Speaking of us potentially knowing more than you: I probably mentioned this at some point already, but you used to be able to make Freya unkillable for a try. By healing her with warmth inbetween slapping the heads you can keep her alive, but the partdamage doesn't get healed. This lets you break both heads, resulting in her no longer having any spots you can hit without bouncing off. The only way out was to bonfire/quit out or die. Seen a handful of trolls do this in the vanilla days. No idea if it's still possible.

There was a similar glitch in ds3 where mad summons (the purple covenant) could join you in boss fights and then turn on you and fight you with the boss
8:21 you can acually get the black scorpion stinger if you kill him, he one of those npc that give you items under certain conditions but you can buy them from the old lady if you kill them early, like that scam cleric woman, if you kill her, her set is available to be buyed from the old lady, this way you dont need to level up your faith to get the set.
Dark Souls 2, sadly the game that fixed Ricard's Rapier. Back in Dark Souls 1 the strongest spell was Magic Weapon on Ricard's Rapier, the R2 would deal over 2k damage easy because the full damage of the buff would apply to every individual hit of Ricard's Rapier's R2.

If I recall correctly, you can farm a 2nd Ricard's Rapier. It's either a rare drop from the spiders in brightstone or the lemurs outside Aldia's Manor. Those two mobs have a surprising variety of drops.
Never seen that cave with Rapier. Though I've explored most of the game but nope... 5:40 hey, that jump looks much better than other, more popular one. Neat, might try it next time

I'm 100% back to my beloved, the Mace of the Insolent, tho, kinda hoping to it featured in the channel some day. Also fun are the powerstance greatshields, those are just too funny and deal surprising damage too, even though they're real slow
Funny thing is after playing the trilogy I never payed attention to war-arts until after elden ring. I went back and did NG+ versions of the trilogy. The war arts to ricsrds rapier in DS2 is the best of the 3

Ricard's rapier was my favourite weapon in the game, I basically used it until the end along with the uchigatana with a few exceptions though, mainly when I'm angry I'd just switch to the guts ultra greatsword lol

Just for future reference, you take more damage when you roll down the pit as opposed to walking off the edge slowly, if you have lots of momentum going off the edge it carries you through the air longer and you take more damage. Really not that big of a deal really, but nothing wrong with knowing I guess.
