I've been hand pollinating my pawpaws here in Wisconsin for two days now, we have escaped the frost, and the trees are loaded with blossoms! I think it's going to be a good year!
Hi Jim it was my first time hand pollinating this year ( last week ) . I did some flowers when they were green but slightly open. Do you think they will take? Or do you only pollinate when flowers are burgundy. Thank you
I have done that, but I go back and pollinate again for good measure in a day or two. By then, they should be starting to change color. Some flowers I've hit 3 times. Thx for watching 👀.

Подскажите можно тормозить рост этого дерева прищипывая молодые побеги?Сейчас мое дерво в таком же цветущем состоянии как и у вас,но размер участка не позволяет иметь большое дерево.Как и когда вы его обрезаете.Надеюсь на ответ.

I lost flowers due to freeze, but I have my Shanadoah and Allegheny with fruit this year. Lansing mi.
