    Yeah, this might not be the experience of every woman in the church, but it's definitely my experience, and definitely the experience of countless women I have talked to.

    Truly an excellent excerpt of your Podcast. I feel I’ve heard a woman’s perspective in a way I haven’t heard before. Different than mine, which is so common among guys, but so well articulated through a woman’s eyes. It allowed me a huge amount of empathy for what they went through. Great couple. Thanks for the post.

    One of the biggest eye opening experiences of my life was when guys who only wanted to have one night stands with me, were more emotionally intimate than what any Mormon guy in a committed married relationship for years knew how to be. And Bishops are completely clueless about this. So you know that their not having real sex with their wives either.
    Ladies, don't give your husbands sex if they are not going to learn to be emotionally intimate with you.

      Good advice I guess. Considering the fact that I don’t even know what emotionally intimate even means

    There’s polygamy in the celestial kingdom so why do they try and get there so badly? And the original documents say “strong drinks” not coffee and tea

    A lot of this baggage is pretty specific to SLC. I’m not sure this BS is much of an issue in communities that are NOT predominantly Mormon.

    I’m not sure it’s naturally possible to have a “great body” after having several children. Even one does a number on most women…

    This woman completely missed the point of the whole gospel and I feel so sorry for her. This is more of a personality problem than anything else. There are people outside of our faith that struggle with this too

    Paul the greatest christian that ever lived preached the gospel of grace to US THE GENITLES. We are that lost sheep in the last days, not the levitical tribe and the restoration of 613 jewish laws that is a mockery to the cross as the bible says there is no priest after the royal priest jesus christ. The book of mormon is levitical fiction story, to entrap us back under the law that jesus died for or fulfilled. John the baptist was the last levite and only levites hold that priesthood and only for the levities as other jews paid tithes and offerings to the levite priests for their land and survival. IT was never for us gentiles. So why would john the baptised restore the aronic priesthood and to gentiles also??? Peter, james and john were not levites and even peter found it hard to understand paul the appostles messege on grace that was ushered in after death of christ, while the law still lingered carried on by peter. Yet apon this rock the catholic church was organized, and even the mormon church organized under the higher priesthood that peter restored......No NON LEVITE held that priesthood and god is not changing to add or restore those laws of bondage again... Those laws were only a shadow whats to come, by animal sacrifice of lambs to the sacrifice of the lamb of god on the cross. The dispensation of paul was removed in the mormon church the messege of the cross, the blood of jesus, the ending and fulling of the law, and grace for us gentiles, was the adoption into the house of israel as christian jews we become, nothing to do with prieshood and added laws.... The bible says nothing about repenting of sins but to repent by CHANGE OF MIND, surrender our filthy rags of rightousness and enter into christ righotusness, thus the enabling power of the holyghost is the strength to live obedient and not off our selfs,, Mormons stop beating yourselfs up living in sin conciousness always worried about sins and all former sins return from not repenting, as NO ONE can avoid sins always and no one can live up to the impossible gospel restored all those 613 jewish old testiment laws. I am an ex mormon, attempted suicide, broken temple marrige trying to live up to those laws and judged to point of insanity when I failed.... Stop this nonsence of earning grace, and accept it as a free gift besides resurrection for all, there is nothing we can DO, but christ repented for us on the cross and all we have to do is to change our minds, give up trying to be rightous and enter into christ righousness. THE BEINGNESS not the DOINGNESS is the key in christ rightousness.......we go to heaven because we love and want to follow the lord rather than follow the lord because we want to or buy our way to heaven like most mormons and works based relegions DO....... Sisters in christ, brothers in christ we are the bride of christ the groom, not to each other for eternity... ETERNAL MARRIGE is not biblical nor is it in the book of mormon, it is a bondage and a covetneness that we need it to have joy in heaven depending on each other, and having eternal sex and jellous of anyone else who is sealed in the temple are going to become gods, NONSENSE...I was more sexual in the church than out of the church, driven by dependance on a wife, made her my goddess wifey under all those 613 jewish laws restored to live up to in the impossible gospel of mormonism drove me crazy for sexual release in marrige just to function normally in the church. You are made worthy in christ rightousness not off your own rightousness. As appostle elder holland said it might as well be a broken down old shack in heaven (tho it is a mansion) than live there without his beloved wife. This is all nonsense... There want even be lust in heaven nor sex. My utube video supporting the mormon church, tho putting grace before works, that makes us true christians is the most important messege tho in my recent comment, have totally respected the biblical views that there is no priest beond jesus christ the high priest as that would be mocking the cross of christ... see my video that also covers the book I am writing the 3 levels of happiness in marrige really worth watching.... appostle Bedner said we need to earn grace, activated it as important as it is by our own worthiness half way up the ladder then christ will meet us and do the rest. This is nonsense and a mockery to the free gift of grace. Even paul said if he came back as another angel preaching another gospel let him and that man be accursed to buy into the lie. Mormonism is another gospel and another angel and the book of mormon is levitical fiction, and not the stick of joseph fortold, but paul revealed that US the gentiles were that other sheep that would become onefold and one shepherd, not the levitical tribe. KNow the truth and the truth shall set you free and bring you peace. There is no peace in trying to live up to 613 laws of obedience that is all jewish and mocking the cross of jesus and totally against the free gift of grace.....merry xmas everyone, Darryl Kirky perth western australia.

      Sorry, but you sound just as crazy as Mormons do. The fact that you are putting so much weight on the Levitical Priesthood shows you are in as big of a bubble as Mormons are. "God" doesn't give a shit about your priesthood or this 613 number you are blabbing about.

    i started watching this and ...mormon women have to have a perfect body?? Uhh i don't know too many women in the church that have perfect bodies. it's not exactly a church of beauty queens. Not in the states i've lived at least. and as far as sex, would she have prefered a bunch of sex partners , before marriage, that didn't care about her?

    • @caseyjude5472
      @caseyjude5472 3 года назад +7

      Why is it always the extreme? Bunches of partners?! Who said anything about bunches? How about just ONE healthy relationship that plays itself out over a few years, like, I don’t know, high school sweethearts, or college sweethearts, or anything where you’re not rushed into marriage because you went on a third date?
      Oh, and her husband-her sex partner-didn’t care about her sexual experience. Intimacy & love do not require marriage, nor do they magically appear because you’re married.

      I think the “perfect body” expectations aren’t nearly as prevalent outside of Utah, Arizona and Idaho. I grew up in the church in the Midwest and most of the sisters in the ward looked like your typical midwestern mom with a large family. Having also been in a more affluent ward in an area with a high concentration of Mormons, what they’re talking about here checks out.
