I’m so disappointed at Cole for apologizing, I understand the mental health thing he said and stuff but he LITERALLY asked for someone to try him for so many years but as soon as Kendrick does, he responds and then takes back everything he said within 38 hours; this is an album with jabs at Kendrick throughout the entire thing mind you. How are you gonna apologize to the man who dissed you first? And on top of that, all of these Cole die hard fans are talking about “peace” and “positivity” like they weren’t trashing Kendrick when Cole dropped this…hypocrites…. Anyways, these were my thoughts; still waiting on that JID reaction😪🙏

I’m torn about it 😵💫 the hip hop competitive side of me would’ve loved to hear them go back and forth with quality lyrical shots, but the other side of me respects him backing out if he’s not really feeling it, like at the end of the day you gotta do what’s best for you regardless of what people want you to do. When rap beef pops off, I need both sides to be delivering their BEST and genuinely have hate in their heart lmao, and even in the 7 minute drill track, him trying to pick apart Kendrick’s catalogue when we know it was so far from the truth… nahhhh man.
Now I say all this to say, there’s SOMEBODY whose been ducking all this smoke for weeks and it’s still crickets, and I don’t think we’re talking about that enough- 👀
@@StorymodeReacts I understand your perspective on Cole for sure, but it’s just that you can’t do this after continuously calling yourself the best, he even said in Ready ‘24, “nobody on this planet is better than me, I swear to God.” Alright so then prove it. Kendrick told them to bring 3 switches but this man Cole brought a boomerang.😭 I mean, at the end of the day it was gonna be a lyrical battle on who is the better rapper? Who is on top? But ay, you’re speaking the truth about the man with nothing but crickets right now… we need something!👀
Disappointed in Cole too but what he did was kinda lame and hypocritical. He said it, he made a great album displaying his rapping ability and used the diss to propel his sales. You can't say Kendrick uses controversy and you got here with bars and do that. Plus he didn't even want to do it like he went against what he said on middle child and his raps on MLD about not being true to yourself putting up a front. #prideisthedevil

This had to grow on me, but it is growing on me nicely. It’s actually really solid to me. Except Fever. Deleted it Expeditiously.
- The Hunting Wabbits vocal sample is a video that was a spoof of Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd. Warner Bros had the video taken down though.
- The sample on Pi is a song called Rainmaker.
And I have to mention Fever. It reminds me of Controlla. Being around Drake on tour possibly inspired it. Feels like he wrote it for Drake tbh lol. If Drake performs the same song it’s a hit. It’s a textbook Drake song.

I feel like Cole misunderstood the whole point of this "beef". I'm 100% Kendrick has no actual physical hate for Cole, they both value the same things, its clear in their music. But for some reason Cole felt like this was gonna somehow turn to actual war in the streets while in reality it's just competition in pen. Probably the fans jumping on the bandwagon to hate Kendrick (and tpab specifically) didn't help
