but got more emotional in the proces. Probably due to the large amount of gear he was on. The latest news is that he is laggin in his study, has had some sex with some women but they weren't good enough, and still is on high amounts of gear. He starts getting injuries because of the bad posture he developed, and also has a great debt for all the gear, gym equipment, Tinder Gold and whatever he buys. Moral of the story: just don't do what my roommate did. This is just fucking stupid. Work out, have fun, develop your physique, talk to a woman, be scared the first couple of times but go through with it, learn that it will always be a bit scary but it could create amazing growth for you personally, and lastly: skip steroids.
What you mean to say is, don't be autistic. He didn't have a "mentality". He has specific brain functions that create limitations on his ability to think past a narrow literal observation. You're asking him to do something that is impossible.
Solid video. The guys in the “noble natty” (god I hate that term) community have done a lot of good stuff on RUclips but there’s still a lot of them who don’t seem to have balance in their life and they themselves fall into the trap sometimes of thinking people who don’t want to train 6 even 7 days a week are lacking in work ethic. No dude, we just have other stuff we want to do in life that doesn’t involve the gym.
They’ve basically turned their biggest coping mechanism into their personality. Imagine training 6-7 days per week for hours each day, and you don’t even compete or play a serious sport. It’s no surprise why they get so emotional about these topics; their entire identity is wrapped in it.
This is important . Your identity must come from within: You are a not gym rat , you’re someone who likes going to the gym. Never tie your destiny to something that can be taken from you.
Great video. Relying on gaining girls approval for self esteem is always a mistake. Even if you get her, and you're relying on her liking you for your self worth, that can always change. You're giving all of your power to her.
That happens way too often, guys either get muscular, or get a ton of money and think they’re suddenly gonna be getting way more girls and will be way more confident and happy in life. A lot of rich guys and even guys who get muscular are complete simps and awkward to be around. So rarely does getting money or getting big change their life like that.
Built my own home gym 4 years ago. I train at my own pace that suits me (yes I train hard) and get pretty good results. I actually enjoy my training sessions and I don't have to worry about "gym culture", getting recorded and or criticised on the net etc etc etc. Total peace of mind and a decent workout :)
Also certain compounds esp stuff like Tren or even high dose test will change your personality to an extent. You’ll be way more aggressive and short tempered.
Yeah, I’ve been lifting for 6 years, even since I stopped playing high school sports. Now that I work an office job, I really see social dynamics play out, and realize there’s so much more to life than looking pretty and lifting weights. Hobbies, things to get you out and talking to a wide variety of people, really matter. A lot of people can be social butterflies in ‘their crowd’ but crumble when they are in a group that thinks in a totally different way.
I recently got into the best shape of my life, and I felt miserable. I thought it would be way better, but now I have a lack of energy, lifts suffered, constantly thinking about food, and loss of interest in my hobbies. I would suggest setting realistic goals, not because it isn’t possible to reach insane levels of fitness/leanness, but because it literally becomes your life at that level. I am at the point where I am finding that I’m happier with working out as a hobby and not an obsession lol.
@@REVIVALFitness definitely. I started working out to get stronger and in better shape, but it became worse than that. I hope more young people listen to advice like this so they can avoid that altogether
Can relate. Thought getting jacked would fix everything. It fixed not being jacked. If anything, it shed light on the glaring fucking flaws in my personality, decisions, and mental health. I’m glad I took to the path, but man, it does not stop at the gym, far from it.
