@mikhailking3455 It really is unbearable. Now Kishi has killed off Karuma. Stupid fail anime Baruto is. It should have ended wwith Naruto becoming Hokage. What I find most tearjerking in this scene is the character development of Temari and Konkuro. When we first see them during the Chunin Exams, they were terrified of Gaara. His first step towards redemption was when he apologized to them as they retreated, and though they were both surprised, Temari and Konkuro accepted his apology. And now, they’re both watching Gaara be a leader capable of uniting all Shinobi. They couldn’t be more proud to call Gaara their brother.
Everyone did..Don't forget Gaara never held back even in the exam..He is truly someone to call a leader..to overcome the flaws no matter how wrong and make it out with PEACEFUL & GOOD heart
Yea I feel like they always cared for him a little but were scared of him. And after he apologized to them they probably started showing they cared more to him.
@Fusion Plays I dunno, I think they are both cool, but offering to fight to the death is nothing new in the ninja world. Gaara has survived plenty of assassination attempts ever since he was a child, facing somebody who wants to kill him doean't sound like this huge deal. On the other hand, offering his own head in order to obtain peace is pretty big for him for two reasons: 1) It shows how much he's grown. An element that people often miss in pre-Shippuden Gaara is just how much he is scared of dying. Killing others is just a way to hide is own fear of death. When he talks about killing as a "reason to exist" he actually means a reason to keep on fighting to stay alive. If I kill others, it means that I survived, I am still alive. When Naruto defeats him, Gaara's face is twisted in fear and he starts screaming: "I will not dissappear!" Suddently, he's no longer a monster. He's just a little boy who is scared of dying. But here Gaara has learned the value of putting the life of your loved ones before your own. He wants to protect his friend, his brother, his sister, his village, his world. To do that, he is ready to offer his own life. Not just fighting, but actually sacrificing himself. That takes real courage. 2) His true goal is peace. The whole point of his speech is that people need to put their grudges aside. If someone still can't do that, then he offers his own life as compensation. What happens if, instead of that, they fight? Maybe Gaara wins: then the family of the foreigner will hold a new grudge against the Sand. Maybe the foreigner wins, and the Sand will hold grudges against whatever village murdered their Kazekage. Then we're back at square one: conflict. But if he offers his life, then the enemies of the Sand will have had justice, and nobody will be to blame for the Kazekage's death because he took his own life. This is all pretty impressive, considering Gaara's father had wanted him to live in order to win wars. But Gaara is willing to take the opposite path... to die in order to win peace.

What gets me the most is thinking about how Gaara was focused on self preservation before Naruto reached him. And now you have him announcing that he wants to protect others-his friend and the entire world.
A lot of people in the comments say that they wish there were people like Gaara or that we could unite in a real world. Well that's exactly what Naruto teaches us, we must start from ourselves and learn how to be compasionate and reliable. Otherway nothing will change. Naruto is story about people, their characters, weaknesses and pain, let just learn something from that and this world will be much better, even if only for people around us ;)
This is one of my favorite Gaara moments. He spoke clearly from his heart and did what a great leader does to inspire everyone. Im also impressed with his humility and self awareness when he says "I'm too young and inexperienced, I need your help". Hell, I was ready to grab my kunai and charge the white Zetzus.
The use of expressing his humility was a great use of building empathy in the crowd he expressed his personal desires to seem more human and make them relate to him and then expressed weakness to make them realize they're also too weak to protect what they love alone
I honestly don't get it either. This dub was directed by the same woman who directed the dub for Cowboy Bebop. And it shows, because both are phenomenal.
Honestly, it's just Naruto. His voice is so goddamn annoying, at least in the beginning, that I've never been able to get into the series, even though I know from clips like this that it gets really good.
I wouldn’t say I’m emotionally weak but the amount of emotion I get while watching anime specially the big 3 is just in canny. I’m not sure how to describe it. But all I know is this anime holds a special part in my heart
4:00 I always saw this as the worst of them. The Sand and the Leaf were basically instant destruction, so your house is there one second, gone in the next. But imagine watching as your home just…crumbles away. All of it. And there’s nothing you can do about it.
I remember the first time I saw this I was nearly in tears. This is a fictional character and I was just SO GODDAMN PROUD OF HIM and how far he has come! Naruto had such a big impact on his life.
