Back in 1970 I was up on the Korean DMZ with an 8 inch motorized (tracked) howitzer unit. In addition to the howitzers we had the usual 5 ton and 2.5 ton trucks. We turned in and it rained like hell that night and all that red clay turned to mud. I can remember a couple of those 5 ton trucks soaked/sucked down into the ooze to the bottoms of their cargo beds! We ended up using the howitzers to get them out in two operations. First take the blades that would normally be used to keep the gun from moving backwards when fired and use them to cut a path in front of the trucks. Second, hook those trucks up to those big tracked guns and yank them out. It was not as easy as I just made it sound either! Nice video folks!

7:49 The montage cutaway had me laughing so hard. I never would have guessed in a thousand lifetimes that I'd ever care about some random recovery company in a different state. Now I obsess over this content like it's a TV show with awesome characters I like to watch.
I use to do recovery back when i was in the Airforce and ill tell you the one thing that I always used that helped me out more than anything when recovering vehicles in Snow (up in alaska) was a Rope Chock Block. Rope Specifically b/c others would slide around on the snow rope wouldnt. However rope flexes as well as grips really well. I can almost promise you if you would get a thick rope about 16 inches around or so and put it on those back tires that thing would of just popped right out... I know it sounds crazy but yall should try it. It worked for me EVERY single time..... minus the time i got a 10k AT forklift stuck 4 feet deep in mud.....
If that guy can roll in a $750,000-$1,250,000 coach I’m sure he can pick up the tab on a small exhaust pipe..... No way I would have charged the folks getting me unstuck for that 🇺🇸🇺🇸🤙🤙
You think a million-dollar bus would have built-in recovery hooks. An idea for Matt's contract "If you are stuck amongst rocks and sand & didn't think ahead enough to have recovery hooks installed, MORR will not be responsible for damages" Eureka, in typing the MORR abbreviation, I just realized where the Morrvair got its name. Took me long enough. 🤪
I’m relatively new to watching Matt and his awesome crew, but hooked already! This is a very talented crew and the videos are well done. I love that their wholesome, without a lot of bad language because I let my little boys watch with me.
I am surprised the RV did not have builtin jacks at each corner for leveling at camp sites, my 1998 georgia boy has manual screw jacks but these new ones should have air powered lift capbility, then all you need is to put wood or rock under the wheels. Great job either way, you got it out!
It's an insurance issue. Matt has insurance for that stuff because the coaches insurance will go after any way not to pay. Matt covers his butt from a surprise bill by getting it fixed right away.
If I was Matt, I would still replace it even if he said don't worry about it because I was the one that broke it. (with that said, we don't know if he did tell him not to worry about it). Also, it's not like Matt did this as a favor, he paid him for his service.
Been subscribed for awhile, this is probably my favorite channel rt now to watch. I appreciate your ethics regarding your business, have come across a few in my lifetime that do this that don’t share the same philosophy. Keep up the great work!
Nice job!!! That rig is a heavy gal, one of the reasons I refuse to take my 3 axle 45 foot motor home off the road. When we would go to Glamis we would spend a lot of time pulling rigs out.
Someone probs already commented but those ‘tag’ axles do lock over a set speed but there is always(I think) a manual lockout switch. Used to drive German made motor coach and it was identical. Also they lock in reverse. Nice videos as always!!
Hey MORR team...love your stuff!! But I have to say, I just about jumped out of my skin when you had Lizzy climb under that coach and here is why......these big coaches sit on air bags for suspension (not leaf springs) and with a push of a button, could easily be deflated, lowering the coach another 3-4". My point is, I hope every was made aware of this risk, because a simple mistake while this eager young lady was under the coach could have had a horrible outcome. I don't fancy myself a a safety nazi but this one got to me good! Carry on team!
You guys are great! Please dont change this formula. Everything is a perfect blend here. The music, talking, jokes and so on. Just a pleasure to watch :) oh yeah, I think the mugs sold at your store looks great, so i ordered one!
