Great video, I’m an American living in Germany and have really seen the prices shoot up here. As someone that earns a American salary in Europe I’ve lucked out, but I’ve have many friends that are feeling the pain. Have you looked into turning your balcony in to a hydroponic farm? Really helps on saving money.
We spend around 5-6 000 sek per month for a family of two and a dog. Would you mind sharing why you don’t get loalty cards in ICA, for example? I think it helps us a lot both in planning our purchases and getting bonus money when we shop. We have a shared food card at ICA where we transfer money into every month and get extra points when shopping.
may I ask, do your diet includes meats? just seeing this video scares me is so expensive for a week, but reading your comment, is possible to live on 6000 sek for food per month for 2 people? eating meat, home cooking and some coffee out at least once a week?
For a household of one in Madrid Spain, I spend around €150 per month at supermarkets, my employer subsidies €9 per working day that covers my lunches when eating at the company restaurant or anywhere else during week days or weekends. Food in Spain is cheaper than other European countries, especially for fresh fish, dairy and veggies.
The shocking inflation in recent news hits the entire globe all over. We also try to adjust our budget despite earning a little over enough. These are hard times indeed. Great video, Anastasia! Cheers! 🥰🤓😍
I recommend Krakow, Poland. We have IT specialist salaries nearly on average EU level, food prices nearly similar to germany. But services like transport, restaurants still 40-50% cheaper. And what’s more you can buy apartment for 2.5k/euro ! What in other cities like Munich Berlin Vienna Innsbruck Zurich London Amsterdam is impossible
I did the same to you by noted expenses a f try at least week plan Btw food depends on 2 of us what we feel want to have especially my hubby's Lunch box as I m Asian confess that can't have always just a pasta😅most important thing is coffee daily ❤️🥰we daily cook coffee as north Swedish style sometimes French press weekly estimate per day for 2 people 220 roughly kronas for us seems fine.
I don’t think there is expensive i think as usually there are higher cost of services and transport as people earn more. Maybe I am wrong but it is this way in Germany or Austria
If I was recently in Austria I was able to spend about 50-60 euro for 2 persons on food each day, and every day needs (without transport and accomodation) and if I spend 75-80euro it would be ok ;) But I like to save a bit ;)
I am sorry to share my concern. You look weak or unhappy compared to your older videos. If you scroll behind you will understand what I and my friends meant. We hope that you are alright. In life we will face lot of issues, but please remember that we had good days too. We have a better life than many. We wish you a happy one dear!
@@AnastasiaKVL Thanks for the reply. Don't be unhappy. We too are concerned about the wars, floods, cruelty against women and children, environmental issues etc. But there is always one thing which we can do is, something positive to the world which cultivates humanity and positivity atleast in some people. Like what you were doing through your videos. Do you know that I actually struggled from 2021 to make a career transition to Data Science even if I had some lame jobs in some other industry for 10 years from 2011? It increased my confidence. I had to leave the job in Data Science only after working for 6 months coz I had to relocate to Dubai to find a job. I am jobless from past 4 months but my confidence and hope haven't come down. It's because of your videos. So be happy. You will be in my prayers. Your sadness is our sadness too. 😊
very interesting ! I didn't think it was that expensive. keep it up😘
How're you holding up, Anastasia? Thank you for making this food cost video!
I'd imagine it's more expensive in Oslo
Very helpful, thanks so much for all your effort! That's a lot of data! ;-)
Absolutely adore your channel. I love your way of thinking (very analytical like myself), and your creative display of everything. Just wonderful 🙏

@@AnimGhost 6 000 SEK is more than enough. We eat meat and takeaway as well :)
Same, for us it’s about ~5500sek for two people. With meat and different shacks, everything

I spend ~200 EUR/month in Poland (1 person household) and it's considered high-ish here (:
Perfect video content 🙌🏻

Weekly we spend 100-150 euro for 2 person. If it will be 200 euro i think we need to eat out each day ;)

Can a self taught developer work for major tech companies?
Food is cheap o think the higher monthly cost is buying flat or even renting.

You are right, I am unhappy, really hard to find joy and meaning in life with everything that is going on in the world right now. :(
