My brother had a 68 Coronet R/T that he bought in 1978 for $600.00 off a guy that I delivered news papers to when I was 14. It was Hemi orange, white vinyl top, white enterior with a 383, 4 speed and Dana 60 series rear-end. I sure would like to find that car! What a blast to drive!
Gorgeous car. After spending a couple years restoring a 74 Challenger (no where near as good as this Coronet) you really appreciate the effort into bringing a 50+ year old car to that level. I am not sure you can find many flaws. An SE, R/T ?!?!?! Are you kidding me! Amazing job.

That's a great ride and I bet it would be a great touring car.
The only thing that would stop me from buying it is the automatic transmission but I tell you what - I would still consider it.

I bought mine new in ‘68 I had a white vinyl top with the white rear strips then I went to Vietnam everything looks correct on this baby

My Dad owned one from new in '68, the year after I was born. This brought back some great memories riding in it with him as a kid. I would tell my Dad, "Daddy do a hundred!"/

My grandpa got a 1968 coronet rt new in 1968 it was identical to this one except he got a 8 track radio
My favorite car of all time I had a 69 Coronet RT love of my life but with child complications with my wife giving birth I had to sell it for medical bills in Austin Texas I will always miss that car but God bless my sons alive and my wife and if I ever could come across one again not that I am retiring that would be my retirement dream to have my cornet or t back