This is a Great message to young men. I wish someone told me this when I was younger. I’m 40 now, but when I was 19 I took a bunch of gear thinking I would gain confidence, get hot girls and “wow” people with my physique. I was 5’7”… went from 140lbs soaking wet to 200lbs and jacked. It was cool at first, or so I thought. It gave me false confidence, got laid by a bunch of superficial women, got more attention than I ever had, and on the outside I looked like the man. But on the inside I was suffering with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and no sense of self. By 21, I crashed and burned. Had to go away to rehab for 3 months bc of all the other drugs I was doing. In rehab I had to face myself and start working on the insides. After rehab I went to therapy for years and learned to like myself without steroids or any of the other things I was doing to get attention or be accepted by people. I’ve been blessed to stay sober since I’m 21 and have not taken any PED’s since. The gym is an important part of my life, but it’s not the end all be all. After I got sober and stopped taking PED’s and other drugs my life got so much better. I regret having taken steroids and wish I never messed with that stuff. My health was screwed up for a while and I have nasty stretch marks to remind me of what knuckle head I was. Anyway, I became a licensed therapist and work with a lot of young people who suffer from the same ailments I did. Your message is super important and I hope at least one of your followers listens, because it will save them a potential life time of struggles and regrets. Sorry for the long comment, but your message in this video is spot on and really hit home. Keep up the good work and making quality content with real messages for young men trying to navigate life ✌🏼@REVIVALFitness
I don't lift for women. I don't lift for any superficial reason. I lift because I love lifting. It is the biggest thing in my life right now, and I'm not ashamed of that. I'm proud of it. It's awesome, man. Sometimes it's tough, but through the harsh times and the easy, I keep learning and growing. I don't care about women. I do want love. I want a wife, I want a big gaggle of kids. I want that deepest connection with a woman, where we completely understand each other. I'm a real romantic. However, I'm not worried I'll miss that chance. If I meet a woman who seems pleasant, I'll try to get to know her, but I don't think about this stuff, man. I'm happy in myself. For me, lifting has made my life so much better, and I would do it even if women found strength and muscularity repulsive. I don't put a ho on a piedestal. She's gotta do more than just be female to be special.
I needed this vid. I've been on and off from the gym and feeling like shit about it. I used to go 5x a week then 4x a week just hammering shit out. Now I'm almost done with college, have a gf, looking for real employment, etc. I have to remind myself that the gym isn't everything like it used to be and that's okay! Even if I only get 1 workout a week and I'm weaker than I was, my life is fulfilled in other aspects.
At my gym the other day I saw this guy with extra huge arms. I told him "whatever you are on it's working". He told me he's off cycle right now he's usually twice as big and shredded. I told him he's living the dream and he gave me the most unenthusiastic "yeah". It really is never enough I suppose.
3:18 you're the first fitness influencer I've seen adressing this. I think for a lot of people this confidence thing is a lot more important than just getting bigger or whatever, at least it was the case for me. I was - Imma be honest, still am sometimes - tempted as fuck to take gear for that exact reason, especially after I had a bad week/month at the gym or had a shitty nightout. To anyone who is tempted, follow my mantra: gear is expensive, and when you're feeling down, imagine that times 10 and that's how you'll feel off cycle. This always helps me get back on track.
Great video. Working out does build confidence. But, people still have to become secure with themselves. I know a lot of bros who look amazing but they have zero confidence with girls. I’m like : “bruh , I’m 5’4 and I ain’t struggling with girls. It’s not that serious.”
Nothing but facts. So many people nowadays are making the gym their entire identity. Gym and anime. So many dudes don’t realise that the barrier to having an attractive body isn’t that high, so dedicating yourself to the gym with hopes to get more women is foolish, because after a point it won’t make much difference, and eventually becomes a detriment. I’ve not met one girl in my life that likes mass monsters, and to me they look like sh*t. The gym is just an hour or two a few days a week, outside of that is far more important, it’s what you started working out for in the first place. And, once you see the result of a few hours a week on your body, you’ll realise what a few hours a week can do for other aspects of your life.
Man what a great video it really is important to have a life outside the gym. The other thing is even if you’re training hard 6 times a week, each workout is only like 1-2 hours max so that is not a large portion of your day. People really act like going to the gym is an all day activity I swear
That’s literally one of my coworkers I’ve spend 2 years on my physique and a certified coach and my co worker begged me to train him and after one workout session and pushing him hard in the gym sense he said he wanted to get big and he flaked saying the bigger dudes intimidated him and he started taking sarms without working out or dieting and got disappointed when he didn’t get big saying he just wants to be able to get a gf

