Fear & Hunger is a rogue-like horror JRPG that uses the classic turn-based strategic dismemberment combat system. It has countless secrets, randomized events to give players a new experience each time, included with original soundtracks inspired by the works of Akira Yamaoka.
Fear & Hunger has hours of unforgettable gameplay with diverse character classes and many more different characters to meet and play with. Your fate will be destined with the following action. . . Head, or Tails? Call it and don't forget it was your choice to begin with.
While the gameplay mechanics and art, as well as the previously mentioned songs inspire people to try out the game day and night, what keeps making people come back to the series is the insane amount of replayability, either due to a different starting character or a different build that will increase your strength early game while having a few difficult spikes near the late game obstacles.
It is no surprise that knowledge is what carries a player forward throughout the playthrough, Thus, the more knowledge one has over the many enemies they'll be facing the easier it is going to be to see such things as but easy challenges to the point of not even saving throughout an entire run.
The amount of knowledge that both games (Fear and hunger - Fear and hunger 2 : Termina) provide to the player will get stuck to the player's brain, resulting in not being able to go back to a state where they didn't know how to tackle situations. This is both beneficial and a weakness from the game as once you properly know how to tackle, for example: a Prison Guard then you will not have the benefit of figuring out their puzzle fight.
Every single monster is a puzzle and it's up to the player to blindly figure it out to the answer.
Prison Guard Battle:
The question will still remain in the players. . . Which limb to remove first?
Is it the arm? (Is the Prison Guard going to be grabbing me in the first turn?)
Is it the arm with the knife? (Is it going to cut my arm or is he going to do it in the 2nd turn?)
Is the stinger the actual threat? (Maybe it's not there for decoration and it has a purpose to it?)
Once you figure out how to properly defeat such enemies, you will be able to push yourself forward more and more, to even learning how to evade them without having to get into a fight with a single enemy in your playthrough.

@@alchene321Karin is pretty cool though, at least for the early game. She almost always starts with lugr pistol with 5-6 rounds if you choose either: 1-grab a gun, 2-self defense or 3-default start and has easy access to Escape Plan. If you cheese your way into getting every soul so early the game becomes way too easy, no? Getting Engraving, Bob and Weave, Poison Tip in one go is overpowered as hell

@@StrawberryNUKE you can get undergrowth awereness and toxicology right at the start of the game as Olivia allowing to craft the condensed hemlock, it literally does 4k damage per turn.

After losing Abella, I just couldn't kill anyone else, so I made a deal with myself. Unless the characters attack me, I do not attack
I hope Milo for the next Fear & Hunger makes it easier to let everybody live. I like most characters and I main Marina (seeing her die in the video hurts a bit)
Remember reading somewhere that Milo is looking to eventually add a route/ending that ends more satisfyingly. So maybe we can at least save the party we assemble.

Honestly the most difficult thing about fear and hunger termina is getting myself to kill these characters that I got so invested in, a boss might kill me once, maybe twice, probably 10 times, sometimes 20 times, but I can handle it because sooner or later I'll be back... The character, However, that's some huge emotional damage

Im surprised that Karin is good for this route- I did a run like this with Daan and even on the easiest difficulty it was a struggle (Daans really good survivability helped, but not having any allies through the entire game made that not super useful)
