      All of them have rather... entertaining changes. Enki decides to put a coffin on his head and Ragnvaldr dresses in a bear

      Because it's a reference to all mer possibly, but also look closely at her armor, it looks organic similar to François, considering that have the same soul

    It's pretty much canon that Cahara died bringing the girl to the gauntlet to ascend as the new god, but it's so funny imagining that a mercenary came to the dungeons for a job, treasure, and ended up becoming a new god instead. Even his ascended form is him with no real discernable changes.

    • @Dishonorninja
      @Dishonorninja  6 месяцев назад +28

      Yeah, due to the fact that Cahara is essentially not mentioned at all in Termina, combined with the God of Fear and Hunger most definitely being present, Ending A talks about how you end up forgotten but rewriting the future.
      Cahara ascending is pretty funny, all things considered. "I came here to secure my lover and our child's future, but damn does godhood look good rn"

      He does make an appearance in Termina, but he looks like snake from metal gear solid. My guess would be is that the god of fear and hunger resurrected him to chase after the Kaiser (Le'garde's corrupt form).

    Moral of the story: Share the Gospel

    The fact that you meet a godly version of yourself is quite scary from the perspective of the ones who came seeking power.
    Have you actually become a new god? Or you just created a new being who shares your ideals and some traits of your physical appearance? They were definitly you, but can you say you are them?
    Are you destinated for greatness Or to die in the void while a new being takes your place as a deity?
    I can just imagine Le'garde and Francois meeting their godly forms and completely losing it to the realización that they won't get to enjoy or use their new power.

      The New Gods, both what you can turn into and the ones you fight to reach the Throne of Ascension are completely flipped personalities. Chambara is a good example. He originally believed that pain and suffering made for great art, but, as the Tormented One, this principle has gone way beyond just the idea. He IS suffering personified. And it seems fighting against this is extremely difficult, seeing as only Enki with the Soul Anchor is able to pry himself away from the Throne's influence.

      I can work on it. I haven't done a run with D'arce as a player, since she's basically the best companion with immediate access to Fast Stance and good equipment. Other than that, I should just be able to load a previous save for the other characters since I have a save before the final areas.
      One thing to note tho, is the ending is the exact same regardless of each character. The only thing that actually matters is the two choices you see in the video.

    Just realized the 4 fellowship new gods seem parallel to the character new gods
    Francois=d’arce
    Head=enki
    Endless=charha
    Red man=ragnavalder

    • @Dishonorninja
      @Dishonorninja  Месяц назад +2

      It makes sense! Each of the player characters have a soul associated with one of the New Gods. Cahara has the Endless Soul (Nilvan's soul). D'arce shares her soul of the Dominating One with Francois. Enki is the Enlightened One, of which Valteil lords over. Lastly, the Tormented Soul belongs to Ragnvaldr and Chambara (The Tormented One).

    How is Ending A better?

    • @Dishonorninja
      @Dishonorninja  5 месяцев назад +13

      Ending A is the True ending, and, while not necessarily the "best" ending or even a positive one, it is canonical and necessary to the events of Fear of Hunger 2: Termina. Without the Girl becoming the God of Fear and Hunger, the history of the story would be very different; however, it causes a young girl to mutate into a literal god and her "saviors" to be forgotten and mercy killed. In fact, the "best" ending is likely Cahara's or Ragnvaldr's S endings because it means, 1) Cahara earns enough coin to save his wife and unborn child and 2) Ragnvaldr literally kills everything that's a threat in the dungeon. This is personal opinion though

      @@Dishonorninja The story implies that the endless cycle is partially broken with the creation of another ascended god but playing your cards right as a new god seems to make more of a lasting change.

    • @Dishonorninja
      @Dishonorninja  5 месяцев назад +4

      @@MrSilentProtagonist You're right, becoming a god has the most lasting changes, quite literally rewriting the future. I was mainly pointing out that since Ending A is the true ending, due to it having the most similarities to the events of the sequel, Termina. I personally enjoy getting the true endings most because I accomplish what the game is heading towards the most, plus its usually the ending with the most content too! Though, I think F&H does a great job at making each ending feel unique, especially with the method to earn each one.

      @@Dishonorninja it’s less canon or true and moreso just that it’s the ending that got a sequel. The creators felt they wanted to continue the story with the events of what happened there. Since the different endings are IN the source material, it’s weird to say that they’re not “true” based off of material not in the game.

    • @Mathenaut

      Because Enki is mentioned (and not as a god), that suggests that his S ending is Canon.
