Well keep in mind that playing like that, min maxing stats, etc, is actually fun for a lot! Everyone has a different type of fun. I try not to take the game too seriously and enjoy just playing, but I also enjoying challenging myself!
Subbed, it's excellent to see other RUclipsrs playing monotype. I'm personally playing Monotype Grass Strict mode, meaning I cannot give myself exemptions to Lucky pals. No kindling = No Refined Ingots. You can get Ingots from Bushi Tower Drop farm. You can get Pal Metal Ingot from Shadowbeak/Astegon/Necromus Paladius drops. No watering = No Flour, meaning you can't make cakes. Only way to get cakes is Lovander farming. No electricity = No assembly lines, meaning no late game items whatsover. The best loadout in this case is only Handgun, Grenades, and the dual Crossbows. There are of course adjustments: Strict Mode - no exceptions are allowed, you're locked to one type like a Gym Leader in that other game. Casual Mode - easier mode. Unlike Strict, Casual can grant capture exemptions to Level 1 Kindling/Watering/Electricity. (Kelpseas, Jolthog, Rooby, Foxparks, Teafant). Triple EXP (optional) - As 1/9 of the entire Pal roster will be locked out from capture, experience is painfully difficult to obtain. For sanity sake, this should be tripled (arguably I'd even say x9 EXP to make it normal gameplay). Lucky Clause (optional) - Lucky pals can be caught. Elphidran Aqua Clause (optional) - Water/Dragon monotype only. Allows capture of Elphidran + Surfent for breeding only as it cannot be obtained otherwise. Frostallion Noct Clause (optional) - Dark monotype only. Allows capture of Frostallion for breeding only.
That said, I gave myself 25 stats in work speed and I work more than twice faster than a level 2 worker, without Motivational Leader or Work Pendant buffs.

You have plenty of smaller guide videos already and if you went through some things in that category, you could even turn some of the clips into shorts so you could save some effort and maybe get some more content without being as stressed

I've hyperfixated on every new game that ive gotten and then lost intrest a week or so later (with occasional playing) to the point I'll hear the music every momentof the day (Baulder's Gate), have dreams of them (Palworld and Ark), and I've even picked up on sayings of characters to the point of being scarily accurate in their accents (League)
Dude, the makeshift handgun is sweet. I would never craft it, but going and buying one early with some ammo gives you a lot of fire power in the early to early -mid game. It's fire rate is slow compared to the handgun, but compared to the musket or even the crossbow, it's down right fast.
The Silence of the Lamballs... but they are tasty! Yeah I feel the pain on cooking cakes with a level 1 kindler...it's not fun. Also where did you find that boss digtoise? I have never seen one in all 6 playthroughs.
I know!!!!! 🤣 The boss digtoise was just in a dungeon. That was single handedly the coolest boss I've ever seen. I didn't even know digtoise could be a boss!
Video was great, few things 1. One of those electric pals isnt a pal, if it wasnt a joke that i didn't get. 2 always fight the lucky no matter the level Fight and die like a man 3. When you fought elphidran it was quivern but all of that said it was still funny 🤣 so win win
To be fair with Oserk, the game let you know already to expect curve balls. Does it make much sense you go to the frostbound mountain to fight the ultimate grass type? In that situation though, you were probably expecting ice, and brought fire, so it worked out. By doing that what they ensure is you don't come rolling in with a bunch of powerful ice pals that would wreak Orserk on account of them being dragon. That's exactly what I did when I took him down the first time. I rolled in there with King Paca Cyrst, Vanwyrm Cryst, Mammorert Cryst, And honestly I don't remember who the other two were, one was ice, the other was ground.
Hey, enjoyed the vid. I'm curious why you went for univolt rather than rayhound? I was strutting round on my univolt feeling like the bees knees until I got a rayhound. They're so much faster. Anywho good fun watch .
I think if you do this again you should allow yourself to breed the luck pals for your base! you said you could use luckies in your base if you found them, so by that standard, you should be able to combine those to get pals you need for your base!
A quick note, you can get ingots from beating up the boss bushy. You know the samurai fire pal boss is not a lot, but it would help with some of these challenges instead of looking for a shiny
I found Electric skills and pals are the best for catching bosses and pals... the CC that electricity gives is amazing. Also really supports player damage based builds every well.
I do like your type runs as some other tactics do come up eg your Bushi traps 😂 (different run i know). That said I'd be fine with you choosing whatever you like for the base pals irrespective of type and just keep the battle team the type indicated. The Grind is not fun The best part is you can see pals that normally get passed over. In my first game i used a swift Nigtwing until mid level 40, i swaped for a brief stint but brought it back. At 4 star with some souls it can be decent. It just a bout 1 shot grizbolt and Zoey, got Lyleen in under 4 minutes, Oserk I gave some help really had to work with Falaris.