Im 41.. Lifting constantly now for 3 years.. Best shape of my life! That being said... Im running out of young years and although ive never looked better, I wanna see what a couple cycles of Test will do..been researching since year 2.. was going to wait until next cutting phase.. Been wrestling with this decision for a while. I just want to see how far I can push before my bones wont allow it!
I'm not going to shame you for it. I would say, if you know the consequences and are willing, make sure you find a reliable 'source.' At your age, you might be able to get it legally from a doctor assuming you're in the US.
I wouldn't do it, man. You're not gonna feel any better for it, you're gonna feel bad for not being as big as others, your tendons and nervous system won't be prepared for the heavy weights, you won't get as big as the given amount of drugs would permit because you haven't learned how to train well enough to achieve it, you'll likely fall off after a while and stop training altogether because you've robbed yourself of both the journey and the ability to take pride in your results, and then you'll have all these health issues and much lower testosterone levels than you would've had if you hadn't touched the stuff in the first place, and you'll lose 10 or 20 years of lifespan because of it, with a permanent feeling of body dysmorphia and regret. I don't like these excuses well-meaning people like REVIVAL make nowadays for taking steroids under certain circumstances. It's just pointless, man. It's greed. You'll be happier when you're 45 and deadlifting 450-500 lbs, maybe more (204.5-227 kg), and still pulling that at age 60 or even older, than you'll be with drugs. What does it matter if you're 100 lbs stronger and 20 lbs bigger than you'd be otherwise? It's a total myth that it's just over for you after 60, 50, 45, 40, 35... some genuinely believe in 25! You certainly can vouch for that being nonsense. A man of good habits is good to his last day.
@@TheBcoolGuy I appreciate your concern. Im not a typical person though. I dont have body dsymorphia, Im super happy with what ive built to this point and the Test Im considering taking isnt like blasting. I was going to do 250mg a week which isnt much higher then a typical TRT amount. Plus Ive already run blood work many times and my natural test is low. Plus Im not looking to lift crazy amounts of weights. Im currently benching 285 and look forward to hitting 315 one day. I truly appreciate your feedback though. I still have more research to do.
Patients is a virtue. I’d rather train for long term results and actually keep my results rather than take sarms and PEDs and steroids and all that bs. Think long term when it comes to fitness. Enough with the short term mentality that you will regret in the long run. Love the video I’m now a new subscriber🙏🏾💯
Great video! Your perspective is so important when it comes to the real issues affecting men that are often only masked with PED use. Such words of wisdom to a 20 year old like me!
3:42 It's not even a band-aid. It's just tearing the wound open further. What you need if you lack confidence and direction is to build the habit and mindset of independence, capability, and not letting things control you. You may be smaller, fatter, less wealthy, dumber, weaker, or any other number of things than someone else, but why do you care? If you're doing all you can to achieve your goals, it's only a matter of patience. Why compare yourself to people who have already reached their goal? Learn to laugh at yourself and let your shoulders down. It's okay. A crucial part of having a good life is to enjoy it and not waste it being sad, worried, angry, or bitter. We live in this imperfect world together, and we are who we are. When you realise that that's who you are, that tension will be resolved and you'll be free to proceed with achieving your goals and enjoying life. Women will notice your newfound confidence in who you are and there'll no longer be that awkwardness or impenetrable barrier between you and them. After all, how do you think a woman is gonna look up to, and as such be interested in, a guy who sees getting her as a miracle?
I knew a guy who was in good shape and actually good-looking. However, whenever a girl expressed an interest in him, he often thought that it was a joke or some sort of plot/conspiracy that she was hatching. Often they'd lose interest as he just got weird. His paranoia was really bad. He often wouldn't leave his house or apartment due to him believing people were conspiring to get him.
To avoid being attached to the gym and avoid developing some body dysmorphia (aIso getting attached tho the pump ) I usually take a week off once the gym once every 3 months and I avoid looking at myself on the mirror throughout the workout unless it necessary (I absolutely think it’s unhealthy looking at a mirror for and hour or more)
I wear just regular sports clothes to the gym to keep body dysmorphia at bay. Wide shorts and a big black shirt. Keeps me from obsessing how I look at any moment or comparing myself to all the stringer+tights dudes. It has a hilarious side effect where people look at you in disbelief when you move some serious weight with correct form and good ROM. Other than that it had really helped me to not care at all what they think or how I measure up to other physiques