Holy shit! If you would've told me back in 2006 that Gaara, the dude who ruthlessly killed people became the kasikage and gave one of if not thee greatest speech in all of anime I'd say you were bullshiting. I honestly believe Gaara had the best character arch in naruto. From a little boy who hates everything and wants to always kill. To a kind hearted and brave leader who would do anything to save a life. Just an amazingly written character!
I'd say the only other anime speech that comes close to this is Commander Erwins final speech in attack on titan. Both of these speeches had me nearly in tears. They were so good I'd follow them to the end!
Gaara is the embodiment of purity. It’s so admirable. He finally found someone who truly loved him, and he held that close to his heart as he made his way up the ranks, to most powerful man in the sand. He CONTINUED to hold onto that love FAR beyond this war. He was the man that brought shinobi together, and he ALSO adopted a child who was suffering much later in his life. He taught this child, who became the new age’s most incredible shinobi at the time. He doesn’t have some crazy dojutsu, weird DNA, or alien genetics. He’s the most powerful worldly child of our generation, and who brought him up? The most honest, wonderful shinobi of the previous generation: GAARA
i would like to had seen more interaction between naruto and gaara because they had to much in common that i think they could had been better friends than naruto with sasuke or shikamaru , even gaara could be his best friend.

4:26 one of the hardest and realest "come pull up on me later then if you still mad" in anime history
It’s the deep voice
Gaara: "And if y'all want max rank on storm 4, you can catch this smoke!"
This speech gave me chills! Now that’s how you bring people together!
How can people hate on dub naruto, its so good, just listen to it
Alan Majcher they trolls it weabo
I honestly don't get it either. This dub was directed by the same woman who directed the dub for Cowboy Bebop. And it shows, because both are phenomenal.
Naruto's voice is bad. Everyone else's is good
Honestly, it's just Naruto. His voice is so goddamn annoying, at least in the beginning, that I've never been able to get into the series, even though I know from clips like this that it gets really good.
Patrick Naruto’s voice does mature and get better. Also I always thought Naruto being annoying was part of his character anyway lol
Dang this might be the biggest character development I’ve seen
I always watch this when I lose my way in life. Gaara is an inspiration to all
This is why Gaara is one of my favorite characters in all of the Naruto series.
I wouldn’t say I’m emotionally weak but the amount of emotion I get while watching anime specially the big 3 is just in canny. I’m not sure how to describe it. But all I know is this anime holds a special part in my heart
All villages: bust out into fist fights
Gaara : I’m about to end this man’s career
Still tear up hearing this passionate ass speech!
One of the most inspiring speeches I have ever heard great job Gaara
I LOVEEEEE HIS VOICE
4:00 I always saw this as the worst of them. The Sand and the Leaf were basically instant destruction, so your house is there one second, gone in the next.
But imagine watching as your home just…crumbles away. All of it. And there’s nothing you can do about it.
It's heart-warming to watch all these cannon fodder come together as one to get their butts kicked by an army of super-powered zombies.
Most that butt whipping was done by ten tails, obito, madara and the reanimation jutsu(kabuto)
My bro giving the most moving speech of all time. Love you, Gaara, so much...
Neji: you cant expect them to trust each other after one day
Gaara: aite bet
"Between those who have experienced the same pain, there can be no hate"
God we need this speech right now for the world.. why can’t we all just come together like shinobi
How can anyone not love Gaara's character development ?
H-He made me want to cry...😭 that was amazing! That’s why gaara is my fictional husband!
I remember the first time I saw this I was nearly in tears. This is a fictional character and I was just SO GODDAMN PROUD OF HIM and how far he has come! Naruto had such a big impact on his life.
HE WAS MY ENEMY AND HE CRIED FOR ME!!I teared
Can we have Gaara run for President in 2024? We need someone like him.
One of the greatest speeches in anime! Given by the most developed character in Narutoverse😁🔥
One thing Gaara left out is every village is guilty of abusing their Jinchurriki.
They are united not just by their pain, but their sins as well.
Only Gaara and Naruto were bullied
i dont know why but when he saids "do something about it cloud " im DYING LOL
English dub is pretty good! I had high expectations because of English sub but the voice actor nailed it.
I absolutely love gaaras character development throughout naruto
Gaara you made your brother from the pit of pain proud as in said for years two people of pain shall send a voice of peace
First it was Naruto with the POWERFUL speeches, then we have Gaara who does his first ever POWERFUL speech.. They were meant to be friends..
Damn, Garra shows the world he rocks
i would like to had seen more interaction between naruto and gaara because they had to much in common that i think they could had been better friends than naruto with sasuke or shikamaru , even gaara could be his best friend.
