Wow. Actually the numbered lever is the gear shift. It has 7 speeds. It does not tell you how much brake you want. Speed is controlled by the gear you choose. Also it is not the cheapest Craftsman because there is a T100. You do not put it in choke when you stop it. Only when starting and it has not been run. By the way. If you are the NON MECHANIC the take the "e" out of your name.
My mower holds 2 1/2 gallons, because it is more of an industrial mower. Nothing I hate worst is to run out of gas before I am done. The Key area and hood shake because they are cheap, unlike a car. Funny, you took it for a mud run, lmbo When you turn it off, you should slow the motor down to the turtle. If it is still warm, you can start it with the throttle 1/2 way up. Your front wheels, if there isn't a grease zerk on the rim, then you might want to check to see if the axle needs greased a bit to help keep it from wearing out. Just a Tip
@@NoneMechanic101 were gonna try, when we paid for it we realized it had been on sale for $1349.99. we took a picture of the promotion and ended up getting $54 back on the credit card. Nice mower but I have some tips for you: 1. Don’t leave the choke for so long when you start it and use it while in choke. 2. You don’t need to choke it back up when the engine is warm. 3. Don’t shut off the engine at high throttle because it can backfire. 4. No need to put it on choke when you turn it off.
Not sure if you still have this mower, but I picked one up at the Lowes Outlet Store for a good price. it didnt have a battery but there was a tray insert and the wires, anyway the battery I bought is to big for the tray insert, and when I took the battery insert out, the battery went in to far... i think it was sitting on the axle just above the pulley of the deck. I like your videos, I have a craftsman T110 and now it drives real slow when I throw it up. I did have a spring that broke that I replaced and now the lawnmower drives very slowly. Do you know what the problem could be?
Don’t turn it off not choke. When you turn it off, you push the brake forward and put on the parking brake. Turning it off on choke will destroy the mower. When you turn it off, you put it on slow and turn it off.

DOES IT MOW IN REVERSE
We didn't try it because it says not to.
I have done it in reverse. You must press the exclamation point to make sure that no children are present. With my Deere I have to hold the button down. Now my question is about the deck with the roller bouncing and the deck shakes.
@@Smalltechguy , thank you for helping me out on this one.
Think you better turn the choke off or you'll burn the valves!
Thank you🔧
