That's a good tip splitting the tree pot and adding dirt to hold the potting soil around the roots. I'll use that. Thanks Jim.

I reuse mine too. So I just flipped them upside down while holding the stem in my hand so it slides out.

Interesting idea but I use my tree pots for years so I don't think I'll be cutting them up. Also, if the seedlings are well rooted in the pots they come out with rootball intact anyway IME.
This was mostly created for the occasional buyer. But I have to admit it is a pretty good trick. Thx for watching 👀
