Just subscribed. I'm a Southern California native that has deeply wanted to live and work abroad for a long while now. I just watched most of your videos as I potentially court a Swedish company that I've been interviewing with. Trying to consume as many perspectives as I can for Americans living there before I would consider saying yes to an offer, if one happens.
Like the others commenting, I can't wait to hear where you settle next and what your impressions are. Germany interests me most, but we take the opportunities we find.
I want to add, as an audio professional, it's been wonderful to see your growth regarding your camera comfort. The difference between your first video and this one is impressive. You've clearly gotten much more confident with it and you deserve props for that.

That’s exciting that you’re moving somewhere else in Europe-although I will wish the Sweden videos. As a black American woman who wants to visit & move to Stockholm it’s rare to meet other BW who are American that actually live and stay there. Sounds like you didn’t really care too much for Sweden so I’m really interested to hear what you didn’t like. Looking forward to your future travels ❤️

Thank you! I think like many, moving and choosing to stay abroad is a complex topic and there are a lot of factors to consider. I think for me, I liked a lot of the things Sweden had to offer, but it wasn't always easy and there were things that made it hard to see myself there long term. I'll go into detail in a future video of course, but thank you again for your kind words

Two words: Housing Crisis. It defies all logic and sense.

Congratulations!!!! It’s so nice to hear that you do what your heart calls you to do. A lot of people settle and it’s inspiring to see like minded people go to the beat of their own drum 💛 p.s. I was in Sweden for a couple of months as a tourist and it was life changing. Hoping to see more videos!!

I think maybe Germany or Paris those seem the most easy for tech centered people to move, you are an inspirations and once I’m done with my masters in data analytics I hope to get jobs abroad in Europe

Victoria, it's a win. You got up and left in the first place. You did it alone, you took a chance being an expat, and it sounds like you're going to keep it going. It's all a win for you. And you even got better at making videos (in my opinion). And you did it young! I have no doubt you learned all kinds of new things.
I'm probably....6-8 months from starting my travel and video adventures, and just the preparation is tough. So I hope you have an easier time with your next stage(S!), yes an S, keep it going.
Guess on next country? Well I know a person has to have a job waiting in Denmark, so maybe not, but I think you had that situation for Sweden. But I'm guessing you'd choose a friendly place so maybe the UK or Spain...

after 2.5 years in jämtland i have found swedes EXTREMELY difficult to connect with. it's superficially 'ok' but the passive aggro and latent hostility towards 'immigrants' has been deeply shocking and disappointing. frankly, swedes suck but they are so exceptionalist/narcissistic you cannot criticise them as they are too superior to consider criticism reasonably. 👎
    what were your negative experiences?