I have a similar coach that I've had stuck a couple of times in mud and sand. I used the leveling jacks to raise it up then fill in under the tires. A jeep was able to pull me out. It took doing it a couple of times because I was in deep sand. ~jw
You can see it has levelers at 1:16, jack it and shore it until you're able to get the tires on something solid. We get these snowmobile guys with giant R/Vs stuck every year, do yourself a favor and get some used sled tracks and stud them, then unroll them under the tires for traction, it's worked for us for decades.
I really thought this one might have been too big/heavy for the 4x4 Matt. Lizzie did well and the winch probably helped a lot. Great job though - well done.👍👌😁

Hard to believe something that small could get stuck in loose sand like that.
Funny how that happens
@LUCKY JOE I think they're more like fifty thousand pounds
Congratulations, Liz won new pants ! I didn't know that rear wheels on this kind of bus can change their rotation axis ! Quite good !
Lizzy has proven her worth again! Great addition to the team and the videos. Does the dirty work and handles the Morvair like a pro! Awesome job guys and great video work.
7:49 The montage cutaway had me laughing so hard.
I never would have guessed in a thousand lifetimes that I'd ever care about some random recovery company in a different state. Now I obsess over this content like it's a TV show with awesome characters I like to watch.
Wow, you did it! All without a full-sized big-rig wrecker. Amazing! Great teamwork!
8:13 Matt calls it a school bus 🤣
Love the genuine feel of your videos. Nice work!
The way the Morvair bounces back at the beginning of the video gives an idea of what's to come
I use to do recovery back when i was in the Airforce and ill tell you the one thing that I always used that helped me out more than anything when recovering vehicles in Snow (up in alaska) was a Rope Chock Block.
I am amazed at the places people drive their vehicles. I always ask 'what were they thinking?' Kuddos to Lizzy for crawling under the RV.
Free camping at BLM land is a drawl.. :)
Yes! Wife and I go to the cruise in every year. Hopefully, see you there.
The best recovery ever........ is the Lizzy recovery. Awesome video.
If that guy can roll in a $750,000-$1,250,000 coach I’m sure he can pick up the tab on a small exhaust pipe..... No way I would have charged the folks getting me unstuck for that 🇺🇸🇺🇸🤙🤙
Right! I would've been like don't worry about it. The exhaust only bent because he was reckless about where he parked his giant RV
the exhaust prob got bent by the first guys attempt to yank out - not even Matt's damage
And let us not overlook the damage done to Lizzy's pants during the recovery. That had to have cost at least as much as the exhaust pipe!
What? You mess up someone else's property, you fix it. No excuses, just integrity and honor.
I’m relatively new to watching Matt and his awesome crew, but hooked already! This is a very talented crew and the videos are well done. I love that their wholesome, without a lot of bad language because I let my little boys watch with me.
“ Hooked “ i see what you did there
I am surprised the RV did not have builtin jacks at each corner for leveling at camp sites, my 1998 georgia boy has manual screw jacks but these new ones should have air powered lift capbility, then all you need is to put wood or rock under the wheels.
Great job either way, you got it out!
The Coach owner should of said no worries on the generator pipe..
It's an insurance issue. Matt has insurance for that stuff because the coaches insurance will go after any way not to pay. Matt covers his butt from a surprise bill by getting it fixed right away.
Generator pipe is maybe $45 at Cummins, I used to be a parts guy at an RV dealership
He definitely should have. It was his idea to drive something that heavy, where he should never have gone.
If I was Matt, I would still replace it even if he said don't worry about it because I was the one that broke it. (with that said, we don't know if he did tell him not to worry about it). Also, it's not like Matt did this as a favor, he paid him for his service.
@@drink15 "If I was Matt, I would still replace" , a lawyer would spin that as admission of guilt
Been subscribed for awhile, this is probably my favorite channel rt now to watch. I appreciate your ethics regarding your business, have come across a few in my lifetime that do this that don’t share the same philosophy. Keep up the great work!
Lizzie is impressive! she seems to be having fun as well. makes me smile.
Have to admire these people going rough camping with only a minimum of equipment.
