Visually - Larger size versus pallette swapping
Utility - Combat & base boost versus No Effect
General Hunting - Audible & visual indication one is close versus random encounters completely reliant on the blessings of RNJesus...
With inclusion of mods, Lucky variants have some pretty cool palette swaps and visual effects. Feels like Palworld is putting more love/emphasis into the mechanic...
Man they are completely different games….. but I’d argue palworld better the mechanics are way more fun and engaging for me
First off, I absolutely expected Palworld to win the Lucky/Shiny race. Legends Arecus is the only Pokémon game I enjoyed, and I was absolutely disappointed they didn't have a dlc for it.
Yeah, I'm a little bummed about the lack of DLC, but with their new game coming out, Legends Z-A, maybe we'll get more content with it.
What do you mean there was no dlc they added the massive mas out brakes.
@@Sab5524 "Pokémon Legends: Arceus received a free content update called Daybreak (Ver. 1.1. 0), which introduced massive mass outbreaks" I just don't consider the update being a DLC, and I don't think Gamefreak themselves did either. Which is just an opinion of mine.
i feel like the lucky spawn rate n palworld is just rite. u get them enough that it actually feels worth it 2 look 4 them w/o becoming a chore, but they're rare enough that they still feel special!

PLA was the first Pokemon game I enjoyed in a long time. Just wished there was a proper flight mechanic rather than the glide. Palworld is more fun and to me overshadows Pokemon in enjoyability but not longevity...well until more content drops.
That's where I'm at too. If the devs keep dropping content, they'll have a place in the market that can stay for quite a while imo.