I used to be a major gymcel. Then I took up ballroom and latin dancing (competitive and social) as a hobby as a way to get out of my gymcel ways. Needless to say, it worked. Its how I eventually met my wife. Tho I didnt take it up as a way to meet chicks. It just ended up that way.
Bro your channel is a gem.I was maingaining for a year literally made no progress (was unable to lift even 10kg dumbbells with proper form) .Then I started bulking 5 months ago and can do 25 kg (each side)for 10+reps and noticing so major changes in my body.I just wanna say thank you to you😊
GREAT video, with a lot of great points. But I couldn't help but feel like this was freshly recorded after being brutally mogged by the 16 y/o sarm goblins at your local gym XD.
Really, really good message. I’ve seen lots of guys build nice physiques (natty or not idk and idc) and think that entitles them to women. Then they get upset when women say “no thanks”. Then they get confused and upset and give off the weenie/incel vibes of “women suck”. People need to build themselves in other ways besides their body. I 100% agree with your message.
Realest Video I have seen in a while RF. I think that many young guys need to reconsider if they started lifting for the right reasons and continued it for these or perhaps a better reason like health and disciplin. I for myself started for the wrong reasons but now feel fairly calm and collected. The gym is something I look forward to 4x a week but thats it. Great Video mate!
Man, this industry has gotten so much worse since the time when I started getting into gym culture, roughly 12 years ago.. I imagine the temptation to take stuff is pretty big nowadays. I remember I had tons of friends who started lifting at this time, and I only knew ONE guy who decided to start taking test, and we flamed the ever living shit out of him lol. Everyone thought he was a complete idiot for doing it, and he eventually stopped. Now it seems like it's the norm to be on something..
It’s not uncommon for people to go on within a year of stepping foot in the gym. It’s just another aspect of the lifestyle. Especially when you want to get big online, the gear look is a cornerstone.
Super good video. Self-esteem should mainly come from your internal beliefs, not from external things like women and your physique. I've been down that hole and it sucks
That's why I'll never be fully engrossed in anything, whether it's fitness, and even my hobbies. Because if there's going to be a lot of sacrifices needed to truly gain an elite level, it should be something that would pay off after all those hours and efforts put into it. What I find weird about these fitness influencers is that fitness and the gym is all there is with them. No sport, nothing but being big AF. There is nothing else you see other than just a facade of them being the 'big tough guy'.
And then they call themselves "athletes" despite playing no sports. LOL. If you want to be big for the sake of it, just be honest with yourself. The look and lifestyle are real, but that doesn't make you a sportsman.
What you had written at 2:14 is so true. I’d venture to say it’s a bit more nuanced than that though. It takes heavy cycles of PEDs that most normal people can’t afford or even tolerate the side affects from over many, many years combined with good genetics to look really impressive and be strong on gear. The fake natties who look like shit have some combination of the following going on: they either train really bad, they don’t push themselves to get significantly stronger, they eat like shit or undereat, or their genetics just don’t respond well to gear. But then again some naturals also don’t respond too well to training and will not get huge and or very strong either even if their training and diet is on point. Also a lot of the underground gear people are buying is fake or severely underdosed low quality shit. The stuff these teenagers and college kids are using isn’t pharmaceutical grade.
Very interesting video. I actually met wife before I set foot in a gym. She's been with me from a skinny 160lbs to 196 lbs very well built. She likes my new gym bod but it's definitely not that important to her. I also go to the gym at 4.30am because it's the only time I can fit it in. Between work, cooking, cleaning and looking after my kids, I don't really have the time to do it anytime else. So my life definitely does not revolve around the gym. I do love the gym and it's really important to my physical and mental wellbeing but it's very much on the side of the rest of my life
I gave up the gym 2 years ago. No regrets, Save money for sure. Going for a walk/jog and some bodyweight stuff @ the park with the dip and pull up bars. Along with my 1200-1750 calorie per day, Is good enough for me to maintain 155lbs @ 6' 0". I don't want mass so it's easier for me to have a body I want (slim, shapely low BF%) than for others that desire mass and more mass.
I met my wife in a gym in 1994 and still married today. Yes, we both still train to this day. I have set 21 Canadian powerlifting records since and recently retired from competition and now just do bodybuilding
