Imagine being defeated by manus,just for a random to come and absolutely destroy him and hundreds of years later another random steals your weapons and also destroys the remaining fragments of your enemy,couldn't be artorias

But Artorias never fought Manus, they never met in lore, Artorias was simply consumed by the abyss, I think by humanity phantoms

Bruh the first random is the soul of cinder literally more powerful than Gwyn himself and the second random is literally an immortal being without the curse of hollowing.
@@KUNUx1bro wym chosen undead is the soul of cinder? Secondly, chosen undead beated a consumed gwyn far after his prime and even at the start of the fire age he gave lots of chunks of his soul to his children and knights. But yeah they are definitely randoms tho you are right about that

Gotta say, your videos was the tipping point for me to fire up Dark Souls 2 after close to 10 years, they gave me a lot of inspiration for my first playthrough in a long while.
The pursuer greatsword is actually super good considering it's high counter damage. Some other DS2 RUclipsrs consider it the best ultra greatsword.
Counter damage? But it has no pokes, does dark souls 2 has a separated mechanic from the piercing attacks or something?
@@abrahamrangel2326counter dmg doesn't apply to only pokes. All weapons have a stat near the bottom that indicates it's counter dmg. You can activate with any attack. But there is a ring that boost counter dmg for thrust weapons.

@@well_thats_fantastic I think he was referring to the DS1 mechainc, only thrust weapons can counter attack I believe, but in this game it works
Honestly seeing a bewitched alonne sword build would be dope as its 100% my favorite weapon
To compliment the Lighting Engine mod make sure you pick up the SOFTS texture overhaul mod. The mod creator AI upscaled all the textures in the game. Both really enhance the game experience and make DS2 feel new
and now also the visual overhaul which further improves lighting

The different lighting mod makes Dark Souls 2 look absolutely beautiful. Imagine if this is how the game were to come out.

@Iranofideaswhilewritingthis334 huh. I never played it before the remaster so I'll take your word for it. I thought ds1 was the best game out of all of the fromsoft games but I just started ds3 and it's growing on me. Idk.

I've always loved doing and seeing boss builds in from soft games because they "normally" allow you to completely immerse yourself into the game. (And it makes me feel like a badass running through enemies as a boss that gave me so much trouble)
Artorias was one of my favorite bosses, glad you recreate this in ds2. Love your content! ❤❤❤
Have such fond memories of Majestic GS. I learned to use it in my left hand but in PvP so few people used it properly that I could bait people into walking right into the special moves all the time!
Imagine seeing a manslayer build built around poison since poison is really really good in this game for some reason. Also congrats on the 10k!!
In all my years of playing DS2 I never realized that the Majestic Sword was Artorious's sword. Now I gotta go and power it up so I can power stance and do that sweet jump slash I never knew existed in the game.

Respect for being so focused on such a classic (and wrongly criticized) game. I got started on DS3 and didn't get around to giving DS2 a good shot until about a month ago. Man, I feel like it's my favorite DS title. I think it's absolutely bonkers that it gets so much flak from DS fans. I guess I heard that the SOTFS edition was actually a lot better than the original but that was before my time.
