Well there is another animation where Altair kicks him. 3:57 - Altair kicks him, there is another animation where the blow to the face is repeated previously Afterwards there is another counterattack where Altair deflects the sword and then elbows him. @@game4ref I was playing and I discovered that you can also kill the enemy lying face down. Altair kills the guard with the Hidden Blade behind his head. To do this you have to counterattack a guard who has a lot of life and Altair has to elbow him or kick him in the belly to make him fall. Then you do a "Light Step" that movement that makes Altair approach the guard and takes out his Defense.
The assassination animations where Basim walks while killing the target with just one hit are the best for me, they give me complete Arno vibes, it would be cool if there were more animations like that in Mirage or at least that they would be repeated more often.
I see other channels have a lot of incorrect and duplicate animations. But this is the most accurate and complete I've ever seen. What an underrated video. Hope to get more views!
I really like the sword moves. A bit simplistic but they look nice and fluid. Plus it’s in-character that someone that’s only been learning to fight recently would rely on a more simplified skill set.

Sad that there is only one "high profile" assassination (which was taken from Valhalla, obviously). If there was at least 4 different animations, I think game would feel way better. Also, some of "low profile" animations are quite fast, but some of them really long, which sometimes bothers your stealth, especially when you're killing 3 or 4 enemies inside of 1 smoke bomb and there is low chance that you will kill all 4 of them because fast animations were triggered, or you unlucky and you kill only two of them because you triggered 2 long animations.

Man they went through all that effort to make all those knock out animations,they should’ve given us the option to switch between lethal and non lethal.
I don’t understand why the assassination animation takes soo long, it not practical It really cool when you are killing one enemy it adds wight and depth to the assassination But when you are facing multiple guys at once And the animation takes like 3 seconds it’s not practical enough
Well... I guess I might give it a try. I still think the fighting style is lacking though. I would like the fighting from assassin's creed 2 or brotherhood to come back though.
I was hesitant when they first showed the combat in Mirage, but still gave the game a try anyways. When you play it, you might get put off by the rpg combat style, but after a while you tend to not notice it since the game (like the devs mentioned) is truly more focused on stealth rather than fighting. It's even shown in the loading screen that Basim was never skilled in combat, which is a nice touch to lore
@@D1brozyeah, i thought the same, like "oh, they actually took their time to correct some animations or change them for other ones like bayek high profile assessination because basim doesn't have the hidden blade yet, i guess if they took that effort maybe its because we can use them later in the game even if we have the hidden blade, like a toggle on/off option"
@@game4ref I found out that finishing with a series of at least of two strikes triggers an animation. Depending on which order of light and heavy attacks you land, it triggers a different animation. Also if your last strike intercepts the attack of your opponent and simultaneously is the last needed strike it triggers an animation too. The problem is I can't trigger the most fancy ones, they seem to be quite random.

They re-used unity animations for those, so they have an Arno feel for a reason.

They should have brought back the double assassinations in quick motion like Arno does.

I think I got it. For the fancy one you need at least three opponents. The last kill of the fight is fancy, the rest is normal or counter

I'm wearing a costume called Initiate of Alamut Outfit. If you wear a normal outfit, the cloth will be red 😎