The sigma grindset thing never appealed to me. They say focus all on getting money, muscles and cars. A question in my mind always pops up. “What was it all for?” What’s the point of all of that. Family make our lives have purpose and friends makes our experiences memorable. That’s why you’ll sometimes see a depressed man suddenly snap out of depression when he learns he has a child on the way.
I can relate being 28 year old virgin (not kissless or hugless). Took a lot of courage to break out of my shell and start dating girls. I still suck, but I am improving with every time, especially as I moved to city having lived in small village my entire life.
It's sad to see that the young generation is so dependent on external quick 'fixes'. On one side you have the queer non binary trans so over obsessed with appearance taking hormones and on the other side the sigma macho man so over obsessed with appearance taking hormones. They need to fix themselves inside and it is not something that happens quickly, it takes time and effort. Growing up, maturing, takes years. Pop psichology is lowering the standards by telling people 'you are ok just the way you are, people have to accept you, you don't need to change' and that's the worst advice for anyone. No one is perfect, we can always learn more and improve ourselves, we'll be doing this until we die. There are no shortcuts, bear your burden, take the challenge, embrace the struggle.
i took steroids when i was 19 and don’t regret it, i’ve done a couple cycles blasting and cruising and have built a pretty impressive physique, i now mostly cruise and maintain at 5,7 170 10% bodyfat 150 test is enough to keep me looking like this year round and steroids have changed my life, i have had so much success with dating and life and people treat me so much better. i don’t regret it.
This is the case for a lot of guys, general life improvement on them. The natty zealots would say “lol you could do that without them you loser, way to compromise your health,” etc.
@@REVIVALFitness its about the timeframe i can have the physique that would take 10 years to achieve in 1-2 years and look impressive at 20, life has become too competitive because of social media. most men will likely die alone because they are undesirable.
This is so true. I got jacked over this past year and cleared all the acne on my face yet I still have problems getting girls becuase I have no interests aside from lifting, working, or sex and I have a moderate stutter. Legit the only action I get is at massage parlors LOL
Lifting it is necessary for every man, but it cannot be the only goal in man life and the older a man is, the less appearance and muscles matter It's about money and whether a man can support a woman and her children
This video was an eye-opener. I used to be the stereotypical fat gamer kid, and gaming was all I did. I ended up replacing gaming with gyming, and increasing fitness related knowledge. But now that's all I do, besides uni work. For a long time, I've had the thought that i needed other hobbies, and this video kinda validated that thought. Thanks RF
I’ve gained a lot of confidence from working out since in my eyes its bettered my appearance and I had a pretty good deal of confidence before I started working out but I’d I wasn’t able to workout i don’t think there would be another way to regain the confidence I’d lose from my body losing muscle overtime, unless I was to position myself around people who only uplifted me which is something I don’t think i would do but I can’t say I wouldn’t do it because I haven’t needed to choose to or not. I think everyone is brave and confident to varying extents but I also think everyone depends on other’s opinions of them being positive to feel confident to an extent so I think telling lifters not to depend on their physique looking good in order to have confidence is a good idea, but I also think it doesn’t contribute to someone gaining confidence healthily since they’ll eventually find something else to get “artificial” confidence from or just always have a big lack of confidence.
As always coming through with the best fitness content. That’s the first thing I figured out after I lifted for 9 months was that this is just one aspect of self improvement. I think it’s important to understand that it’s a good starting point, but it’s supposed to help you to find other interests to help build yourself as a person.
Lifting weights is the minimum. If you really care about physical prowess (and not just vanity) pick up a sport like MMA for example. What's the point of looking big and tough if you aren't?
This one hit hard bro ☠️ Nah but fr I am a very insecure person and really want to work on my confidence- not on PEDS, i’m fifteen. How would you recommend one works on their self confidence?
It's hard to write a prescription for this, but generally, you need to get better at things you aren't good at or are nervous about. For a lot of guys this is public speaking and things related to that. Check out my old video "how to get better at talking to girls."
People hope that they are going to be more of a man mentally from hormones, when fact is that the mental state is a balance, taking more than what your body is going to produce can do the straight opposite, making you an anxious insecure and emotional dude, yet that's what you're running from, men are not made by their hormones, the hormones is just the very base of a male, learning shiz irl is what's going to to make your character, not playing chemist on your own body.