Lizzy- you’re a rock star! You continue to outdo yourself every time! Great job getting under that RV and working the CORRvair! 💪❤️🐞
Thank you!
@@morrlizzy5350 hey Lizzy, is Randy still there? Miss him.
Lizzy's Team did a great job there... glad you bros could provide the backup she needed!
to drag somthing that big and heavy with it sitting on its frame take seroius torque and knowledge.. expert skill there matt's Team good job
Remember when Matt said he didn’t need the 5 ton.... Pepperidge farm remembers. 😂
Or a winch....
You need a tank recovery vehicle for situations like that.
@@davidhoffman1278 Seriously, most remove these RVs with a D16 Cat!
Well done lizzie! I've been tight under a vehicle, claustrophobia creeps a bit. You rock!
🚩🚩🚩
Nice job!!! That rig is a heavy gal, one of the reasons I refuse to take my 3 axle 45 foot motor home off the road. When we would go to Glamis we would spend a lot of time pulling rigs out.
Dude you’re a total savage with those recoveries the best videos I’ve ever watched
Someone probs already commented but those ‘tag’ axles do lock over a set speed but there is always(I think) a manual lockout switch. Used to drive German made motor coach and it was identical. Also they lock in reverse. Nice videos as always!!
@Hello Kevin how are you doing
Hey MORR team...love your stuff!!
But I have to say, I just about jumped out of my skin when you had Lizzy climb under that coach and here is why......these big coaches sit on air bags for suspension (not leaf springs) and with a push of a button, could easily be deflated, lowering the coach another 3-4".
My point is, I hope every was made aware of this risk, because a simple mistake while this eager young lady was under the coach could have had a horrible outcome.
I don't fancy myself a a safety nazi but this one got to me good!
Carry on team!
Agree... airbags are a huge risk to be under
Good point
You guys are great! Please dont change this formula. Everything is a perfect blend here. The music, talking, jokes and so on. Just a pleasure to watch :)
oh yeah, I think the mugs sold at your store looks great, so i ordered one!
When work is fun its fun to go to work......yall keep rocking it
@Hello Paul how are you doing
I have a similar coach that I've had stuck a couple of times in mud and sand. I used the leveling jacks to raise it up then fill in under the tires. A jeep was able to pull me out. It took doing it a couple of times because I was in deep sand. ~jw
Nobody thinks of this idea, do they!
THEY’VE GOT TO START MAKING MORE GIRLS LIKE LIZZY! 👍👍👍
There’s tons of them out in small towns :)
@@nomnoomz they do they just think there better than god himself. Lizzy's an exception shes awesome
Shes 1 of 2 . Shes got a twin
@@bambur1 yes, but not an identical twin.
There's a bunch in the country side. But guys want a model with a farmers work ethic
Golf clap Lizzie, well done! I was claustrophobic watching you under the front of that RV!
Ed: "Biggest thing is getting it up" LMAO
Trevor: "Just yank it out"
Matt: "coming on your stomach?"
😂
I'll show myself out.
@@williamd1891 7:26
It would be at his age .
Always happy to see Ed, I worry for him with all those smokes
You can see it has levelers at 1:16, jack it and shore it until you're able to get the tires on something solid. We get these snowmobile guys with giant R/Vs stuck every year, do yourself a favor and get some used sled tracks and stud them, then unroll them under the tires for traction, it's worked for us for decades.
I really thought this one might have been too big/heavy for the 4x4 Matt. Lizzie did well and the winch probably helped a lot. Great job though - well done.👍👌😁
Wow, that's a LONG thirty feet! Awesome job getting them out.
Good morning Jillian. Don’t be getting any ideas on buying a Class A to be getting stuck🤣😁
@@beavernut2079 lol!😂😂😂
Perhaps confused by the metric system, he meant
KILOMETERS.
Holy Cow that spring back on that kinetic launch to unstick the Motorhome. Gonna need Matt's Off-Road Recovery Kinetic-Launch Neck Braces !!!
I love that, Matt's a man of his word! I'll buy you a new pair of pants (and he does) AND "We'll get 'em out" (and he does)
