- Part 1 (of 3) of the Le Presse "Gourmet Foodstyler" infomerical hosted by Beau Rials and Cathy Mitchell. The product is a huge benchtop object that is perfect for those who find chopping up a tomato too hard. It's also one of the worst infomericals I've ever seen, mainly for the Le Presse Salad Challenge at the start of part three. Enjoy!

And the La Presse only takes up the counter space of a full size fridge.
That's why I got rid of mine. I loved it, but it took up so much space.

my parents got me one of these when I was like 11. I maybe used it to cut apples like twice.

I love mine....found it at a thrift store and they really should be marketing it to home canners! We had an overflow of green tomatoes so I made green tomato relush, chutney...quick as a flash with the la presse. Perfect size for chopping...and green tomatoes can be a bear.! Also have two bushels of Apple's to do tomorrow for sauce...butter and pie filling. Too bad they don't make this any ore....there's a market out there.....
I'm glad you pounted this out. Just today, I found her original infomercial for the snakmaster back in 1990. She said she had twin boys and a daughter in college. I found a quote from her online recently saying she has two grown children. Ummmmm
It's the background music near the end that really wraps up the plot well.

Partly Damaged from mostly being plastic, But I still use it to this day.
I love my Le Presse!I use it allot. Mashed potatoes are so nice. I use it to chop my onions and for french fries.
I found one of these in a dumpster (enough said) and wondered what the hell it was.
Now I can mix my kielbasa and apples and fight over the potato cores with the other kids!

Not to be morbid, but I do hope we someday get a deathbed confessional from Cathy Mitchell revealing what exactly she really does use in her kitchen.
I used to own one, and I got rid of it. I regret that. It wasn't quite as easy as it looks, but pretty close. I got rid of it because it took up space, but it made food prep so simple. Now I like making vegan sushi for 100 once or twice a year, and on those days, I think fondly of this. eBay, here I come.

I had one I lent out. Never got it back. I got my second one a newer one. My first was heavy duty. The second is plastic and doesn’t work as well. Unhappy.

Nobody wants a cylinder potato wedge loll. She probably just said that so people don't realize that the machine can't make wedges without a hole. 😂