I think a lot of dudes get into fitness and get consistent with it and think thats all they needed for self improvement. After doing it consistently for 6 months I realized taking care of my body was kind of the bare minimum
At the hardcore level, your mental and physical health have to take hits to reach the size and strength standards

Interesting point on having kids. People now especially seem to get very caught up in their newest 'thing' and everything else falls to the wayside.
It’s wild .

Wow thank you for writing this all out, that was a very entertaining 2 minutes for me

Your identity must come from within:
You are a not gym rat , you’re someone who likes going to the gym. Never tie your destiny to something that can be taken from you.

A vital video. I’ve known many guys who lost relationships, so much money and more because of obsession with this pursuit - and for no real payoff.
That's the dagger. Burying yourself in the hardcore lifestyle just to place 8th for years.
Great video. Relying on gaining girls approval for self esteem is always a mistake. Even if you get her, and you're relying on her liking you for your self worth, that can always change. You're giving all of your power to her.
Yessir.

Your story is relatable to many guys. Glad you are doing well and helping others.
SURVIVAL G4P. Nice background bro

Lifting, anime, and being a pseudo intellectual. The holy trinity of the modern gymcel.

Man what a great video it really is important to have a life outside the gym. The other thing is even if you’re training hard 6 times a week, each workout is only like 1-2 hours max so that is not a large portion of your day. People really act like going to the gym is an all day activity I swear
It's normal for younger guys to be in the gym for 3-4 hours

as guys start building muscle and putting on mass, at a certain point you stop lifting for the female gaze and it starts being for the bro/male gaze.

Very well said bro.

Good idea. I started volunteering as a basketball and flag football coach for my city. I spent too much time working out and focused on myself.

Then they get confused and upset and give off the weenie/incel vibes of “women suck”. People need to build themselves in other ways besides their body. I 100% agree with your message.

Your views on this subject is timely and certainly balanced.

Looking jacked !🏋️
Thank you 🤜🤛
I workout to relieve stress. I see it as a privilege VS a chore now compared to my younger years.
I can relate being 28 year old virgin (not kissless or hugless). Took a lot of courage to break out of my shell and start dating girls.
I still suck, but I am improving with every time, especially as I moved to city having lived in small village my entire life.
Good points
Its called blasting and cruising brah 😂👌🏻
This is a great video. It really hits hard!
🤝
I love this message. So needed today.
🤜🤛
I needed this bro
🤝
i took steroids when i was 19 and don’t regret it, i’ve done a couple cycles blasting and cruising and have built a pretty impressive physique, i now mostly cruise and maintain at 5,7 170 10% bodyfat 150 test is enough to keep me looking like this year round and steroids have changed my life, i have had so much success with dating and life and people treat me so much better. i don’t regret it.
Can you do a video on MarioRios, he promotes "I don't wanna get too big" type of mindset
Good stuff
This is so true. I got jacked over this past year and cleared all the acne on my face yet I still have problems getting girls becuase I have no interests aside from lifting, working, or sex and I have a moderate stutter. Legit the only action I get is at massage parlors LOL
Props for the honesty. If you aren't naturally chosen by women, you will probably need to utilize social circle and such.
Good video as always. Im curious to know, what do you do outside of working out?
Lifting it is necessary for every man, but it cannot be the only goal in man life
and the older a man is, the less appearance and muscles matter
It's about money and whether a man can support a woman and her children
You remind me of Massive Iron Steve Shaw and kinda resemble a younger version of him. Pardon my random observation...
Thanks RF

Business meeting with the gains
🤝💪🏼📈
He shaved his chest for this one
💪🏼
6:24 Sounds pretty good to me 😩😩🦶
Good content !!
Thank you
As always coming through with the best fitness content. That’s the first thing I figured out after I lifted for 9 months was that this is just one aspect of self improvement. I think it’s important to understand that it’s a good starting point, but it’s supposed to help you to find other interests to help build yourself as a person.
Thank you 🤜🤛
How dare you say I'm coping about my self loathing and crippling inferiority complex by trying to get jacked?
Pure facts
🗣
Lifting weights is the minimum. If you really care about physical prowess (and not just vanity) pick up a sport like MMA for example. What's the point of looking big and tough if you aren't?
Great video 😂
🤝
This one hit hard bro ☠️
Nah but fr I am a very insecure person and really want to work on my confidence- not on PEDS, i’m fifteen.
